Career / Re: Top 5 High Paying Side Hustles For Working Class People by cnc(m): 3:00pm On Mar 16, 2018

Real Estate gives about 30 – 40% commissions on sales, then you can imagine your percentage when you sell a product worth millions of Naira.

Who will give such percentage... Haba! Don't mislead people.

hubby should be fulfilling the aspect of the child school fees so as to give you time to save up or better still you guys should collabo. But don't despise days of little beginning and don't relax there cause that is not the final destination for you. Goodluck

I think it will still be a LIABILITY on the family.

As her husband, I'll rather pay her the N27,000 monthly until she gets a REAL job because She'll still have a monthly expense of N9,000 for transport and N6,000 for lunch... Leaving her with just N15,000 monthly.

Will put my baby in the schools creche. When they close will be with my baby till the secondary section closes. Inside the 30k my TP is like 300 everyday, plus lunch like #200 plus 27k for my baby's creche for the term. . I'm still thinking of what actually I should do.

Tp: N300 x 30 days = N9,000
Lunch: N200 x 30 days = N6,000
Creche: N27,000

Total monthly expense = N 42,000

Total monthly Salary = N 30,000

My dear, U'll actually be spending an extra N12,000 every month. What is there to think about.

That's not a job, it's a LIABILITY.

Education / Re: Where Are Our First-class Graduates And Professors? by cnc(m): 9:11am On Oct 02, 2017
The answer to all your questions lie in your last paragraph...

Rapmoney:
For those folks who love throwing stones at people due to hidden tribal, religious, family or pure blind sentiments, I write this post without any bias. If you have a first-class graduate or a professor in your family or you are one, don't take this personal, even if I know that your sentiments are irrelevant and remove nothing from or add nothing to the basic truth!

From independence to our present day, Nigeria as a country has been churning out first-class graduates from different universities that are scattered across the country like the creeks of Calabar. Often times, we are greeted with news headlines on newspapers, television, radio and online media such as: '45 Bagg First-Class From Migwor University' or '38 Graduate With First-Class From University of Vrendo'. Now, I ask, where are these first-class graduates? What have they been able to contribute to and achieve in science, art, technology and other facets of life? Is it that their 'intelligence' was only expressible on thick papers called certificates?

How come we still can't manufacture wrist-watches even with all our first-class graduates and professors in Engineering?

How come we have the raw materials to construct roads, yet we need some Arab fellows with a pass in National Diplomas to supervise road construction projects in Nigeria?!!! Where are our first-class graduates in Civil Engineering?

Where are all the project works that were defended in school before graduation? Probably resting on those old dusty cockroach and rat-infested shelves as usual

Our agricultural productivity is very low in many areas, yet we have been churning our first-class graduates and professors from various faculties of Agriculture in different tertiary institutions (universities and polytecnics).

Most private universities in Nigeria award first-class degrees as if they were oranges, kuli-kuli, biscuits or bubble gums. Each time these universities dish out their usual rounds of first-class degrees, it reminds me of how our aunties and uncles used to hand us many sweets, biscuits and gums during their children's birthday parties in the early 80's. To be sincere, I've met some first-class graduates from these schools who didn't even know the main difference between a university and a polytecnic. They couldn't impress me!

Most of the indigenous products we use in this country are the handwork and brainchild of folks who obtained technical knowledge from technical institutions and other sources within and outside Nigeria.

Those that studied abroad and bagged first-class degrees and the professors who were tutored abroad usually come back home with no significant contribution in science, art, technology and other areas, irrespective of the fact that most of them studied under scholarships or grants.

Until the educational system in Nigeria is over-hauled, we are going to witness more and more half-baked and quarter-baked first-class holders and professors who are products of a system that promotes mediocrity at the expense of value and quality.

The government of Poland spends about 3% of its annual budget on RESEARCH, just research alone (NOT EDUCATION). Don't we have so-called professors in government? What is their significance?

You did what u feel was right @ that moment...

Your sister inlaw was a classy young woman too I must say, she left when she was supposed to..Maybe She never knew her coming will be a problem, maybe she felt her sister will sort u out...But she got it wrong.. Some ladies would have stayed even when they knew they were not welcomed..

If u have a younger bro, or Sis, just expect a cold welcome from your wife anytime they step into your house..it will never be forgotten...

U mistakenly broke an unwritten code that most women held with high esteem especially from the Eastern part of Nigeria....They always want to show that they are comfortable in their husband's house and their relatives are welcome to stay for sometime..I guess that was why she was mad @ u

Just say u were sorry bro.. with a peace offering like earring, or perfume etc.

