VDM even stated that the NAF get N400b allocation frm FG in 2026 to combat banditry yet they have refused to bring banditry to an end.......He said NAF could be the Banditry itself with this huge allocation. That allocation is largely for preservation of democracy in Africa. Example is Burkina Faso. |

They can’t prosecute herdsmen, never! why are they allowed to abduct, levy and kill muslims then? Ooooo i forgot, they need to keep it thorough in the eyes of the world. Make it look like crime but then subtly adjust the ratio of Christian victims to achieve a jihadi effect. |

Idiots of the highest order. If not idiots, how many terrorists have they served the demonic shariah justice to? So you can cut the hand of someone who stole chicken but respect another who stole a village and killed everyone therein. You pardon the killers and cut the hands of the petty thieves. It goes to show you that the shariah movement is nothing more than a demonic wedge to trap lowly conquered tribes with languages and territorial spells. |

Politics › Re: Islamization Of Nigeria: Hausa And Yorubas Are Taken, Igbos Next (opinion) by CodeTemplar: 3:35pm On Jun 09*. Modified: 4:32pm On Jun 09 |
Northern Nigeria
Entry Method (11th–14th Centuries): Islam was introduced via North African traders into Kanem-Borno and later by the Wangarawa scholars into Hausaland.
State Integration: It became closely tied to political leadership and statecraft. By the 15th century, figures like King Muhammad Rumfa of Kano actively institutionalized Islamic rule.
The Sokoto Jihad (19th Century): To eradicate syncretism and reform the religious practices of the Hausa states, Usman dan Fodio launched a jihad in 1804. This solidified a dominant Islamic theocracy that defined Northern identity, law, and culture.
Yorubaland
Entry Method (15th Century): Islam arrived as Esin Imale (the religion of the Malians), brought by itinerant Dyula/Malian merchants during the prosperous reign of Alaafin Oluaso of the Oyo Empire.
Gradual Coexistence: For centuries, it served as the religion of foreign visitors. Because early Islam accommodated foundational Yoruba traditions (e.g., polygamy, divination, and praise poetry), it spread peacefully from the 17th century onward without centralized, forceful imposition.
The Ilorin Jihad (19th Century): While the North's Islamic conversion was largely centralized, Islam's political push in Yorubaland occurred when Af^nja, an Oyo military general in Ilorin, allied with Fulani scholars, leading to Ilorin becoming an Islamic emirate. However, the rest of Yorubaland generally adopted Islam on a grassroots, communal level, resulting in deep religious tolerance where Muslim and Christian faiths frequently thrive within the same families. |
Politics › Re: Islamization Of Nigeria: Hausa And Yorubas Are Taken, Igbos Next (opinion) by CodeTemplar: 3:29pm On Jun 09 |
Islam entered Northern Nigeria early through trans-Saharan trade and state-level adoption, while in Yorubaland, it spread gradually through peaceful Malian traders, often coexisting with traditional beliefs. The Northern spread became defined by the 19th-century Sokoto Jihad, whereas the Yoruba experience remained highly syncretic and flexible. |

NOETHNICITY: You didn’t read it. We aren’t lacking gas, rather our local producers are greedy as they would rather export than sell within the local market I read it well. Let thwm use the extra volume meant for the unready pipeline to shore up supply. |
