Meanwhile, some Doctors specialize in Laboratory medicine and so can do the needful in ur above example. #GetInformed. Awaiting for the chaos that will erupt between JOHESU members... like Lab. Everything boils down to money. I think there's a selfish interest here. Anytime they embarking on a strike action, they must compare with Drs.

Like someone said, work may still go on in hospitals. But the fact is whenever they are on strike, they lockup all the patient's folders; Remove fuse box, so power supply to the wards are interrupted. They sometimes go to the extent of switching off the Generator and locking the Gen house.
All these their actions is not reflective of the strike, rather it is an act of wickedness.
Doctors can treat patients if they'll just go on holiday('strike') without altering other things as usual.
If afta prescribing drugs for the patient, you write it out, they'll buyfrom pharmacy stores, usually around the hospital.
If its investigations, Drs in the laboratory medicine will do that. If its one that can't be done, specimens will be sent to outside lab.
So I think their extended act to frustrate the doctors work whenever they are embarking on a strike action is condemnable.

What evidence did you need? Somebody that abscond from service, what about the clearance letter from the place he did his primary assignment, will they clear him for the fact that he abandoned his assignment, how will you issue him a certificate, and if he has no case to answer why did he abscond?

Its very unfortunate for him as young as he is to have carried out such act thinking that he is smart, this is an act of criminal and years to come it will be used against him, considering the fact that he seconded.

He might have completed his primary assignment and can get his final clearance from his PPA. This is possible if he was posted to a school, and the said period of his absence, schools were on vacation. His absence can be linked to health issue(#justSaying)...

That's why I said the guy will go scotfree. As you pointed out, 'its the Corpers involved'. These corp members will soon disperse, just 2days from now and tha is it. The pressure on him reduced. And a corp member involved trying to pressurize because of abt 15k after service will be tiring, so, likely to give up. They'll just be abusing him. That's all.

In the court Of Law, what proof will NYSC tender to show he was given the money. Any signed document? What if he says it was an empty promise from those politicians?...... The fact in this issue is that the guy will go scot-free. Now, these 144 corp members will soon disperse to their various abode after tomorrow. The pressure on him to release the money will lessen.

If the pressure gets high from a particular corp member, among the 144, he MIGHT settle that one.

The executive governor of Imo state, through its Ministry of youths and sports have asked for N1000(one thousand naira) from the youths in order to get an ID card.
These youths are under the umbrella of 'Imo Youth must Work' program. It will be recalled that the executive governor, Chief Owelle Rochas Okorocha , created this program to function as its name entails with a salary of N20000 per month(of which its payment has been a serious issue).
The issue is if the governor collects N1000 from over 25000 youths, he will be making about N25,000,000 from graduates seeking for job. Is this fair? Where is ID CARD done for a thousand naira.

If Rochas will come on air to promise this same youths five hundred million, can he still come on air to voice out how he's tasking the same youths N1000?

meanwhile to the youths, the 5hundred million naira na 'Audio', they never see am.
