Interesting read

Natalie Bencivenga-

Donald Trump and his allies are seizing on the murder of Charlie Kirk to launch a sweeping and dangerous attack on progressive organizations. In the days following Kink's death/senior target.

Their claim? That these groups fund political without aES
shred of evidence. Let's be honest about what this is: an attempt to use a national tragedy as cover for a political purge. The Trump administration is now openly targeting organizations like the Open Society Foundations, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and the Ford Foundation all of which have long histories of supporting civil rights, democracy, and social justice. and now, suddenly, these are the enemies? By smearing these institutions and tying them falsely to violence, Trump's team is laying the legal and political groundwork for a full-scale crackdown on dissent, activism, and free speech.
This isn't just reckless. It's authoritarian and it should alarm every American who cares about democracy.
And it gets worse.

Today, JD Vance - the Vice President used his official government office to host The Charlie Kirk Show (Let that sink). The same vance who's been desperately chasing kirk's audience for years. The same Vance who gets booed at his own public appearances is now stepping into Kirk’s seat, using his death to elevate his own platform and cash in on Kirk's following.

A sitting Vice President, using a murder and a podcast to boost his brand and line his pockets. This isn't leadership, it's opportunism in its rawest, most shameless form. They're not mourning Charlie Kirk; they're monetizing him. What we're watching isn't justice. It's a power grab wrapped in a podcast." It's shameful on every level.

Is unemployment amongst blacks in America within the norm?

I mean the word out there is black people are inherently less qualified than white people. Even with same or higher education and more years of experience, you’re less qualified because you’re bald. If you get the job it just be DEI because DEI certainly means giving job to unqualified black people. So not surprising

“Free speech absolutists “
BREAKING: The Washington Post has FIRED its last full-time Black opinion columnist for criticizing Charlie Kirk…by posting HIS OWN STATEMENTS. After Kirk's assassination, Karen Attiah, an eleven-year veteran of the Post, wrote a thread on Bluesky condemning political violence and criticizing how America shrugs off gun deaths and gives compassion for white men who commit political violence.

“I did my journalistic duty, reminding people that despite President Trump’s partisan rushes to judgement, no suspect or motive had been identified in the killing of Charlie Kirk — exercising restraint even as I condemned hatred and violence” writes Attiah in a Substack piece about her firing.

“My only direct reference to Kirk was one post— his own words on record.” Attiah paraphrased one of Kirk’s most revolting statements, where he claimed that “Black women do not have the brain processing power to be taken seriously. You have to go steal a white person's slot.”

Just for paraphrasing Kirk IN HIS OWN WORDS, the Jeff Bezos-owned Washington Post told her that was “unacceptable” and “gross misconduct” and accused her of “endangering the physical safety of colleagues,” which is beyond ridiculous.

“Washington D.C. no longer has a paper that reflects the people it serves. What happened to me is part of a broader purge of Black voices from academia, business, government, and media — a historical pattern as dangerous as it is shameful — and tragic,” mournfully writes Attiah.

This comes on the heels of a nationwide effort of Republicans, who claim to love “free speech,” to catalog and get fired anyone and everyone who criticized Charlie Kirk or spoke disrespectfully of him. Their hypocrisy is unbelievable. The GOP is the party of cancel culture, and their billionaire masters are doing everything they can to crush free speech and force everyone to venerate a monster.

The Guardian is very liberal and the WSJ is conservative but have in no way been cozying up to Trump, quite the contrary. I have not read any such quote in any of their articles but if they made a mistake and corrected it, it’s not because they are a joke.

Social media is a much bigger problem and the way people process information obtained from there shows the problems with our education system .
I want to be hopeful too. I used to like and cite them often before the election. I would be happy to know they’re not part of those capitulating to him but a media house as big as they are not verifying such important information before taking to press is a huge oversight that I can’t help but think they’re a becoming a joke.

I’d say they’re still better than traditional conservative media because those ones won’t even retract or apologize.

