A protest should not include the blockade of public assets or inconvenience motorists and pedestrians.
Our security forces should with immediately deploy tear gas and rubber bullets to scene.
Protest in peace and stop being a nuisance to others! but kidnapping and criminality by one ethnic group should. |

Thats the problem with you APC elements. You convert the cry of a baby in agony into the scheming of your enemy. Very painful. Obi holds no office but even if he did, a vetteer way to judge the issue will be for Yekini to achieve what he personally criticized GEJ for not doing. Has he done that? |

Imagine if SA was the one using their corporate touch to handle the mining operations in DRC. They are right to be angry with other nations flooding and choking the resources. Instead of Zimbabweans to challenge ancestral leader who hold onto power, they escape into SA and develop sense of entitlement they cannot afford. Politics › Re: I Have Personally Left That Religion Of War. Koko Zaria by CodeTemplar: 9:14pm On Jun 12 |
WizardOfNG: Come on. That is a political statement. You're a sharp dude na. Politicians must always gaslight their opponents they wish to replace.
Demonize your political opponents in the eyes of the electorate and profit. That is how politics works and all politicians, everywhere in the world, engage in it.
With your talk of Jonathan hiring mercenaries, deployed expensively, it can never work to permanently overcome terrorism driven by ideological indoctrination.
Many ordinary Northerners go into forest to supply food, medicine and even sex to terrorists and bandits. Their support system, across the North, is huge.
Do you guys think this is a joke? We are fighting a belief system and ideology that cannot defeated be by the current Nigerian security system.
The solution is very simple. Usher in State/regional police asap.
As soon as serious States and region significantly upscale their capacity to tackle crime, the North will realise terror is no longer a tool they can use to blackmail other regions.
Meaning they must tackle the marauders they created so they too can enjoy the peace, security and socio-economic progress others are enjoying.
Without doing the right thing North and South will separate for sure 💯%. the bulk doesn't stop at the President's table any longer. Never new standards have timetable in politics. |
Politics › Re: I Have Personally Left That Religion Of War. Koko Zaria by CodeTemplar: 8:31pm On Jun 12 |
WizardOfNG: Great post and you have said most things naive Nigerians are ignorant of but need to understand. Your conclusion that the "issue is complex" is apt.
Anyone thinking one man, i.e a President , can end insecurity that so many Northerners are ideoligically in bed with, at all levels, is delusional.
I really developed hatred for the North when, virtually all Northerners, endorsed the killing of Deborah.
Heart-wrenching what happened to that girl because I have daughters and can imagine the pain of her parent knowing how their daughter suffered stoned and burnt.
Yet most Northerners saw it as fitting punishment for her "blasphemy". It was shocking and a definitive event that showed me the union of North and South is unnatural and will end as all things unnatural do.
I personally think things will come to a head soonish in the end and the world will even come in to intervene so South and North separate. It is the South that is valuable to the World anyway.
Similar to how Sudan's main region that had become too irreconcilably incompatible separated. I just hope it can be achieved without much shedding of the blood of innocent Nigerians.
Below is the shame of a nation that, if full of bravely principled people, would have sparked a revolution against the North and their backwards ways.
Read below how 34 lawyers defended the suspects who are brutal killers. We are too unserious in Nigeria and as Reno Omokri said, Nigerians are only concerned about Rice and Eba.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lynching_of_Deborah_Yakubu Like tinubu once said to Jonathan, the bull stops at the president's table. No amount of conspiracy can prevent a president. We saw how GEJ acted. How he brought SA mercenaries in. |
Politics › Re: I Have Personally Left That Religion Of War. Koko Zaria by CodeTemplar: 7:29pm On Jun 12 |
WizardOfNG: What are you talking about? I condemn Northern leaders daily here. Don't think "my boss" (I take it you mean Tinubu) won't deliver. We will see na.
Things will come to a head and the North, their leaders sponsoring terror because they always want ultimate power, cannot win. Dey watch bruv. The terror industry in the north goes far beyond powerplay. There is the spiritual power angle to it. In the days of very active campus cult, it was disguised as armed robbery as people were rendered dead or useless as part of sacrifices for politicians to return or get offices. There is also the religious dominance angle to it in the north specifically. They are naturally seeking to impose islam and killi-ng is a core part of their strategy. There is a powerplay angle to it also. I sponsor violence in a constituency and then present myself as the solution so the people can vote for me and not the other guy in power There is the tribal angle. The nomads are taking over whole villages at a time while doing the bidding of politician who need sacrifices to remain in power. Dont tell me that as a politician no agent of darkness has approached you for such service. I saw a BBC documentary about such practice in Liberia. It is real. Politicians dont only contract small cliques of killers, they have whole squads working for them also. Nigerian politicians go as far aa Freetown for such services. There is the brainwashing angle to it. Many not-so-elite folks have been brainwashed to believe their religion is being advanced. There is the conquest angle to it. I once ŕead about how a Fulani leaders boasted that his people can eliminate the conquered tribes of the north because only the benevolence of their forefathers who achieved the conquest and spared the fathers of the victims allowed them to be born in the first place. Imagine that. The issue is complex. |
