In awarding child custody, they will usually look at things like who is the primary carer of the child. The person with custody is the person that would typically be entitled to child support. It very simple logic. A child remains the responsibility of both parents and so both parents should contribute towards the child's upbringing. That is why men and women can be ordered to pay child and spousal support depending on who earns more and how custody is shared.

Upon divorce, except where there is a prenup ,whatever financial gain made during the marriage subject to few exceptions are divided equally between the parties. So one party rarely ends up wealthier than another. Read about the principle of equalization of net family property just in case you are interested in knowing more.

What needs to be done is to return to the drawing board. You will need to negotiate on the roles you play in the family going forward and see if your visions for the future will align with the realities in Canada so that no one feels cheated and starts acting up.

Meanwhile if before marriage, you were forming "I am a traditional man, my wife cannot work" and she was forming " I am a traditional woman, my place is in the kitchen" and based on that premise, you guys got married. It would be unfair to unilaterally change that contract. The traditional model still work for some families here, since childcare is quite expensive.

Personally I think going to work is easier than child care and housework, and there is an opportunity cost that the stay-at-home spouse pays. That is, the loss of opportunity to grow their career. I think it is wrong to look down on stay at home parents or classify them as lazy people.

For those of you considering getting a prenup, please remember to do it right. Use a lawyer(yes, they are expensive, but it's better to do it right) . Then your fiance/fiancee should also seek independent legal advice so that the chances of issues arising as to the validity of your prenup will be minimized.

Feeling so sad for Nebud cry cry. I do not like Chuspecip, Nebud was right to rebuke him. oh my Nebula...you little life cut short.

Well done Obehid. This was an awesome story. You succeeded in making us invested in Nebud's happiness.

Who is the green eyed person that was part of the invaders in the beginning? I thought they were coming to kill Nebud. How did the uspecs lose the ability to procreate? So many questions. Will they be answered in another book?

Thanks for sharing your talent with us.

Fantastic work ObehiD. More ink to your pen...

Meanwhile, I have a feeling that you are a lady growing in grace. I started reading Crimson night and so many descriptions are familar. If my hunch is right, I'm swelling with pride. Keep the flag flying. If my hunch is wrong, most of what I have said above will not make sense.

You are an awesome writer.

Check the studio 24 in the plaza opposite Hilton. Just tell them it's for canadian PR, they know the specification but you can always confirm with your ruler before paying
Alekhine:
Please, who are those having issues or have had issues with their Passport photographs and what can they recommend including a place to take the pictures in Abuja. Note I have also sent a Studio 24 pic and was rejected. I will also like to know if sending pics from Nigeria is an issue. Thanks.

Well, I partly agreed in my essay and I scored 8.5 in writing. Overall, nice points.
muvey10:
Sometimes I wonder why people have issues with writing.Writing was the simplest to me..first attempt 8.0 while listening was the hardest, because if you don't hear, there is absolutely nothing you can do..if you read the writing marking criteria, you should know what to do to get the score you want for example.lI knew I would get 8.0 because in task achievement I fully developed my main point explaining it critically which would have given me 9 coherence and cohesion- I made sure I used linking words appropraitely vocabulary 8- use less common words accurately-8 grammar I knew I had issues with grammar so I probably got 7 for missing p unctuations and articles-7 which gave me a band score 8.. I was smart, i made sure I got 9 in task achievement which is the easiest, use some high level words accurately, so my being average in grammar didn't affect me.
Most people get low scores because
1.you didn't answer all the questions asked which gives you a 5 in task achievement so by the time you add the other 3 aspects you would fall on 6
2.you have too many ideas in one paragraph and don't explain well which ends you up in a 6 so by the time you add other aspect you end up with 6.5
Some people don't even answer the specific question, they start talking abou the general question.
3you have too many grammar errors which is a difficult thing to overcome, you have to improve your English
Many people sit on the fence and don't state their opinion..,someone told me in her essay she wrote she partially agrees, i knew instantly she would get nothing more than 6.5 when she told me she got 6 I wasn't surprised..What is partially agree please? It is not about what you think, look for the best approach to write a good essay, and one of the easiest way is to fully agree or fully disagree, when you partially agree it is extreemly difficult to state your point.
When writing examples many people use personal examples because the question said from your experience.we need to be smart about things if you want to pass ielts.. use a research or study you read, it is simple and easy to validate your points.when you use personal examples you mess up the whole essay
The few I can think of

Nairaland has been my Canny bible. Thank you to all members who pain stakinly post and supply answers...Men and angels will rush to favour you.

I am not a catholic but this 3 prayers were useful to me and my family .

Wrote IELTS with just about few days preparation, nursing 11 month old twins and working in a busy dept yet i cleared it once. I recited the Saint Joseph of Cupertino prayer and my level of confidence was so high that I got home telling hussy " I think i will miss only one question in Reading"....result was 8.5.

POF ..... Saint Jude prayer for financial assistance...two days after that prayer His miracle came forth seamlessly.

Then at the point of submission...we held hands....5 of us... sang and prayed.

The 3days Holy spirit prayer comforted us that it will end in praise.

Kai....Jesus you love me too much o....cant just stop speaking in tongues...cos i cant find the words.

Waiting to rejoice with you too.

I am not sure the bolded had anything to do with why your application was sent to London sha.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by Claire40: 9:39am On Oct 29, 2018
I have no idea because I even got bank letter in the required format and added pension 25% to take care of fluctuations. I thought I was meticulous with my application but it was the section that needed to be reviewed. I saw other peoples GCMS that stated things like- "..... amount in .... bank." While mine stated "review required, .....amount needed for a family of one"
Debsify:
sorry to ask..what did you do wrong with your POF arrangement that made your application move to London?
