Oliver Giroud is eager to take a massive pay cut to reunite with former boss Antonio Conte at Inter Milan.

Inter Milan are close to reaching an agreement with the Chelsea striker as the Italian are prepared to offer him a two-year contract deal with an annual salary of €6.5million.


The Frenchman £135,000 weekly wages would be slashed in order to see him force a move to the seriea.

Things are falling aparts in Barcelona, as six top board members have shockingly resigned and told president Josep Maria Bartomeu they are unhappy with how the club is being currently managed, as they call for an immediate commencement of the 2021 presidential elections.



Two of the club's Vice presidents Emili Rousaud and Enrique Tombas quits their position, alongside directors Silvio Elias, Maria Teixidor, Josep Pont and Jordi Clasamiglia have all resign from their respective positions.

The six board members confirmed their resignation through a group letter, expresssing their concern over the financial implications of the coronavirus crisis for the club, and asked for the club’s leadership to be reviewed as soon as possible.

They also further criticised the handling of a controversy that rocked the club in February, when Barcelona was forced to deny hiring a firm to attack opponents of Bartomeu on social med, including its own players like Lionel Messi and Gerard Piqué.

The group letter published on Friday reads;
“We hereby want to communicate that the undersigned managers have transferred to President Bartomeu our decision to irrevocably resign from our position as managers of FC Barcelona....

Liverpool playmaker Sadio Mane is currently funding the construction of a hospital in his village Bambali in Senegal which is due to open in around six months’ time.



Two-weeks ago the philanthropist and humanitarian Sadio Mane took a commendable step, as he made a spontaneous donation of 30 millions FCFA , around €45,000 (£41,000) to his country health committee to help the fight against coronavirus.

The African footballer of the year whoose father had passed away 20 years ago because he could not receive local treatment, His sister was also born at home because there is nowhere else, has been the source of inspiration for him to invest in the huge project in Sédhiou province.





Speaking in his recent documentary with the Guardian, Mane said;

“When I was young my dad was always saying how proud he was of me,” he adds. “He was a man with a big heart. When he died, it had a big impact on me and the rest of my family. I said to myself: ‘Now I have to do my best to help my mother.’ That’s a hard thing to deal with when you are so young.”

It was confirmed earlier today, after the Pro League chiefs met by conference call, and proposed that they will not resume after being initially suspended last three weeks, which would see Belgium become the first major European league to officially abandon the 2019/20 football season due to Coronavirus outbreak.

The Jupiler Pro League which is the top flight of Belgian football, will effectively make use of the most recent standings to declare the final finish.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is considering a postponement of Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, and has given itself a deadline of four weeks to arrive at a decision.


Few days after insisting that the 2020 Olympic Games would go ahead as planned, Tokyo's Organizing Committee says that postponement is now a realistic option.


The Canadian Olympic Committee has made thier decision known early this morning and plans not send athletes to the Tokyo Games this summer, as they become the first country to threaten such a move in the face of the coronavirus pandemic, calling for the Games to be postponed for a year.
