To be honest, Tinubu is redefining politics in Nigeria. His administration is taking an inclusive politics and governance to empower the underserved, a strategy we never witnessed since 1999 when democracy returned to this country.

If not for advent of internet one would not know that such things do happen in those so called "Advanced Nations" too. The mainstream international media like CNN and co won't report this.

Cassel is the second former state House Democrat to leave the party this month.

“As a proud Jewish woman, I have been increasingly troubled by the Democratic Party’s failure to unequivocally support Israel and its willingness to tolerate extreme progressive voices that justify or condone acts of terrorism,” Cassel said. “I’m constantly troubled by the inability of the current Democratic Party to relate to everyday Floridians.”

“I can no longer remain in a party that doesn’t represent my values,” she continued.

Her decision followed a party switch from state Rep. Susan Valdés (R), who left the Democratic party after losing a bid to become the chair of the Hillsborough County Democratic Party. Valdés said she did not want to spend what would be her final two years in the state Legislature “being ignored” in a caucus with leaders expecting her to ignore her community’s needs.

Republicans already hold supermajorities in both chambers of the Florida Legislature, though Valdés and Cassel’s moves add to the growing GOP dominance in a state that less than a decade ago was still considered competitive.

In the post, Trump called on “disillusioned” Democrats, suggesting they should join the GOP.

“I would further like to invite other Disillusioned Democrats to switch Parties, and join us on this noble quest to Save our Country and, Make America Great Again – GREATER THAN EVER BEFORE. THANK YOU HILLARY!” Trump wrote.

These people (Zinox MD and his cohort) stole, frustrated and together with the police oppressed Mr. Benjamin and almost shattered his company (Citadel Computers) for years despite the fraud they committed against his company. EFFC and office of Attorney General before Lateef Fagbemi also contributed to his maltreatment.

This that the AGF Lateef Fagbemi did will caution dubious businessmen and their cohorts. It will help restore the confidence of both local and international investors that a fraud committed against them will not go unchallenged.

Tinubu should please open the border atleast we Nigerians can see cheaper rice to buy instead of begging for rice.

A bag of rice used to be 7500 and since Buhari closed the border to help local farmers rice now unaffordable to common Nigerians.

Border is not the major issue here but greed and love of freebies. Even when fuel was 65 naira per liter, people were still scooping fuel from a fallen tanker despite repeated calamities about such incidences.

The major problem is that majority of Nigerians like freebies too much. To imagine people scooping fuel from a falling tanker days after such incident burnt many people confirms this assertion

It is part of the government deliberate plan to halt it through fx exchange rate. I have a sense that it's government deliberate plan to keep the exchange rate high. If not deliberate, why would the government set dollar rate at 1500 for the budget if truly they wanted it low.

If this was Africa, I wonder what our oversabi people would have been saying by now. To them everything done in Africa is wrong and they are quick to reference worship the so called "advanced nation" and call Africa derogatory name.

Until recently, majority of us believed that the idea of democracy being practiced in America was all perfect. Africans have called our Democratic practices in the continent different derogatory name at different times especially in Nigeria, but with access to different news platforms these days, we have been able to see that a convicted politician was elected, outgoing administration was given pardon to their associates, outgoing administration signing an agreement with labour union to work remotely for the next 5 more years and so on. Those are shock for me which I didn't know happens in American politics too.

Cutting production cut does not necessarily mean reducing the quality of the product. Cost could be cut on equipment raw materials purchases and labour, etc and this would reflect on the overall cost of production and sales.
