Family › Re: Churches And Wedding Wahala. What Is Your Take On This? by Cmanforall: 9:34am On Mar 19, 2015
SmartFaces:
She she had been in this relationship for one year, he proposed, everything followed to their traditional marriage last months. But his church says they can't live together until the white wedding is done. He is not buoyant or ready for a white wedding now but has carried out all rights both legal and traditional as they both agreed. what should they do?
The question now is, at what point is marriage recognized and honoured?
Is it at the point of...
(A) agreement between both spouse?
(B) Introduction (both families meeting and knowing each other)?
(C) Traditional Marriage?
(D) Court Marriage? Or the mighty
(E) White Wedding?

For me i think these churches complicates issues.
please i need sincere judgments and opinion, no insults or name calling.
We are all here to learn.
I guess it's Assemblies.

It is not easy to do all the traditional rites and still continue with the white wedding.

During a Campaign rally in Rivers state, I was wondering how Tonto Dike's speech will change someone's mind into voting her candidate of choice. Likewise others.

I wonder if these Celebs even have PVCs. Cos most of them might have been out of the country during registration. #justsaying.
Politics › Celebrities And Campaigns: What's Your Take? by Cmanforall(op): 10:07pm On Mar 17, 2015
You can call it C & C.

This is the era of campaigns. The time our political office holders seek for votes. They won't discriminate from the poor, the needy nor the physically challenged. Every Nigerian's vote count(especially if you've got your PVC). One of their means for canvassing for votes is to use celebrities(nollywood stars, Music stars, comedians etc) during campaigns trying to convince the general populace to vote them into power(after which to visit them go be wahala).

Every Nigerian has his right to support any political party or politician but where I get a little confused is on this Celebs. And I would like you guys to err your views on this:

1) Do they(Celebs) really convince ordinary Nigerian to change his mind into voting their candidate?

2) Do their fans also follow them to support same candidate(even when they know the opponent is a better candidate)?

3) Are their some Celebs(nollywood especially) we here really appreciate as they don't partake openly in these campaign fever(doing busybody, lol)? I'm yet to see Olu Jacobs involved anyway.

4) Is it right for these Celebs(especially Actors(resses)) to stick to their work and improve the quality of what they dish out to Nigerians, then vote for their candidate on election day(rather than parading in every rally)?

Please, fellow Nairalanders, your opinions are needed.

Thank you....

#I hope these Naija Celebs storm into this thread and read people's view.

oakson:
In the following lines you'd be exposed to how to attract, woo, and marry ladies in some Nigerian churches.

Get a seat and let's roll...

MOUNTAIN OF FIRE

Finally you must have cast out at least 10 demons from your life or anybody's!

N.B: You can't Test Before Payment(TBP) because demons would expose you.

DEEPER LIFE
Hmmmm.... ***clears throat***

You must know the bible from pali to pali, sell all your designers and get yourself some old skool shirts and trousers.

Change your LCD to black and white, your home theatre to video cassette player(because brethren may come for inspection)!

You must have the same speech pattern like the general himself (baba I hail o), with good command of the English language.

Academic qualification must be minimum Bsc or its equivalent! [if you no go school your type dey dere too]

It is not capital intensive as there would be no need for cinemas, vacation, picnics, night outs and diamond ring for the 'will you marry me' question!

Just easter and december retreat is okay for the relationship.

Above all you must be willing to use your head carry eba during retreats and very humble to the core

Health › Re: The Real Reason Nigerian Hospitals Ask For Police Report In Trauma Patients by Cmanforall: 6:20pm On Mar 11, 2015
babyosisi:
You folks think the average roadside clinic can handle a gun shot wound or accident victim.

They can't help the patients much even if they wanted to,they don't have the necessary equipment needed to do that, neither do they have the expertise for the most part.
Even here in the USA ,severe trauma and gun shot patients don't just end up at the nearest hospital and even when they do it's just for stabilization before they are taken by mediflight to trauma centers equipped to handle such.

You folks are demanding too much from people who have no knowledge,no experience and no training in handling things like this.

Most of these doctors probably just have an MBBS and nothing more

The facilities have no in house labs,X-ray or scan machines,no blood bank let alone more sophisticated equipment needed to stabilize such patients and certainly cannot perform the life saving surgeries these patients need.

They operate with much limitation, truth be told

Most are actually glorified dispensaries

The police report is just a way to send them away to go die elsewhere and not in their facility

The most they can do is put a drip in the patients arm if they can find a visible vein and watch him die

The average Nigerian so-called hospital can't do much for you beyond malaria and appendicitis if you're lucky

Let us remember the plight of DJDOLA ,two months in a Lagos hospital and millions of naira and they couldn't even give a definitive diagnosis and used our friend for experiment ,treating him for everything else and making up diagnosis along the way while billing the patient and smiling to the bank.

That should be an eye opener
.
And what is your conclusion?

Culture › Re: Why You Should Marry From Nsukka, Enugu State by Cmanforall: 4:32pm On Mar 08, 2015
Vig86:
If you are a man that hates seeing your girlfriend having a close hug with men you have to marry an Nsukka girl for 100% fidelity.

This id how it works:

* Single ladies can flirt with any man they like both married and single men but once they(ladies) are married it is over. The very "car" can never go to any other mechanic except the family mechanic (husband).

* Married men can sleep with any single lady except married ones. Married people from Nsukka can not sleep with any married woman even if the woman is from Congo and married to French man.

* Single men can sleep with any girl all over the world since the girl is not married. Single men can never sleep with married women irrespective of where she is from.

* Married Women sleep with their husbands ONLY.
The punishment for offenders ranges from DEATH to MADNESS. It is our culture and I love that. Some people say it is harsh but why should you sleep with another man when you are married. I am a christian but I strictly believe in this culture.

I encourage every potential suitor that is looking for a happy home to come and get hold of our beautiful girls. If you are tired of suspecting your girl friend then it is time to let go and have a suspicion-free marriage.
IT IS NOT EVERY PART IN NSUKKA THAT PRACTISE THIS.
Nsukka gals are timid. Sometimes one get confused of their tribe. Are the Ibos?
