I give birth this morning to a bouncing baby boy via VD at 37w6 days. baby was weighing 3.0kg.

I was induced at 12am and give birth by 4:27am help me thank God.

I know today isn't bumpy Tuesday but abeg make una helep me look dis my bump. Is it not too big for 23weeks? Fear don de catch me o! Some of my neighbors are even thinking I'm already 8months pregnant o!

Secondly, lately, dizziness has been the order of the day. I get so dizzy that I have to stop what I'm doing, take off tight clothes, and just lie down for sometime before I'm relieved. 
Also, if I eat, after I finish eating, and I drink water, I'll get dizzy and weak that I'll just have to sit down for a while till I'm relieved. 

Is all this normal? 

P.S
I drink lots of liquid so I'm usually not dehydrated and I sit in a well ventilated area. Infact whether light de or light no de, my rechargeable fan is always working.

And sometimes I feel pressure in my lower abdomen as if lo is resting on something. I get this heavy feeling but it goes away after a while. 

My next appointment is in 3weeks 

Abeg make una help me. I don't wanna go and be doing too many scans

Good moning sabi mama ...i have been peeping for a while..please i want to ask a questin as a ftm...do they still give babies drugs after birth..and also how long does it take for the cord to fall off...please note i had my baby thru cs thus i didnt go home until after one week which my mil says its to late to use herb to remove it....


Also what are the DoS and donts after Cs....can i do hot water sitting and how long do i have to wait to wear tight clothing.....

Just a novice ....please orientate..

Why do pregnant ladies act strange? Today, my neighbour's heavily pregnant wife was trying to climb a moringa tree. Reason, she wants to eat moringa.

I remember how my brother's wife used to wake him at wee hours of the night asking for what was obviously impossible to get at such time of the night. And when she doesn't get it, she'll cry till she sleep off.

So, is this common among ladies? Is there a medical explanation for such behaviours.

Pls mama in the house what is wrong with eating plantain or banana. Some people said i should stop eating them. that causes one thing like dat for d baby (in the middle of his head) How true is it.even unripe plantain too. But have not heard of it until today.

Congrats to all that have given birth. Happy bumping to remaining mamas.

An incident at an airport really put me off.

This one time I was traveling by a certain airline - lets call it Amirates. My flight was going to be more than 24 hours, so lets just say I was very comfortably dressed. Now I enter the airport and started walking towards the business class queue to check in my luggage. One of the staff members approaches me and tells me please join another line - the one for Economy Class passengers. I wouldn’t have had an issue but I had paid for this ticket and I did not find that reasonable. I let him know that I was heading to the correct queue. He asked me to show my ticket. I did. He says he’s sorry, puts on those happy faces, says a thing or two and tells me to have a pleasant flight.

While this might not be a big deal, I really felt bad that how people have this biased perspective on how rich and successful people are supposed to look and behave and would not accept that looks do not define a person.

Their customs are weird.
Let your sister be ready to submit her monthly salary against her wish all the time (the man can decide whether or not to give her from it),there are particular parts of a chicken she must keep for her husband if not, she will fall sick and die.
She MUST not cheat (this is easy to adhere to), if she does, she must confess else she risks loosing her male children and husband to unknown ailment.
Looking at my mum's colleague back then, you would never believe she went to school. She used to wear bathroom slippers to work, was trekking a very long distance and the dressing was zero all because she would have submitted her salary and the man was left with the decision of whether to give or not.
She said the husband wasn't giving her anything and she couldn't complain.
My mum said fellow women adviced her to be keeping part of the money for herself but she said the punishment for doing that was death.
My dear, these are the ones I can remember now because it was a very long time ago.
