After the controversial certificate saga, Senator representing Kogi West – Senator Deni Melaye has flaunted his certificate after collecting it from ABU Zaria.

Dino Melaye was accused by Sahara Reporters of not having the first degree in ABU Zaria as claimed by the senator in his profile on the senate website.

The allegation which created alot of controversies on both local media and social media made Dino to sue Sahara Reporters for libel and the matter is yet to be decided by court.



After collecting the certificate, Dino was seen surrounded by supporters and student leaders from the school as he showed off his certificate to the world.

A Lagos Island customary court has dissolved the marriage of Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike, and wife, Suzanna Emma.

The three-man panel presided over by Awo Awosola on Thursday brought an end to the 17-year-old marriage following a petition filed by Suzanne.

Other members of the panel of judges were Opeyemi Olanrewaju and Kehinde Jacob Olayinka.

“From all evidence before the court, the marriage between the couple had broken down, and it is irreconcilable, consequently, the marriage is hereby dissolved,” said the court.

The court granted Emeka the custody of the four children but ordered that Suzanne should be granted unhindered access to them.

Either Suzanne or Emeka Ike has 30 days to appeal.

The court also received a photocopy of a bank draft of N300 dated July 20, 2016, which Suzanne used in refunding the bride price, paid to her family during their marriage.

Suzanne in the petition filed before the court accused Emeka of incessant beating, molestation, and torture, which she said she could no longer endure.

But Emeka in his response denied beating, molesting or torturing his wife. He urged the court not to dissolve the marriage.

He also informed the court that his wife had moved out of their matrimonial home five times without any reason.

The actor told the court that the only time ‘devil’ entered their marriage was when his wife paid for the children’s school fees.

This is the lifeless body of the notorious kidnapper Henry Chibueze popularly known as Vampire. He was killed by the Nigerian Police this morning after engaging them in a gun battle.

According to report, the operation was carried out by the Police Special Force led by the IGP Intelligence Response Team (IRT)

Vampire was trailed and caught in Omu Awa Forest, Ikwerre L.G.A. Rivers State, and according to the police, five other members of his gang were arrested alive and cache of arms and ammunition were recovered.
