I don google tire. All I get is a software that can help protect files but can still be bypassed. I really want something rock-solid, that of course doesn't disable USB Flash etc. Something that goes undetected, at least to the clients eyes. |
Hi y'all, I was just thinking of developing a web-based application for a client, now there's a great challenge. This app is supposed to run on the LAN of the company and of course this means we'll be setting up a web server locally. The issue is this; My client happens to have good knowledge about computing and so I want to protect my work from being copied to another system (maybe his friend's own) cos if this happens, I obviously won't be able to resell the app. Have you come across this challenge too and how did you get over it. Please share. |

I checked out previous post on this topic but that was 2006 and I believe there are faster and better ways of getting this service. Now I am looking for solutions on how I can get this short codes like 12345 for any mobile networks. The Idea is that interested participants text say "REGISTER to 12345" and they are charged some say N100. Does anybody know how it all works and how I can get them. I really don't have to go to each GSM provider. Do I? |
Truely, I was working on an SMS system. I found out that most bulk SMS service in Nigeria are expensive so I'll now be using a service provider in India (www.routesms.com). You'ld have to do the bank transfer stuff. I really don't mind cos it's more cost effective. |
@kehers, Exactly what I wanted. All problems now solved. Thanks y'all. |
@yawa, You can say that again ![]() However, there's another problem ![]() Now I can send the mails to emails in my database. But the server fixes the "from" field of the email sent as 'domain@eclipse.websitewelcome.com'. How do I change this to something like "Our Support Team". Get what I mean? |
