Nashville: Ngige's victory will mark the end of APGA as a party. No governors, no senators!APGA's soul is dead with the disqualification of Soludo while the body is deposited in the morgue pending the final burial rites on the 16th of November. ![]() |
I'm no supporter of peter obi and apga. But seriously @cleverly, do you think peter obi and apga would sit down and allow ngige win?? Mind you, ngige's victory would mark the begining of the end for apga. From the look of things, with the calm approach obi and his goons have towards this election, i bet they've got something up their sleeves. November 16th is not far. We are watching.
Why do you think, he failed to rig Akunyili in the last senatorial Election? Don't worry if it comes down to rigging, we would take care of that! Trust me and they know Ngige well |
njideoby: I hope you will be able to bear it when the final result of the November Election is finally out and your Oga will not be the winner. And who do you think would beat Ngige in November? I know you are not on ground for sure. |
Before this time, we were made to believe on Nairaland that Nigige was not popular, Ngige was not going to win his Local Govt, Ngige was going to bear the brunt of the alleged"deportation", Anambra were going to protest with their votes, Ngige was going to be stoned during rallies and so on. Then fastforward to the present, Ngige support base has surged to the extent that, even his sworn enemies can attest to the fact, that if Anambra Gov Election was to be held today, it would be landslide for Ngige. To support the above, check out the number of I D s that have sprung up on Nairaland since Last two weeks, all with the same brief-"lets run Ngige down". Then what happens to the other contestants?? But these are the reasons why all their efforts would fail: 1. Just came back from APC's Strategic Meeting yesterday held in Awka where I took out time to sample opinions about Ngige and Fashola "deportation". Out of about 30 people I asked about 28 said they didn't know what I meant by deportation, that it was Ngige or Nobody. Conclusion; Deportation only exists on the minds of paid e-posters. 2: Ojukwu's factor is no longer there. 3. Ngige perception by Anambra people as a liberator and Man of the People. 4 : crisis in PDP. 5 . Obi's handling of Soludo's disqaulification. 6. No other credible candidate remaining except Ngige and to some extent Obiano. 7. It is going to be a Two horse Race which will hugely favour Ngige. Prediction- Ngige to hold sway. Udo diri umu Anambra!!! |

It is very unfair. Just look at the lenght some folks could go to ridicule the President. A friend just called me now from Alaba that some Igbo guys are packaging a new release titled GEJ MediaChat- A night of Thousand Laughs! I think the president should just resign to preserve whatever prestigy that is still left of the Office Of The President Of the Fed Rep What do you think? |

ENEONWO: CLEVERLY, these are real posers for those who always want to ride on Ojukwu's back to power. Ojukwu must be weeping in his grave for what Peter Obi has done to his great image. And MASSOB should ask Obi what he has done about the Ezu River dead bodies, otherwise their dead members will never forgive them!Peter Obi is a criminal, I tell you! |
![]() |
Ngige needs the answers to the following questions from Peter Obi: Is it Ojukwu's legacy to disqualify a candidate from contesting because an Ijaw man gave his boys Peter Obi and Umeh the firm instruction not to let him? Is it Ojukwu's legacy for the Obi administration not to conduct local government elections after eight years? Is it Ojukwu's legacy not to have employed youths for jobs for the past eight years? Is it Ojukwu's legacy to handpick the operator of Peter Obi's account in Fidelity bank to succeed him as governor? Is it Ojukwu's legacy to order a shoot on sight of MASSOB members without any provocation? Is it Ojukwu's legacy for humans to be killed and dumped in Ezu River? Is it Ojukwu's legacy for a governor to be so underperforming that his own Igwe rejects him? Ndi Anambra, Ojukwu We know. Ikemba we revere, but tell them that Peter Obi nor APGA are surely no bearers of Ojukwu's legacies. |
Jonathan would regret all these if anything happened to Amaechi, but it would be too late because Nigerians will hold him responsible. My advice to Amaechi, please contract out your own security to a private firm as Ngige did during Obasanjo's onslaught. Buy heavy amoured vechicles and reduce your public appearances. I am very sure you would laugh last, when the chips are down. They would later come crying for you to act as a power broker. |
Mogidi: The more Hausa/Fulani insist on gaining power whatever the consequences the more our resolve strengthens to make sure it does not happen.Between Jonathan and core north, who needs 2015 by all means? |

1. Mr. President are you really on a mission to bankrupt Nigeria?? 2. Did governor Amechi sleep with your wife?? |
Are they on Fed or State Payroll? These corp members don't understand their briefs well. You are all employees of Fed Govt at the first instance, anything you receive from States is just extra and out of magnanimity of the states govts. Methinks, these infant corp members need reorientation. Smh! |
Charles Taylor lost his appeal against a war-crimes conviction on Thursday as judges confirmed a 50-year jail term against the Liberian ex-president for encouraging rebels in Sierra Leone to mutilate, rape and murder victims in its civil war. Presiding Judge George Gelaga King said Taylor had aided and abetted crimes committed by Revolutionary United Front and Armed Forces Revolutionary Council rebels, advising and assisting them while knowing well the kinds of crimes they were committing. “Their primary purpose was to spread terror. Brutal violence was purposefully unleashed against civilians with the purpose of making them afraid, afraid that there would be more violence if they continued to resist,” he said. “Governments and the international community were also afraid that unless the RUF and the AFRC demands were met, thousands more killings, mutilations, abductions and rapes of civilians would follow.” Taylor, 65, dressed in a crisp suit, sat impassively throughout the reading of the appeals judgment at the U.N.-backed Special Court for Sierra Leone in The Hague. He is the first head of state to be convicted of war crimes by an international court since the Nuremberg trials of Nazi leaders after World War Two. Taylor was also found guilty of crimes against humanity committed during the 11-year conflict in Sierra Leone, which killed some 50,000 people and left tens of thousands mutilated, their fingers, hands or limbs chopped off. Prosecutors said he used the proceeds from so-called blood diamonds mined in the conflict zone to finance his activities, which included advising and helping the rebels. “This verdict shows no person, no matter how powerful, is above the law,” said Brenda Hollis, the court’s prosecutor. In Sierra Leone’s capital Freetown, victims were jubilant. “It’s a victory for me against tyranny,” said Edward Conteh, whose hand was cut off by rebels. “I’m happy Charles Taylor is behind bars for 50 years because I’m a victim of the war.” But Morris Anyah, Taylor’s lead defense lawyer, said Taylor would not have been convicted if he had had a powerful ally. “If Charles Taylor had had a friend among the permanent members of the U.N. Security Council, this case would not have had the traction it has had,” he said, adding that Taylor had received the final verdict with great stoicism. Britain has agreed Taylor can serve his sentence at one of its maximum-security prisons but Anyah said Taylor hoped to serve his term in Finland, Sweden or Rwanda – the other three countries which have enforcement agreements with the court. Idi Amin: I hope you guys have jobs for all the police officers you caused their sack so far. They are people's fathers, mothers, brothers and breadwinners. I am not supporting corruption but how many of you have attempted to expose corrupt politicians, civil servants, bankers etc. An average Nigerian is corrupt so why emphasize on police aloneMonkey! |
