If this is true, what a good development! |
cucumbar:I am not disappointed, no-sense from your comment/attack. You just wanted to express your frustration by attacking anyone making sensible comments. |
One key thing he mentioned that was never taken note of is that the FG has paid back over 30Trillion Naira he owes CBN. |
Atiku could have finally played into Tinubu's hand with this letter. With this request, Tinubu could take advantage and influence the National Assembly members to approve it and make the six-year term starting from his tenure which could extend his tenure to 2029. |
cucumbar:Give us your own Nonsense talk now and let's see if we can establish a sense out of it |
Today's Independence Day speech (if he is not lying) made me establish that it is a deliberate plan by the FG to have the dollar at the current price and any other price they may wish for the dollar. I made this point due to Tinubu's speech that the FG has paid all its Ways and Means loans of over 30T. The question is how did they pay it if not through the increase in dollar rate, remember that the government is the highest earner and seller of dollars. I can predict that the dollar price will come down again when the government is satisfied with the level of industrial development of the country and hoarders of dollars will cry then. However, I advise (not professional advice though) that people having dollars now should use them for machine purchases, set up industries in Nigeria and purchase local raw materials to take mass advantage of the government's influence on dollars at this time. Our government seems to have moved from being a socialist to a socio-capitalist now. |
CorrectionFLuid:Pele o, Ignorantist! |
This is not bad news. I will praise the government of the day for the policy, if our next most imported goods are industrial machines. You won't believe that apart from petroleum products, vehicles is our next most imported items as at 2023 data. |
I wish Gen. marwa (Rtd) could head EFCC or be appointed a minister in a key sector of Nigeria. |
Sue him for infringement of your privacy and call for a percentage shares of every sales! |
Good development if Nigeria government pays it regulatory roles well. Bad development if Nigeria government still allows importation of everything into Nigeria because they may decide to produce cheaper at other countries and import it to Nigeria for consumers at higher prices. For me, I am suspecting FMN have a ulterior motives, if not so why buying minority shareholders stake out? It means they want to make the profit alone and don't want to share their records and other plans with other 75k public shareholders owing less than 37% of their shares. |
Realtruth2023:The parallel market will always be high, no matter what, but the quantity demand at the market should be low, that should be the ultimate target. |
maasoap:Mr. Know-it-all, If every loan repayment is automatic, then why the term bad loan, restructured loan, etc? |
It's a good development. Every citizen should just monitor what their regional commission budget is and ensure full implementation |
Yemi is still on the right track. He was systemically increasing the interest to discourage fx exchange speculation, want those who borrow money to buy fx to pay more through interest rate and what them to return loan as soon as possible but I wish the point base could be greater than what they can make when speculating on fx |
I know that something are needed no matter the situation, but if state house needs 2.9 billion vehicle at this time is what I don't know. |
RenaissanceGuy:The poster is the mischief-maker that was not the headline Sahara reporters gave to it. By the way, the topic is highly misleading. |
NgeneUkwenu:Ha! haba nah!! |
In all honesty, wike was right in so many words he said. What people don't realize is that we are now fully running a capitalist economy and no more socialist economy but government needs to up its game in regulatory function because many Nigerians consumers are still very novice to understand this system and venerable to this system while the capitalist/business owners/manufacturers are already taking their flesh on people's ignorance. |
America is afraid of African liberation propagated through Africa Stream Network. I hope this is not a way to call dog (Africa Stream) a bad name in order to hang it |
Let them continue! |
As much as believe that we are moving from consumption to production economy, the key performance indicator I am looking for is that highest importation should be machinery. |
See what "it's all about money" mentality led her now |
If they are spiritual products, then they should stop collecting Physical/fiat currency but spiritual currency-free (remember as Jesus said freely you were given, freely you should give). As long as you are collecting Nigerians money and the product is consumed by Nigerians, it is and must be subject to NAFDAC regulations. |
Let them go and get their petroleum products independently |
The angle of 3D and real pictures are really different for all expect for the Marina's own that is manageable. |
This should not be acceptable for international milk producing company. It is understandable if this FFMP is reserved for only Nigerian owned company. |
The economy hulabblo that we currently face is extravaganted by the capitalist. In the practice of our mixed economy, we have moved more to a capitalist economy side than socialist that was in the past and capitalist economy needs seriously regulation which our government is really lagging behind. We should expect more of this until our regulators are serious with their jobs. |
The day I know the security of this country is very porous was when I traveled at night along Lagos - Ibadan - Jebba road and observed a lot of brand new motorcycles (much more than 700) rode by guys on that expressway heading towards the Northern part of Nigeria without anyone checking or questioning where hundreds of bike will be rode to the north when it was cheaper to transport it with trucks. They were not going in groups but in small numbers so as not to notice their huge number on the road. |
All these are to trick innocent buyers to buy their shares but some of us did not forget how their founders made money off people who were thought they were investing their money Anyone falling for the tricks of the banks' shares again could be called compound fools. Let their founders viz-a-viz largest shareholder go and bring out the money they made from fx during Elemeife to recapitalize their banks. |
I disagree but the experts are not the ones to use the presidential jet but the president. In order to have the president mind at rest, let him get what he believes he needs which is this second-handed jet he just got. |
With this headline, if NLC carries it out, they need to be charged by EFCC for Economic crime. |
