This is freaky but I'd share it nonetheless.

When I meet people for the first time something from within tell me their names. Its far from guesswork, it comes effortlessly.

Besides, I can look at someone in a pix and tell their name.
My younger sister came back from NYSC camp in 2011 and she was showing me her snapshots and I looked at a lady in the pictures, I said her name is so-so, she was shocked. She asked me if I knew her before I said no.

A colleague at my former place of work bought samsung galaxy whatever and I was admiring the hot gadget. To test myself, I went to pictures.
Saw a pose of him and wifey. I called him and said "this is your wife and her name is so-so (Mind you, I resumed in the company just two days before and I didn't know this guy from adam, save that we were working on a machine together). Dude was lost for words. I told him its a gift and he said omo, I go need your gifting for sports betting o. We laughed it off.

A classmate of mine was heavy and due for delivery anytime soon. One friday night I had the urge to write a poem (I do free-verse poetry). The title was clear "STILLBIRTH" and I wrote it in less than 5 minutes (very unusual for a lazy poet like moi)

Fast forward to monday. The HOC announced that the lady (classmate) had a stillbirth on friday night that we should go pay her a visit at her house after lectures. I shook my head and muttered "Oh God who am I, I need a clue".

I was in school and my mum called me that my big sis had put to bed that two days time is christening ceremony. We had just finished exam. So I left school the second day. The journey is a day plus. By the time I got home they have concluded the whole ceremony and it was late at night. I went to her room, saw the baby.
A big boy he was! She wanted to say his name I said "no need" she said "why" and I replied "cos I know already". She said then mama had told u I said no one told me then she said "oya what's his name I said "Abraham". She asked mama the second day and she told her she didn't inform me of the baby's name, she was shocked beyond words.

Last year, I went to a cyber cafe on the Lagos Island, where I was living before. I do go there to charge my laptop, power bank and phones. The owner of the place is very friendly.

So, as I sat down watching a movie on my laptop. the movie was an Arnold Schwazzenegar thriller. A guy came in plugged in a BB beside me and stepped out just as rapid as he came in. A small still voice (more of a whisper) said to me "that dude's fone might be stolen, keep watch). But silly me was engrossed in the movie. Seconds later, another guy came in. Saw his figure at the socket, he plugged a phone then went out. I assumed it was the former guy.

Few minutes later, the first guy came and raised alarm "my fone's being stolen" I looked there, no phone at the socket. Thank God I plugged my gadget elsewhere. Police came and searched everyone.
I walked home with guilt in my heart. Knowing that I could have saved the day but for my insensitivity!

MORE
I added a lady on bbm. We always had a smooth chat. A day like that we were chatting and I said babe, why are you pensive. She said "I am not pensive" (FYI, we were having a cool chat, her pm, dp and chats suggest nothing of such). I went ahead and told her why she was pensive, she said how did u knw. I said "I just know noni" she said "well, you're a freak" she deleted me. Wasn't surprised a bit!

ANOTHER ONE
I chatted a lady on the office chat incessantly and there was no reply. She chatted back later apologizing that she went to eat. I said "and it took that long, na kilimanjaro you go chop". She was like "hw did you know, I went with a friend". I was actually joking with the fact that kilimanjaro sounds far-away a place but she actually went to eat there. Anybody knows Kilimanjaro at Oniru? Close to Law school bus stop?

I can go on and on. I've learnt to live with my abnormalities and eccentricities, that's what makes me unique; my over sensitivity.
If I'm dating a girl and she's cheating, I'd know quite easily no matter how she cover her tacks.
More why, I'm dating myself now, lolz...
My life.
can. you guess my name?

Car Talk › Electric Shock From Car Door. Have You Experienced It? by cmpunk(op): 6:39pm On Jan 11, 2015
well, I have been experiencing for some time. But it intensified this harmattan period.

I googled and the result was interesting. here is a quoted search result.