Then again the Smithsonian and Havard did let Trump bully them into doing his will. The same way so called “liberal media” CBS and MSNBC let go of some of the most watched Trump critics even though they claim that’s not the reason.

Since Trump came around, free speech has not been free unfortunately.

@bold, absolutely true.

Oh yes he has black support. Ain’t that something?
They play party politics to their own detriment.

nateevs:
I avoid these guys like a plague. I don't even give them a listening ear unless one of them is making a case around common sense of politics. So imagine my shock as I unravel over the last two days, some of the vile things this fella has said.

As if the 2A comment I pointed out two days ago was not shocking enough, I have just learnt that he said the passing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was a mistake. He goes on to defend it later, stating that the country made a mistake as the Act has "created a beast that has turned into an Anti-White weapon" shocked shocked shocked

A few days later, he went on to release an 82-min podcast called the the Myth-of-MLK. Matter of fact, on Charlie Kirk's own website the summary describes as follows: ".....how the "MLK Myth" keeps America shackled to destructive 1960s laws that have replaced the original U.S. Constitution."

The Original U.S. Constitutionhuhhuh?

Meanwhile, we have black people on here defending this guy and calling him a hero. Black people who would not have Internet and a keyboard without this same Civil Rights Acts of 1964.

Media houses under Trump cowtowing to him have become such a disgrace to “journalism”. Now stuff like this is done intentionally. They lay one of these eggs and suddenly everyone on social media runs with it and it doesn’t matter if it’s been refuted. It is now the narrative.

All I can say to the European immigrants running their mouths on this thread a few months back in support of racist American right wingers is that “I hope you’re ready”.

Elon has figured out he can meddle in any country’s politics as he deems fit. I hope you guys will support him too as he messes with your country’s economy, your children’s education/future and your federal institutions.

The monster you were cheering on from across the pond has swarm to your doorstep. They don’t care if you support them or not. You are still brown/black and viewed as less than by these people. So stay safe and guard your loved ones closely.

If you don’t like it, take your own advice and leave the UK. It’s easy to blab when it’s not something that directly affects you. Now it’s your turn. Stay safe.

I thought you Nigerians were fans of his?

I immediately saw through him when he came to buy American conservative hearts with his fake anti LGBTQ stance. And I was equally disappointed at how many Nigerians fell for it.

Apparently, all an evil person needs to do to win Nigerian hearts is to tell them he or she is pro Christian and anti LGBTQ and they will hand over the keys to their children’s destinies to said person.

Elon is violently anti black. He would ensure our future generations of black children only exist to serve his descendants. The number of people I had to mourn being friendly with because they were too dense to see through him and the entire conservative movement still hurts my heart. Oh well.

---Suspect’s Grandmother Says Family Is All MAGA---

https://politicalwire.com/2025/09/12/suspects-grandmother-says-family-is-all-maga/

The 22-year-old university student accused of assassinating MAGA firebrand Charlie Kirk grew up in a staunchly Republican, Trump-backing family,” the Daily Mail reports.

Tyler Robinson’s grandmother Debbie Robinson, 69, said she is stunned by the charges against her grandson, describing him as a quiet, reserved young man who ‘never’ spoke about politics, despite his father’s staunch Trump support.
Grandma really said “my grandson may be a murderer but he’s no leftist 😤”

For someone whose husband just dyed 2 days ago, this rehearsed performance comes off as inauthentic. Dry tear ducts. The obviously orchestrated managed emotions. Very uncomfortable to observe .

Most people would be distraught in active mourning.

Obviously there is no “correct” way to act after something like this happens to your husband but pushing his organization like a commercial was so weird. I think certain people are definitely using her to push their agenda further.

Watch closely , next thing you know she’ll be capitalizing off his death and running for office.

If you guys remember Nick Fuentes, the guy that called for women to be burned at the stake like in the past, he has been a Kirk hater because Kirk hasn’t been conservative enough for him. Imagine when someone as disgusting as Kirk isn’t bad enough for you. How bad can you be?

Tyler’s family say he has been getting more political recently. If he had any views different from their maga family views, they would be shouting it from the rooftops
