The bill should encourage local priduction and help all states see the entire ecowas as their market. The more is produced under you, the more you get. Instead they want to enforce state equality. Maybe we should achieve regional and zonal equality before thinking of such.
If they share VAT by consumption volume, what happens to extra produce that goes into other ECOWAS states? |

Family › Opinion : Without Subsidy, Nigeria's Population Will Be Around 55m-65m by CodeTemplarr(op): 9:34pm On Dec 01, 2024*. Modified: 9:10pm On Nov 29, 2025 |
Think of it. A litre of fuel sold for N178 for so long because of a double-edged subsidy design that : 1) subsidizes the currency being used to import petrol to around 35%-40% of the actual value. 2) subsidizes the actual cost of the petrol to 45% of its landing cost which is already skewed by number 1 above. If not for the above two, it could have sold for as high as it was selling now since three decades ago. That meant a lot of people could afford to 1) have many more children than they would have had. 2) emigrate out of Nigeria less 3) immigrate from neighbouring Hausa/Fulani regions in other countries to swell our numbers. 4) be on govt payroll without adding value yet surviving on the pittance being given them. Going be the above, i have to conclude that our numbers would have been much lesser if not for subsidies. 55-65 million in my opinion. Do you guys agree? https://cdn.businessday.ng/2022/09/Campaign.jpgNlfpmod

Lol... fake life indeed.
Imagine buying a litre of fuel N178 when it could have gone for N416. That N416 is even still lower because going by true or actual Naira strength, it was suppose to be going for around N1200. Uncle Yekini came and removed both economic wedges disguised as subsidy.
If not for subsidy, Nigeria's population will not be more than 55m. A lot of idle earners have 6-8 children when ordinarily their effort from January to December cant fend for one child. |

The girl was actually one of the church members house girl with poor communication of English. She was saying she isn’t a witch but she wish for Jesus …. Which the pastor heard she is witch for Jesus.
And yet you see the church members celebrating and were amused. I really see religious people as one of the most evil, self righteous and hypocritical people to ever grace the surface of the earth. But worst of all is Islam, although Christianity is evil, Islam is the height of inhumanity and terror be lying small small o. |

jesusjnr2020: Furthermore the reason God gave for making Solomon the richest man that ever lived, also puts the idea being sold by prosperity preachers, that one needs to seek or strive for earthly riches or financial prosperity (as they do) to become rich in the mud, because Solomon didn't ask or seek after such things beforehand, just the things that mattered to God, yet all of the riches of all the prosperity seeking preachers in history combined cannot come close to matching the riches of king Solomon.
Just to illustrate how rich King Solomon became, he made silver and gold to become as stones in Jerusalem.
2 Chronicles 1:15 (KJV)
And the king made silver and gold at Jerusalem as plenteous as stones, and cedar trees made he as the sycomore trees that are in the vale for abundance.
That should already give an idea of the telling impact and ripple effect his riches had upon the lives of his people, Israel. It was to the extent the most precious metals, silver and gold, become as many as stones in their land.
That is what it truly means to be prosperous, when the prosperity reaches everyone that no one has lack among the people even as it was in the early church (Acts 4:34-35), not the kind of today's prosperity preachers that will be flaunting their earthly riches in their faces and even bragging about being dangerously rich, while many of their church members yet wallow in abject poverty[/b]
God bless. You have mental issues. Did the preachers of today hijack God's wisdom and monopolize it? As a matter of fact, the riches they flaunt(according to you), actually comes to them through the people you are trying to incite against them. |

Money has become a strong force in today's world.
While a lot of bad things get done for money, it will be wrong to attack pastors that are rich for not being rich towards God. The error of the rich fool here is not being rich but being poor towards God. The rich part may be easier to see but the "being rich towards God" part gets trickier because it ought to be as secretive as possible. |
