Please a response will be highly appreciated for additional context I have been to Canada twice in the past and each time I spent more than 4 months but this time around an agent was saying something about extra scrutiny from immigration which lead me to ask here if I’m safe to book my normal 5 months ?

Plus can I book a ticket for 5 months I’m hearing they changed the law and you can’t stay more than a month at a time I’ve been to Canada twice first time I spent 5 months second time I spent 4 months at the entry port I told them I was going for summer holiday and I would be staying with my brother and no problem but now one agent is saying I should book a month and extend while there because they might be sceptical at the POE

Good evening gurus how long does it take after submission of passport in vfs Lagos before getting it like I’m trying to know so I can book my ticket ahead so as to avoid any issues I have an appointment to submit next week

I tried booking appointment with vfs and this their otp doesn’t work now I tried to go to vfs in person the snood people here is just overwhelming now I have to book in a cyber cafe just next to the vfs global and they are say 5k per passport and we are 5 I don’t know the exact special thing they are even doing here

If i want to book an appointment online do i book for each person in my family or just one appointment will cover for everyone?

Depends on a lot of factors- everyone’s circumstance is different

I am a PR and I invited my sister last year. We only submitted my own financial statements etc. she didn’t show any financial documents- she just got her leave letter from work (I think I did a post last year). Her visa was approved quickly. She’s come and gone back to Nigeria.

If I may ask please what are some of the documents included on invitation letters?

Most TRV application started eligibility review this month of February so just give it a wait now till the mid April they would answer soonest.

Although someone here says if you apply another it doesn’t affect the other I am not withdrawing my application just creating another application

I guess your Eligibility just started not quite long, it's okay to wait a little more since you have waited for more than a year and a half.

At this point we can’t wait anymore or else they answer before the end of the month

its not part of the requirements. Thats for students and permanent resident applications

So all I need is proof of funds and investments and properties in Nigeria and the invitation letter for the application is that good enough?

This is what my application is saying that is why I want to do another application so I want to ask guys I have an invitation letter now do I need to do police report and medical report in my application or it’s fine without it just my bank statement and properties.

Good evening me and my family applied since September 2021 we’ve been waiting since then I’ve raised different web forms now I’m seriously considering withdrawing my request so I can apply on the new portal but I decided to raise one last webform and I got this response from them what do you guys think we should wait or go ahead and withdraw I know many people on this forum got their ppr after getting a response to their webform but I’ve been really patient any one with good advice would be appreciated thank you.
