I really cant say if they will recount or not. However, if I am in your shoes, I will most probably decline ITA but then again I tend to be risk averse in issues such as this. You have to sha weigh declining the ITA against whether you think that CRS score for ITA will fall below its last week score for the next couple of draws. conebeam: Yes Claire40, exactly what they counted. To CIC I have 35months. Do you feel they will recount with days after AOR? Hope I am not raising issue where there is none. |

it looks like you have 35 months. January 2016 was counted as a month, same as march 2018 then maybe they rounded up in your favour 3rd November 2014 to 2nd January 2016 - 15 months 27th April 2016 to 27th April 2017 - 13 months 1st August 2017 to march 2018 - 8 months |

@Emmasonic4me, the refund is real. I received the automated message same day as I sent the mail to WES customer service. Today I received another mail that they will process my refund although they did not state how long it will take. Emmasonic4me: You're welcome. Please keep the house posted on the outcome. |

will try it. Thanks Emmasonic4me: Did you know you can get a refund of the harmonized sales tax (HST) after evaluating your credentials with WES??
I just stumbled on this(attached screenshots) and some people who tried it have recorded successful refund of $37.05. It was discussed that the HST is paid by Canadians and since we are not (at this point), it shouldn't have been part of the bill.
I used IQAS for my ECA so it doesn't apply. Please let's explore this and see what happens for those who used WES.
Caveat: I do not know yet if there's a time frame or validity period to ask for a refund. |

Congrats. Favoredme: It's PPR people!!!
My timeline is:
ITA..... Jan 10 AOR.... Jan 17 MEP..... Feb 02 IP1 ...... Feb 02 NA2..... Feb 06 IP2 ...... Feb 20 PPR .....Feb 20
When this part 3 was opened, I made a silent declaration that my PPR story will be told here and here it is!
I want to give God the praise because myself and spouse wrote IELTS in August 2017 once using only ieltsbuddy.com and the road to IELTS from BC. Then ASUU or was it NASU strike held back our WES until Nov/Dec 2017. Family size of 5.
We started this process using the CIC website only until I stumbled on this thread (part 2) through Google. I will encourage newbies to read the CIC website and thoroughly because every needed info is there and seek further guidance or Naija experience from this thread and parts 1 and 2. |

Phew..... 225 pages conquered!!!. Thanks to everyone for sharing and being helpful. Seniors in the house, I have some questions, please bear with me and help in answering them.
1. From my research, I gathered that foreign trained lawyers can apply for exemption from articling in Ontario. Please has any one successfully done this or know someone who has? The thought of paying for and writing NCA exams and then searching for article placements is freaking me out. The possibility of exemption is one of the reasons am drawn towards Ontario
2. Please is worth certifying as an environmental professional(EP) from Eco Canada. Will it give me an edge in applying for regulatory advisory roles in the oil and gas industry in Canada? I have over five years as an environmental lawyer and from the information I have from eco Canada's website, I'm eligible to become an EPt and after one year of Canadian experience become an EP. Please what certifications do people working as policy analysts in Canada typically have? |
