I really doubt this guy came to steal the 3 or 4 generators with a car, from a mini estate in broad daylight . He kept saying 'na wrong address'. I mean, they should have heard him out. I remember calling a borehole repairer to come fix a faulty borehole somewhere but he mistook d address I sent him and went to another compound to start dismantling the Sumo because I told him it was a Sumo problem. Instead of him to come to,for example, number 2 Tinubu avenue,he went to number 2 Tinubu street. All within same locality.This is a true life story. Before he knew it, the occupants of that compound gathered and started harassing the man, calling him a thief. His explanations fell on deaf ears,not even when he said he wanted to call me,but thankfully, it was one guy who asked him to put the call across.
I quickly drove down to the place and apologised profusely to the man and the occupants of that building.
Jungle justice in whatever disguise is condemnable. This guy,I can tell you,may not be a generator thief.
