Car recall is a sad and unfortunately a common circumstance in the auto world. Over years they have been various recalls by different Auto makers.

A Car Recall is when a Car manufacturer finds out that a car that has already hit the market has a defect that makes it unsafe or very unreliable. This defect is usually on a particular part of the car e.g Wheel, Axle, engine, steering and so on. The duration is not fixed, some defects are discover almost immediately it entered the market, others can take a longer time, up to a year or two.

A new research with a proof of concept indicates that electric cars can charge while it is driving. Tesla’s dream of wireless electricity is becoming a reality. Electric car has been around for a while, but charging stations is few and far between. Most electric cars can go between 160 kilometers(100 miles) to 402 km(250 miles)on one full charge. With this new technology, the mobility of electric cars will not be limited to the availability of charge stations.

According to a report from Techexplorist, the University of Colorado Boulder engineers are working to bring it closer to reality.

Khurram Afridi, an assistant professor in CU Boulder’s Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering and his colleagues have developed a proof of concept for wireless power transfer that transfers electrical energy through electric fields at very high frequencies over the last two years.

A recent Research reveals that Researchers themselves are Spying on tweets(even deleted tweets) on the micro blogging /social media platform TWITTER. A recent study published suggest Twitter is threading on the same murky waters as it fellow social media platform Facebook.

With so many researches taking place daily many have turn using social media dates with the users of such platforms knowing. The ethical nature of such studies have been questioned.

Organizations such as the Association of Internet Researchers (AOIR) have offered guides for researchers. The guidelines however are often revised as researchers tend to adopt new pattern for their data collection.

The researchers may claim the use this data for a greater good, I personally disagree. There is nothing ethical in spying users content on social media.

Apple, the the mobile technology gaint has been working on their own MicroLED screen Technology. Apple is building screens using MicroLED technology and is planning to test a small number of them to see how they might fare on its devices.
This will really help Apple as the are currently relying on Samsung, LG and others for their MicroLED screen.

By developing its own panels, Apple can cut its competitors out of that equation and produce its own screens. The move could be especially important on the iPhone, where Apple spends billions on displays.

A fisherman in Siberia made a grim discovery yesterday (March while walking near the icy Amur River: 27 pairs of human hands chopped off, severed at the wrist and stuffed into a bag. Russian authorities said the hands were likely disposed of by a local forensics lab, bucking proper protocol.

According to the Siberian Times, the fisherman found the bag of hands on a small river island near the city of Khabarovsk, Russia, located in the country’s far southeast about 18.6 miles (30 kilometers) from the Chinese border. The Amur River is a popular local fishing destination, the Times reported.

Foul Play?
While many social media spectators (naturally) suspect foul play, officials from the Investigative Committee of The Russian Federation — a government agency responsible for criminal investigations — have said that the hands appear to have been improperly disposed of by a forensics lab in Khabarovsk.

“The biological objects (hands) found are not of a criminal origin,” the Investigative Committee wrote in a post (as translated) on the messaging app Telegram, “but were disposed of in a manner not provided for by law.”
