Politics / Re: Soyinka Is An Embarrassment To His Admirers – Patience Jonathan by CoenzymeA: 7:49am On Jul 13, 2013 |
BekeeBuAgbara: If not hearsay what other evidence does Prof. Soyinka have to criticize Patience Jonathan over River state conflict, you don't unnecessarily castigate others publicly and expect them to respect you and keep quiet because you are a noble prize winner. It is no brainer for anybody to understand what is happening in the Nigerian political scene especially in Rivers State. Even a 5 year old can tell you. Unless of course your stance is beclouded with ethnic sentiments or whatever gain you may be having. I mean, from 19 votes to 16 in the NGF Chairmanship election to five Honourable members trying to impeach the speaker, what more evidence do you need? The truth is, I don't care about any of these politicians because they are all the same, but we as the ordinary citizens should be able to stand up for the truth and call our politicians to order. You may think you are now comfortable and care less of their actions, but guess what? When the shit hits the fan, it will become a case of a chicken that is perched on a rope: the rope is not comfortable neither is the chicken. We are all in this together! 3 Likes |

I beg leave issues, Romans 8:14 says; "for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."It is not by the church you go to. 2 Likes |
Fashion / Re: Omotola On The Cover Of City People Fashion And Lifestlye Magazine by CoenzymeA: 1:14am On Jun 28, 2013 |
50calibre: Obesity is now equals sexy in Nigeria. Lols That woman I see in the picture is not obese. You're obese when your BMI is greater than 30 kg/m2, and I don't think Omotola is greater than that. By the way, when has underweight become sexy in Nigeria? |
Travel / Re: Staff At The Nigerian Embassy In Canada Are Incompetent by CoenzymeA: 8:35pm On Jun 21, 2013 |
Diasporan: Please let him express his displeasure about the sorry state of our Embassies all over the world. Maybe by this something will be done concerning them. Ironically, 2 weeks ago I met an American lady who complained bitterly about the way she and her sister were treated at one these Embassies on different occasions(I've forgotten which- NYC or Atlanta). She has roots in Nigeria and visited there when she was 15 years. Now, she is married and wants to bring her kids for a visit in Nigeria but was met with a rude shock at the embassy. Before meeting me, the poor lady had held the notion that she did something wrong to the woman that attended to her, until I told her it is their usual behaviour. |
Politics / Re: Presidential Committee Dialogues With Boko-Haram Suspects In Lagos Prisons. by CoenzymeA: 12:11am On Jun 15, 2013 |
How will the soldiers who risked their lives to capture these terrorists feel when they hear that they have been released? Amnesty should be for terrorists who willingly surrendered, not for the ones that are captured in the heat of a battle. However, I wish them luck in trying to put an end to this Canker-worm called BH. |
Food / Re: Picture Of A Nairaland Addict Cooking Food For His Lovely Wife. by CoenzymeA: 7:09pm On Jun 04, 2013 |
While you plan on moving to another place, try and put wall paper on the wall near your stove. Also do the same in the place your are moving to. As a Landlord you wouldn't want someone to mess up your house like the way you did to that house. If the house is yours, keep it clean all the same. Peace out! |
Politics / Re: Al-jazeera’s Report On State Of Emergency Misleading – FG by CoenzymeA: 1:26am On Jun 02, 2013 |
50calibre: Could this be because the said Yvonne promised the beast she would report in his favour? She would have been long silenced by BH if she was not working for them. I trust BH boys in this, they don't waste much time. Remember what they did to MTN installations in Kano. |
Politics / Re: Baba Suwe Loses N25M NDLEA Damages Suit by CoenzymeA: 9:21pm On May 31, 2013 |
parki: One of those outdated scanners caught that former Sunny Ade's Guitarist who is now cooling his heels in the prison. We know what these people are capable of doing. The NDLEA knew what they were doing by detaining him that long after repeated scans showed there was something in him. I guess you could explain how heavily armed and trained security men were decimated by some mere village folks in Nasarawa state. |

nijanigga: A man of high integrity,he had all the opportunities to loot funds when he was minister for works and housing, but refused. It was said that IBB had to secretly deposit funds into his accounts. Very humble man. Most of the dual carriage roads in Nigeria were constructed during his administration as works and housing minister. He was able to secure $1M (big money then) grant for ABU to develop it's decaying infrastructure. One of the Nigeria's honest man is gone. One of the Nigeria's honest man is gone. RIP. I cannot agree with you less. A true man of integrity he was. The work he did in ABU cannot be forgotten.I remember it was during his time that Ribadu Hall was converted to female hostel to give more accommodation to ladies. The infrastructural transformation he brought to ABU is what is been improved upon by subsequent VCs. May his soul rest in peace. |
