We all know the reason why all of you are sad is not bcs of Fubara or Rivers people but for the sake of votes you want to get from Rivers.
Peter Obi will never become Nigeria president.
Take him to your Biafra Republic and makes him your president Votes to be gotten by Obi in Rivers is sure to be huge. The issue is for those votes not to be hijacked by wike for Tinubu. The Obidiebts are right to support anyone but Wike in Rivers politics. |
Politics › Re: Youth Leader In Enugu Set Tinubu's Billboard On Fire by CodeTemplar: 5:04pm On May 22 |
FSBoperator: Oh the guy is going to get picked up for sure.
These are the crimes he broke :
1. Arson.
2. Destruction of private property
3. Criminal mischief.
4.. Tampering with election material. Yes, unlawful destruction or tampering of an election poster is considered as tampering with election materials .
Electoral Offences (Electoral Act 2022) Destruction of Election Materials (Section 126): A campaign billboard is considered an election material. Snatching or destroying any election material is an offence punishable by 24 months (two years) in prison.
The Police can also arraign him for arson and willful destruction of private property Under Nigerian law, a person tried for arson for the willful destruction of a campaign billboard faces severe penalties as outlined in the Criminal Code Act.
Primary Charge (Section 443): A campaign billboard is legally considered a "structure." Therefore, wilfully and unlawfully setting fire to it constitutes arson, which is a felony punishable by life imprisonment. Attempted Arson (Section 444):
Even if the attempt to set the fire fails, the individual can be charged with attempted arson, which is a felony carrying a penalty of fourteen years' imprisonment. ... data boy in action. |

Crime › Re: Oyo State Kidnapping - Rumors Of Major Ambush by CodeTemplar: 3:55pm On May 22 |
Jakumo: I am merely expressing my utter bafflement about the length of time it is taking to pinpoint the location of the kidnappers and their victims, bearing in mind the fact that drones capable of spotting people by day or night even if they are hidden under tree cover are readily available in Oyo State. If you take time to read what I have written, you will agree that the intent is NOT "propaganda", but is an urgent call for more effective use of aerial surveillance drones which are ALREADY in the possession of the military AND of the civilian Amotekun corps.
I own multiple hobby-grade drones whose capabilities are nowhere near the specifications of the drones that are already in possession of the government and Amotekun corps, but the knowledge I have gained over the years of operating drones is the reason I know how easily and quickly the kidnappers and their captives SHOULD have been located once the first distress call had been recorded.
Code Templar, I take exception to your opinion that this topic could be construed as "propaganda" when it is actually an expression of growing impatience over the slow pace at which drone surveillance is being utilized. It is a known fact that ARMED drones are already in the Nigerian police inventory, so it is tragic that foot patrols where sent into harm's way without the option of aerial location and attack being deployed as the first and primary response to this unfolding tragedy. In your first comment you were talking about mines and ambushes. I find those outrageous. Even if 10,000 rescuers get killed, that's no excuse to not have them in sight as we speak. |
Politics › Re: Bandit Attack Escalates Different Conspiracy Theories by CodeTemplar: 3:48pm On May 22 |
youngEmelex: I have been reading a lot of reports on social media handles trying to claim that the recent bandit attack in Oyo state is a sign that even the south has been surrounded by jihadists. Now this is an isolated case of criminality not Jihad. Niger Delta youths were once heavily involved in this kidnapping for ransome business before they were granted amnesty by late President Yaradua. Imo state governor granted such amnesty last year too. It's obvious some Fulani militias have spread across the states of Nigeria with the same format of kidnapping for ransome used in the Niger Delta. Amnesty and dialogue can also work in this case as proposed by Gumi or each state should have their own police or equip their communities to tackle these crimes. What you call Niger Delta youth is actually oil producing community. In ND, they regard you by your community input and not some arabian brainwashing spiritual movement. There is no ND amnesty in the real sense but a community by community based amnesty that rewarded those who were active in the struggle alone. Not whole communities. |

Note that he didn't download a fake Opay app, he already had Opay so how was that scam app able to access his bank accout?
No SMS OTP, No mail, no verification at all. If this is true, then it shows how unsafe opay is rather than blame the user OPay is built upon Android OS which has its own flaws. Very possible for a secure opay to be manipulated via Android OS. |
