Politics › Re: Stop Building Unnecessary Flyovers - Tinubu Tells Govs by CodeTemplar: 10:25am On Jul 31
Teymanhenry:
.

There is no serious traffic congestion in Lafia, Akwanga, or Keffi that justifies building flyovers. In fact, in places like Lafia, well-designed roundabouts would solve most traffic issues at a much lower cost.

What is more concerning is the apparent neglect of some of the most densely populated parts of Lafia, while road projects seem concentrated in other areas. Many residents feel that communities with large Christian populations have been overlooked, whereas roads are being constructed along routes like Shendam Road, where traffic is often light. Some of those roads are so underused that people even use them for driving lessons and car drifting.

Development should be based on need, population, and public benefit, not on perceived religious or political affiliations
That must be taraba.
Who is the governor of that state again? The governor needs beating. A whole three flyovers. Habaaa.

Rural roads arent your everyday busy highways in comparison but those roads also contribute to the development of the communities using them........there are roads in america and canada that you can actually cook beans from start to finish without a single vehicle in sight......and there are roads here in Nigeria that no matter how developed Nigeria gets even ahead of China you can never have s single traffic jam.

Mexico city with 25m inhabitants has 13 ring roads while lagos with 24m has maybe 1 and a new bypass.

Thats why you have trunk A,B and C categorisation.
You are confusing highway for road.

So I ask the islamic terrorism supporters: what are the benefits of the October 7th? With the losses on iranian side, Hezbollah side, hamas side, houthis, islamic jihad, etc, did the October 7 worth it?
After enjoying the luxury of weapons the jews painstainkingly created with their free oil money, they are back to the days of ismael.

I differ with the president on this, those roads are critical infrastructure that serves the purpose of development, many govs have completed these flyovers and peopla are using it,if the crowd isn't there yet, they are definitely coming,3mb looked foolish at the time it was being built,I remember 1991 when the bridge was launched, you could practically count the number of cars on that bridge but voila, imagine a Lagos without that bridge.
The ones Umahi built in Ebonyi state, you can cook indomie(noodles) from start to finish without a car passing.
I am sure there will the one where beans can be cooked somewhere.

Is someone feeding Yekini my posts? Lol.

He himself is building a road of 6 lanes(scaled down from 10 lanes) and has named it after himself with barely 10% completion.
The man you appointed minister is a specialist in needless flyovers. Go to ebonyi and confirm

Education › Re: The Annoying Trend Of Uniforms In Nigerian Universities (photos) by CodeTemplar: 3:47pm On Jul 30
EhisChelsea1:
Some Universities impose uniform on students now. I was in UNN, Nsukka recently. It’s an eyesore. Almost all the departments in Arts and Social sciences are mandated to wear uniform. Not even mature uniform o, secondary school - like uniforms…

Strange it is. Private primary and secondary schools are gradually drifting away from regimented uniforms while public universities are imposing uniforms on undergraduates
What pains me is the way these same public school guys castigated private schools for adopting dresscode. Dress code like type of clothe and limits but no specific colours. They tagged it, secondary school stuff. Today they are the ones wearing secondary sch uniforms.
What happened to Aluta Continua spirit?

These are the people who mocked private schools when dressing codes were introduced.
Nigerians just naturally have that mentality of crabs in a bucket.

Open beheading on election day and suspects. That tells you this commisioner of police will walk free.

Every state should designate at least one industrial cluster for a dedicated power arrangement within 12 months; a federal-state compact should harmonise levies and clear informal checkpoints on industrial corridors; an annual State Industrial Competitiveness Index should rank every state publicly on power, land, levies and logistics; and Nigeria First procurement should be enforced at the federal and state levels with quarterly compliance dashboards.”
See quality advise. Not useless coastal roads.