" Why have I suddenly
started getting electric shocks
from my cars?
April 11, 2013 4:55 AM Subscribe
Every now and then, there will be a few
weeks when I get electric shocks as I'm
getting out of my cars. Normally they're just
a little surprising, but the last few weeks
I've been getting steadily stronger shocks
that actually hurt / tingle for a while
afterwards. What's going on?
So...
* this only happens to me, not my wife -
either as a driver or a passenger
* it doesn't seem to happen in other
people's cars (although I'm not a regular
passenger in other cars)
* I can avoid the shock if I take hold of the
car door before I put my foot on the
ground.
The normal answers I can find online
involve clothing rubbing on seat fabrics and
causing a static buildup. But I'm a geek
who always wears the same brand of
trainers and denim jeans, and who
considers owning 30 different colours of the
same brand of 100% cotton polo shirt to be
enough variation in fashion.
So, it can't be as simple as "your clothes
are rubbing on the car seat" or I'd always
get shocked.
What's happening, and is there anything
else I can do to stop these shocks?
It's unlikely it matters, but the two cars are
different sizes, ages and manufacturers
(diesel 407 Pug and petrol Toyota Corolla)
but I service both of them myself, so they
may not have had some little widget
replaced or dodad greased."

So. Has anyone experienced it..

Plasma TVs are just about
dead

By James O'Toole @jtotoole July 3, 2014:
1:03 PM ET

It's the end of the line for Samsung's plasma TVs

NEW YORK (CNNMoney)

The plasma TV business is fading to
black.

Samsung confirmed Thursday that it was
shutting down its plasma TV business "due to
changes in market demands," choosing
instead to focus on curved and ultra-high-
definition models that use LED technology.

The news was first reported by Reuters.
Samsung's announcement follows news last
year that Panasonic had decided to stop
making plasma panels. Seoul-based LG, the
last major international plasma TV
manufacturer, is also planning on shutting
down plasma production, according to South
Korea's Yonhap News Agency.

Manufacturers are increasingly looking to LED
and LCD screens as they develop the next
generation of TV sets. Veronica Thayer, a
consumer electronics analyst with IHS, said
the last shipments of plasma TVs for American
retail shelves will come by the end of this year.

There are still a few Chinese companies
producing plasma TVs, Thayer added, but
those too will likely be gone by 2016.
5 gadgets that changed Amazon
Plasma TVs are composed of pixels filled with
gas that light up in different colors when
they're hit with an electrical current. LED and
LCD televisions uses screens made of liquid
crystals that are lit up from behind to create
images.

Plasma TVs offered what many considered to
be the best picture quality on the market in
the past few years, albeit at higher prices than
LCDs. They gained favor thanks to their
brighter images, warmer tones and wider
viewing angles.
But plasma screens are now being supplanted
at the high end of the market by LED
technology, which offers comparable picture
quality on thinner screens that use less power.
IHS reported last month that plasma TV
shipments dropped 16% globally in the first
quarter versus a year prior, and that they "are
on their way out of the industry permanently."

chorus:

Lord we are sorry
We’ve turned around and gone astray
Your trust for us we have betrayed
Your power we don’t recorgnize
Your Lordship we have all dispise

We cannot pretend
We all now repent
Forgive us Lord we pray

Bring down Your Glory…
Bring down Your Glory…

Solo 1
Where is all the power
We have heard about
Your glory and protection
For the ones you died for
Something must be truelly wrong
Please Jesus what can it be?

I hear Your voice speaking to my conscience
The church has turned from You and trusting in their doctrine
Giving praise to people and never talking of your power

Lord we are sorry

Chorus:

Solo 2
Your Church is now depending on her power
Trusting in her wisdom
Thinking she can change the world
We need to reach the people, but the power must come from You

Lord we are sorry

Chorus:

We need Your Mercy Lord (bring down your glory)
We need Your Forgiveness Lord (bring down your glory)
We need Your Revival (bring down your glory)
We need Your Power (bring down Your glory)