Errm, what exactly is he saying sorry for? A woman that has no respect for her 'soon to be' husband isn't ready to be a wife. Even if she had issues with his actions, her reactions were all shades of WRONG... RUBBISH...
Career / Re: Help!!! My Colleague Is Stealing Our Company's Money And Changing Records by cnc(m): 7:37am On Jul 18, 2017
jguy007:
On the 5th of July 2017, i resumed work at a prestige hotel in Ikeja through a man i met at a car wash while i was washing cars for stipend to earn a living. The day i met him, i just finished washing a car and i worked up to him and requested an audience, and then told him i was looking for a job because am a computer engineering graduate trying a make a living, and all this took place sometime around February. He agreed to help and I, without giving much though didn't bother him anymore cause i was already tired of telling people i needed a job when i already know jobs are hard to come by these days. But surprisingly he came looking for my with the MD of a hotel and (devil is a lie) i wasnt at the car wash that moment,i went to see someone. He waited and waited and at some point was angry, then he left only for me to return few minutes later to be told he came looking for me...i was mad
*******************fast forward to 2weeks back*************************
He called one early morning and asked to meet me at the car wash so i could go see the MD that morning and i did. She interviewed me for few minutes, collected my C.V and asked me when i would like to resume work.So eager i said the next day and she was fine with it.Ever since that day i never saw her again but i was going to work and enjoying it too
**************************4days later*******************************
While on my shift, i made some sales and then early that morning,on my off day( cus i sleep in the office and handover sales made earlier the next day to my colleague) between 2am and 3am, two guest worked in to book a room. I assigned rooms to them and they paid me cash. I then handed the money to my colleague that was on duty that morning and went home only to return the following and discover while going thru the records that she only recorded one out of the two rooms i sold for her that morning. I searched the whole books for that room but couldn't find a trace of it, then i knew something was up. I never confronted her about it but i just decided to watch if twas gonna happen again.
**************************4days later after that*******************************
A similar thing occurred and this time so obvious. Four friends came in early in the morning on my off day and one of them paid cash for two rooms which i allocated to them and again gave the money to the same colleague before leaving that morning. On returning on my shift, she wrote down the two rooms sha but wrote 1POS and 1CASH, which was a lie cause i was the one that collected cash from them and they never paid thru POS.
**************************back to present day*******************************
Have been thing of confronting her directly but i cant cause i noticed too that she isnt alone in it, the manager is in with her and they are kind of close(i noticed it on the first day of resumption)
I also thought of telling the man that made me get the job cause later i found out that the MD is his wife, which was a shocker to me cause till now i didn't submit an application letter or bring in any guarantor before i got the job.
I don't wanna betray his trust either cause this might be a test to me
PLease friends what do i do?
NB: AM SURE THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME ITS HAPPENING....SHE OR SHOULD I SAY THEY HAVE BEEN DOING IT BEFORE I CAME. I DON'T HAVE PROOF OF THAT BUT I GUESS SO CUS NOW THEY THINK AM DUMB SINCE I DIDN'T NOTICE THE FIRST FRAUD ,WHICH I DID BUT KEPT QUIET THAT'S WHY THEY COMMITTED ANOTHER.

Tell the MD and suggest she sends about 4 of her friends on a particular night and see how it plays out...
Then the hotel should install CCTV cameras...

Education / Re: Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Or Physiotherapy? by cnc(m): 10:03am On Jul 06, 2017
poyebad:

I appreciate your submission nextprince. It's just spot on. As a bright student, my brother believes medicine suits him, and especially because medicine is prestigious. However, he is (we all are) being forced to reconsider that, with so many doctors being unable to get job in the country. I don't know what the situation is for pharmacy... I don't know many pharmacists, except that some said pharmacy as a course is a lot tougher than medicine. That challenge is what is now making him consider pharmacy as a good, if not better option. But I'm concerned if he will be able to make a good life as a pharmacist.
MLS is medical laboratory science; i think the guys that carry poo and urine. But if provides better living for him, why not?

If he ensures to be really good at whatever he does, he'll make a good living from it. He should study whatever course interests him most... The fact that there are unemployed doctors doesn't make him a potential one. There is no hospital that will refuse the free services of a doctor, with that he would get the required experience and if he's good, the hospital will do everything to retain him. That's if he finds it difficult getting a job on graduation. Most times we want things handed over to us on a platter... that rarely happens in real life.
But trust me, if he's determined and as brilliant as u say, he'll do just fine irrespective of what he studies.

I have said it before, and i'll say it again. Anything after ilorin and before bakassi penisula is biafran territory. Anybody that complains after actualization will find himself facing a firing squad. Whether you're yoruba, anioma, owo, egba, efik, tiv idoma or igala. It doesn't matter. Soon and very soon, you will all be called biafrans. Anyone that can't bear this reality can go to H**l.

You sound so immature to be married. Why you asking us the questions you're meant to ask her?
It's like only dumb people come on nl. So watching porn now means someone can not have strong principles and morals such as being faithful. If she was going to cheat trust me she wouldn't need porn and self stimulation, she'd be getting laid which means no need for the porn.
Instead of handling your business like a real man your here all emotional like a mitch!

Right on point jare... the guy is even annoying me sef. Such guys don't deserve honesty at all.

Life is simple we just complicate things.

Instead of having a relationship with him in your head you could just speak to him. All this we are so close crap yet you can't tell him what's important. Lol! Us women are soo crazy! I love where you blamed him for doing something he doesn't even know he is doing! When will we quit this victim card we pull out whenever we are emotionally confused! Tell the man what's eating you up! Tell him with a smile that you need a little space to clear your head because your friendship is making you feel a connection that might not be there.

Ps for future reference! Men and women who are attracted to each other can never be friends! Maybe If there were no feelings especially from you because you are the one who complicated things here by befriending a man you love.

Stop being a coward if he's such a great friend he will understand. Although your relationship /friendship sounds a bit fake. Anyway, do the right thing and not the easy thing that's my advice to you.

God bless u jare... u took d words right out of my mouth.
