Apple’s new iPhones for 2018, are officially here, the new arrivals are iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. The company announced three new iPhones in the Apple September Event yesterday to celebrate it ten years of existence of iPhones.
Apple September Event is always the place to announce the new consumer gadgets and accessories. Apple do this yearly just before Christmas so that you can either buy now or save for it before Christmas.

The first two new models announced are called the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

Whiles they both have the same features, they are very different in size. One of them is the biggest iPhone ever made and it’s one of the biggest phones out there, believe me.

Not all the news on Wednesday was appealing. The company is no longer selling the iPhone X, 6S, 6S Plus or SE models through its website. The four phones are surprisingly missing and most shockingly the best selling SE.

The iPhone XS, for instance, which has the same 5.8-inch screen size as the iPhone X while the XS Max model has a huge 6.5-inch screen. That’s far bigger than the iPhone 8 Plus (5.5 inches) and bigger even than the Galaxy Note 9 (6.4 inches)

That improvement includes a display with better dynamic range, wider stereo sound from the speakers, and speed increases to Face ID.............

Google has been fined €4.3BN after being accused by European Union of using Android (Mobile Operating System) to ‘illegally cement it’s dominance’ .

The firm’s parent Alphabet has been given 90 days to change its business practices or face further penalties of up to 5% of its average global daily turnover.

Google has said it plans to appeal. However, it could easily afford the fine if required – its cash reserves totalled nearly $103bn at the end of March. At a press conference in Brussels, Competition Commissioner Margrethe Vestager said consumers needed choice.

And she suggested the ruling could lead manufacturers to sell smart devices using different versions of the Android operating system to Google’s, such as Amazon’s Fire OS, which she said they had been prevented from doing.

The US Justice Department has now ruled that the blueprints outlining how to make a 3D-printed gun can go back online.

This is after a four-year battle between the makers of the gun, Defense Distributed, and the US State Department. The first printed firearm was made in 2013. Files showing how to replicate the process were then put online and downloaded more than 100,000 times. The US government ordered them to be removed shortly afterwards. It argued that the files violated the International Traffic in Arms Regulation, which governs what military materials can be exported. Defense Distributed joined forces with the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) – set up in 1974 to defend the right to own guns – to sue the State Department over the clampdown. The US Justice Department has now said that Americans may “access, discuss, use and reproduce” the technical data. The government has also agreed to return $10,000 (£7,600) in State Department registration dues paid by Defense Distributed. It will also pay the organisation’s legal fees......

The internet is full of strange things, a US mum has written a Facebook post describing her shock at seeing her child’s avatar being “gang raped” by others in the online game Roblox, that is a case of cyber-rape.

The victim’s mother Amber Petersen said her seven-year-old was playing the game, which is marketed at children, when she showed her the screen and asked what was happening.

She also shared screenshots, which showed two male avatars attacking her daughter’s female character. Let us understand what Roblox is and why parents should be concern.

Apple Map App has been appalling since it was launch. The company try hard to fix it, they patched, plug and what have you, it was still bad. The company was aware this poor attempt on mapping and the offered an apt apology. Apple CEO Tim Cook, wrote a letter to that effect. In the letter, Cook states that he is “extremely sorry for the frustration” and that the company “fell short on the commitment” of bringing world class products to customers.
Since 2012 when that letter was written, it may seem like ages ago, Apple are determined to get it right. The company are rebuilding the Map app.

According to a BBC report Apple are desperate to catch up on the rivals in the Map’s department.

So the company has now announced it will rebuild its Maps data using a fleet of specially-designed vans.

It will also use data gathered from iPhones to power traffic information.

The Korean Company is ready launch the worlds first foldable smartphone, possibly as soon as next year. Analysts covering Samsung Electronics said the company plans to release a Galaxy-branded “foldable” device, next year.

Tesla describes former employee Martin Tripp as a criminal, a man who hacked into Tesla’s systems in order steal information and sully the company’s reputation on safety.

Because of this, the company is suing him for $1m.

But Mr Tripp – Marty to his friends – says he’s a whisteblower being smeared for speaking out about standards and safety at the company, and deserves protection.

He says he was sharing details of what he claims is a huge amount of raw material waste at the company, and concerns about battery safety.

In documents filed to a Nevada district court on Wednesday, Tesla painted Mr Tripp as a disgruntled former employee, a man who had wanted a promotion from his job as a “process technician”, a role he had been in since October 2017.

He was based at the company’s enormous Gigafactory battery plant near Reno, Nevada.

“Tripp retaliated against Tesla by stealing confidential and trade secret information and disclosing it to third parties, and by making false statements intended to harm the company,” the court documents alleged, adding that Mr Tripp admitted some of the accusations when confronted.

YouTube is entering the highly competitive Music streaming service with a platform of their own called YouTube Music. YouTube is launching a music streaming service, offering both videos and audio tracks, in an attempt to compete with the likes of Spotify and Apple Music.

YouTube Music will combine millions of “official” tracks with the vast catalog of rarities and remixes uploaded by YouTube’s users. Like Spotify, it will offer a free, ad-funded app, alongside premium subscriptions costing $9.99 per month.

It was launch in five countries, including the US and Mexico, on 22 May. The Google-owned company said YouTube Music would come to Europe “soon”. Music streaming is a big industry and the key players are making big profits yearly.

The first thing you notice when you look at the Vivo Nex s is the screen display, which may never come to market, is its ultra-bright OLED display. The phone isn’t completely bezel-less — there’s still a slight chin below the display to house the driver — but there’s no notch to be found at the top of the screen, as Vivo has developed clever solutions for the earpiece and front-facing camera. Its bezels measure 1.8 millimeters all around, except for the chin, which is 4.3mm. A Vivo rep said the company could slim that bezel down even further to create a true full-view display in a Vivo variant. With such slim bezels, there’s no room for a front-facing camera, so Vivo hid the lens on top of the phone, very clever I reckon. The lens pops up when you tap the selfie mode in the Camera app.

The company is simply innovative at what the have done to their speakers. Instead of using a traditional speaker, the Nex S conducts audio through vibrations in the OLED glass.

Apple Bans cryptocurrency mining in their iPhones and iPads. The bans is evident in the company’s developer guidelines which they recently updated to outlaw cryptocurrencies “mining” on iOS devices.

Apple’s New Regulations
According to a report by AppleInsider the new rules restrict apps that drain battery, generate excessive heat, or put unnecessary strain on device resources — all of which take place in bitcoin mining.

“Apps, including any third party advertisements displayed within them, may not run unrelated background processes, such as cryptocurrency mining,” Apple says on its website.

It’s unlikely someone could successfully “mine” bitcoin on an iPhone or iPad alone because of the amount of energy and computing power it takes. But Apple’s move could pre-emptively stop future, less energy-intensive digital currencies from being mined on these devices or halt the pooling of multiple devices to accomplish it.
