You need to understand that most VCs differ when it comes to union activities. They're always against ASUU or any other institution's union bodies esp when it comes to activities that are aimed at crippling school programs. The ASUU executives of the institution, if they were active enough should have been the one to disrupt the post UME the day it held. But this one took place without the academic staff. So PATHETIC!!!! Why on earth would we allow just disparity in language to dislodge the oneness Africans are known for. ONE COUNTRY, ONE RACE, ONE COLOR yet the most ethnocentric set of creatures. We take pleasure in deriding ourselves all because my ideology do not sync with yours. We're engulfed with crises here and there but that seems not to suffice, its this issue of deportation we now want to utilise to cause an unnecessary inter-tribal pandemonium. We forget that as you're on nairaland insulting your fellow brother/sister, your governor is on a call to the other governor confirming if their business deal is still on course. Next week they meet at a business dinner in dubai leaving you with a "stenchy" enmity with your so called e-foe. Let me quickly ask you this? If this should lead to intertribal clashes between ibo and yoruba 1) Are you ready to fight the war? As in physically participating? 2) What do you stand to gain? If you want a taste of each and every new Android update, then you'd have to keep tab on Tecno new batches of products. By implication, you'll need to be ready almost every time to change your phone to their latest. Is it not part of what they're suppose to address? They keep using Nigeria market as the testing ground for their trial products. Yea, before you quote me ,yes I mean you Tecno ambassador reading this, I understand its their selling point (relatively cheaper) that attracts us to them And we should appreciate them. My question is, is Tecno the only brand that produces cheap smartphones? What about the build quality of others compared to Tecno? Are they any better and is there any of them that enjoys OS update? lomomike: The way TECNO churns out their products en mass leaves a lot to be imagined and thus could get one worried about Quality Control. Hope my fears aren't found??You beat me to it bro. When you keep churning out products every week how and when would you have time to concentrate on quality improvement. I helped two people to purchase the tecno N7 and its one of the greatest mistake I've made this year. After a week of purchase, one of the devices stopped responding to touches (the bottom softkeys). The speaker of the other tecno after 3 weeks became faulty. One thing that baffles me is why they refuse to take their time and come out with the big bang. As far As all these phones are concerned, I can't really spot the distinction btw them. Okay you would say the previous came with 5MP camera while this is proudly 8MP. You would be convinced that those figure that precedes MP is just the chinese interpretation for fraud by the time you attempt to use the phone snap in low light or in the night. I have tested several tecno on this. They should go back to the drawing board and come out with something that would give others (including sammy)run for their money. Till now their product is yet to be bridegroomed with gorilla glass. NB; Team Tecno I'm not hating but we need to remind tecno that in order for them to have full dominance of the smartphone market in West Africa they need to be more Innovative. A train driver suspected of causing Spain's worst train disaster for decades has has been formally accused of reckless homicide, the country's Interior Minister said. Investigators are looking into possible failings by 52-year-old Francisco Jose Garzon Amo after the Madrid to Ferrol service derailed on Wednesday night as it approached the city of Santiago de Compostela. He has now left hospital after receiving treatment for chest trauma and been taken to a police station, but has so far refused to answer officers' questions and is expected to be interrogated by a judge. Visiting Santiago, Interior Minister Jorge Fernandez Diaz said there were "reasonable grounds to think he (Garzon Amo) may have a potential liability". "He has been detained since 7:40pm on Thursday for the alleged crime of reckless homicide," Fernandez Diaz said. The president of the autonomous region of Galicia, Alberto Nunez Feijoo said forensic science units hoped to name three of the 78 victims who have not yet been identified in the next three days. Nunez-Feijoo also said a public funeral for the 78 dead would be held at Santiago cathedral on Monday at 7pm local time. One Briton was among the 168 injured passengers, while 30 people are still believed to be in a critical condition. In addition to people from all over Spain, nationals from the United States, Mexico and Algeria are believed to be among the dead. Authorities are in possession of the train's so-called "black box", which is expected to shed further light on the cause of the disaster. Adif, Spain's railway agency, confirmed that a high-tech automatic braking programme was installed on the track for most of the journey but stops just five kilometres (three miles) south of where the crash occurred. From that point on the driver has sole control of the brakes. "Regardless of the system in place, the drivers know the speed limits. If these are respected, an accident should not take place," a spokeswoman said. Early indications suggested the train was travelling at around 118mph - more than twice the 50mph speed limit - when it crashed while heading into a curve. Gonzalo Ferre, president of Adif, said the driver should have started slowing the train four kilometres (2.5 miles) before reaching a dangerous bend that train drivers had been told to respect. "Four kilometres before the accident happened he already had warnings that he had to begin slowing his speed, because as soon as he exits the tunnel he needs to be travelling at 80 kilometres per hour," Ferre said. According to reports in the Spanish media, after realising the magnitude of the disaster Amo said: "I f***** up, I want to die." In March 2012, the 30-year employee of Spanish train operator Renfe allegedly posted boasts on Facebook about how fast he was driving a train and joked about racing past police. He is believed to have taken control of the train from a second driver about 65 miles south of Santiago. Wednesday's train crash is the worst Spain has experienced since a three-train accident in a tunnel in the northern Leon province in 1944.
