and who says 512mb can't handle HD games?
infact I played mc4(1.8gb+ or so) on the n7 no noticeable lags
at times what matters is the processor and GPU.
Note that if you are a hard core gamer this phone will disappoint you

To all gurus in this thread, do your research on any phone before buying. Align the specs with your requirements. If you need a phone with higher ram, go for galaxy note 11, s4, s3, HTC one, nexus 4 and others. You will get high processing power. For those with low budget, needs android dual SIM and large display please stick to your n7. Make your choice.

francis247: You dey mind d learner? I guess he's unaware of d fact that games of 30-50mb sit on nothing less than 40 - 50mb of RAM when running. Imagine how many games of hundreds of mb to 2gb will sit on, not to mention programs/apps running on background whether you like it or not.

DUDE, I am a learner and happy to be one. Thank God for that. Is only the living learn and as long as I live, I must continue to learn. Most of my professional certifications require meeting up the annual CPE without which the certificate is revoked. So you see, learning is part of my life.

Mafia4life: The N7 may flop if they leave it that way. N3 still remains their most successful device. The 512 ram is a turn off. It lag on screen menu. Now that the device is no longer available, I just hope they want to do the same thing they did when the low spec N3 was first produced ( 256mb ram and 800mhz)... But if shyt remains the same. Imma go for bolt race whose battery power is owesome ( according to user reviews)

I dont think most of you really understand the function of RAM is a device. The RAM size of 512 is adequent for most operations and processes. Never mind the spec war being executed by manufacturers notably samsung. what do you think is the RAM of iphone 4s? Is it not 512? still yet the cost of used iphone 4s in Nigeria will buy two n7 phones with some change. Presently i use htc phone with 512 RAM, which gives me same experience like my Texno N7. It is not true that n7 lags. If really want higher ram, why not buy gn11 or nexus 4.

I have the two, I will advice you to buy firman, TEC is one the most useless generators on the planet. My TEC generator lasted only for six week while The Firman is about two years now

@Poster, all the things you listed can be done with ipad or galaxy tab. The next thing you consider is cost. The prices galaxy tabs are really coming down. You can consider buying a brand new one. There is nothing ipad can do that galaxy tab can not do. I want somebody to prove me wrong. Tell me one important task ipad can do that galaxy tab cannot do.
