Foreign Affairs › Re: Yu Can’t Kill Your Way Out Of Security Problems - JD Vance Tells Israel by CodeTemplar: 7:25am On Jun 19 |
Vifx: JD Vance's criticism exposes a contradiction many have pointed out for years: if military force alone could solve Israel's security challenges, decades of wars, occupations, and bombardments would have already brought lasting peace. You cannot bomb an ideology out of existence, nor can you kill your way to regional stability.
If Israel doesn't like the deal, what exactly is the alternative? More bombing? Another occupation? Regime change? Endless war? It's easy to reject diplomacy, but any serious criticism of a deal should come with a realistic plan that produces better outcomes. Political solutions are imperfect, but history suggests they are far more durable than perpetual military escalation. Isreal is not killing for fun or for lasting peace but for survival. To be israel is to battle evil all your life(persecution). They did not bargain for that. Oct 07 is fresh enough in our memory. Across the middle east, we all saw the massive jubilation even by those who dont share a border with isreal. How do you explain a land dispute with someone you are not sharing a border with? |

I have seen a fenced and gated land in ibadan where cows were kept and prevented from going outside. The land was like half of a football field filled with weeds. This is what FG should instruct the herder to adopt and not one useless anmesty for immigrants. |

there is no dairy industry in Nigeria like raph82 has said..
Nigeria's cattle is just a cover for a particular tribe to carry out terrorist attacks on the indigenes... I used the AI summary but it is backed accurate data. The output in Nigeria is laughable. The point is that nomadic style of rearing cattles is an all round budden. |

APC has been steadily faking popularity since 2024 in preparation of the real figure abracadabra of 2027. They have been buying people off too. Silently injecting and reinforcing things that can justify bogus figures. Thats why there is almost no attempt to inspire real economic turn around.
They are just sending money to work for them. It is a case of ignoring the real voters and satisfying/buying off the middle tier guys available for a price. |

FreeJerseyCusto: Thank you for your response that is why nationalising Anything is Extremely dangerous is Nigeria they did " nationalise " NITEL by selling it to Nigerian investors and that company has not been heard of. Government cannot even give Dangote all the crude he needs then regulate his prices. People calling for Nationalising MTN are dreamers, did they not nationalise ShopRite ? Nigerians are terrible managers. As a matter of fact, blacks are terrible managers of anything. If there are any group of blacks managing and growing business organically anywhere i dont knoww of them. From Haiti to Africa to America. Blacks are hunters who hunt what is available in the wild and never mutipliers. Even South Africa and Zimbabwe who appear to be punching above the average black prosperity line are just lucky to have whites among them. |

FreeJerseyCusto: You are missing the point. She is a trained lawyer with a law degree so she can think out of the box. No serious country will ever Touch MTN because the South African Government is not behind the xenophobia attacks all these people talking of nationalising MTN don't understand history, Look at the Mess Robert Mugabe caused when he took back lands from the whites Agriculture collapsed. It is better to punish people for committing crimes than punish people because people they did not know committed crimes Mugabe people ended up replacing the brits and Europeans with chinese. African is characterized by eat now complain later. Zero growth culture. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Give Each Citizen 1 Million Yearly - South African Protest Leader by CodeTemplar: 4:31pm On Jun 17 |
obailala: Like I mentioned before, it's often the wretched and unenlightened in society who ignorantly assume that the successful outsider is the source of their misfortunes. A typical trait of this demographic is to latch onto the same lame narrative: "oh, these foreigners are committing crimes, so therefore we must chase them out."
Same story in the UK, the US etc. - "Oh the immigrants are taking our jobs and our women, and even our university degrees"; always the low lives in society coming up with this narrative.
You claim the foreigners are committing crime, yet when it's time to act, you glaringly ignore those on the street who may actually be committing the crimes; instead you go after the successful ones with legitimate businesses or jobs who live decent, productive lives while you languish in your squalor. Jealousy is indeed a very toxic and destructive emotion!! dont grow dafter bro. |
