colly227: I used an IPad..since you ain't a techy person just go for galaxy tab.

So only those who are not a techy person use galaxy tab?
Please stop this trash.

@Poster, all the things you listed can be done with ipad or galaxy tab. The next thing you consider is cost. The prices galaxy tabs are really coming down. You can consider buying a brand new one. There is nothing ipad can do that galaxy tab can not do. I want somebody to prove me wrong. Tell me one important task ipad can do that galaxy tab cannot do.

jaybee: has the new owners of phcn taken over operations? or is phcn now on autopilot? i thought it is these nepa staff whom you are all castigating here that are manning the operations uptill now. lol need somw explanation, please.

You are very intelligent

Balogunsam, you really have sound knowledge of these android tabs. Keep it up. Another thing you must do is to prove your integrity, when you have the trust of the people the sky is your limit.

Bangkokworld: It's exactly for the reasons above i have never been able to come round to buying an Ipad. I hate the idea of a manufacturer dictating to me how I should use a device that is completely mine after shelling out tens of thousands of my hard earned Naira to buy the device. It's my device and therefore I should be completely free to use it how and when I please. If the manufacturer wants to tell me how to use their device, then they shouldn't sell it to me, they should give it to me free, then I would understand if they want to control how I use it.

I can never use my money to buy a restricted device no matter how cool everyone says it is. I am eagerly awaiting the Microsoft Surface.. especially the one that can be used like a normal PC... it enables me to install a Windows 8 OS, install applications like Office 2010, etc... just the type of Tab I've been dreaming of for ages. I can't wait. Apple can go to hell with their restrictive devices
