How about May D?

Someone made a comment on this forum and listed all the artiste Square records signed and pointed the fact that none succeeded. Does it not cement the fact that their management was bad and woeful?

I agree with your last statement but you cant give what you dont have. Probably this people left when it was not due and had little to hold on to.
Even peter of the psquare that left we are all seeing his success, he is not even singing again. He had drifted to loto called zoom.

But back then he was complaining that he was been marginalized by the group.

Its just like scales, wizkid and banky w. If not for d fact that wizkid and scales left and wizkid came out successful giving scales no excuse. Who knows by now scales would have released his own about y he didn't succeed because banky was marginalizing him.

scoundrel:
Igbo boys, give you free accommodation? The labour they’ll acquire from you will pass four years of rent compared to the meagre roof they’ll put above your head. I’ve lived with good Igbo people on the regular. It’s the bad ones who make me hate the ethnic group as a whole. I’ve slept on the floor before. It was the best thing I ever did for my back.
At least we gave u accommodation, I have lived with somebody before that I gave my house to live with the key and even when I come around we sleep in the same bed, cause I no dae reason am.

But do u know that when I visited his base where he lives to do something in the state since I didnt want to waste money on hotel bills, na ground I dae sleep with only pillow, I couldn't even enter his second room. Despite the fact that he had a big sofa, it was only his bro who could sleep on the sofa, when he wasn't around na still ground I dae.

FYI he was Yoruba. But does that mean I should start hating him?

Just the fact that I had somewhere to rest my head I was OK though he later told me to leave, I appreciate him.

In this life expect anything from anyone, even the person u helped in the past can fvck u up, when the table is turned, not to talk of someone who owes u nothing Mr scoundrel

Wizzy is still grateful to banky till date.

It's normal for we Nigerians to always try to take advantage of people when it matters.

Just like the mentality we have that a company is doing is a favour by employing us. So we honourably accept whatever is thrown at us.

It runs in our veins
Cynthia Morgan is not saying the truth.

First of all even the Psquare did the discover that after they separated they had to open different YouTube and vevo accounts, even Davido after he left Hkn he had to open a new YouTube account called Davidioofficial.

These people didnt complain, cause they knew their talents ans were leaving because they knew their worth. And it showed.

Cynthia Morgan left and after 5years started saying she failed because of how Jude treated her 5years ago, Jude treated her bad but she left and took control is it Jude's fault that she wasn't up to standard?

I hate to hear all these artists stories to be honest.

Why do they always have something bad to say about others when they all breakthrough. All these stories, ko neccessary mehn.
If not for the fact that wizkid is successful now, if him talk him story with banky w, it would seem asif banky was evil

She didn't tell us what Jude did to her.

Even peter right now, that his music career is down would he blame it on Jude?

Owerri craze seems to continue.
But when shall Imo get elite class that understands that Owerri can’t contain one-quarter of the population of Imo state?

Enugu state had to prop up a new governor from Nsukka zone to modernize Nsukka area for population shift from Enugu. Gov Ugwuanyi is just doing that.

Abia state had to prop up a new governor from Aba zone to work on the dilapidated infrastructures in Aba and environs. Gov Ikpeazu is just doing that. Few talk about Umuahia these days as before.

In Imo, just provide durable source for public water supply and tertiary education institutions in Orlu and Okigwe areas, that’s all it shall take for modernity and population shift to both areas.

If the people of Imo state talking about, and craving more government infrastructures and institutions only in Owerri, also campaign for modern development infrastructures and institutions for Orlu and Okigwe areas, at least, to save Owerri from becoming a chaotic city, the governors would have listened to them.
To me okigew area doesn't really need tertiary institution as Absu is already close to it, I think they should site it in mbano area

Maadoo:
Ignorance is a bad thing

1) First of all, no factory will be sited in owerri, except at the outskirts. Government will have to create an industrial zone if there is none. Places like Oguta, ohaji, Awonmama, Mgbidi, Obinze,Naze are fertile zones for industries.

2) The hotels/ Clubs/Bars/Restaurants/ Malls/ Grocery stores/ etc in owerri make up the Hospitality/leisure/Recreational industry. The same way buses(both long distance and intercity), plane, bikes, keke all make up the transport industry. So yes, building an hotel or any of the mentioned is not a waste. People were employed in building them, an architect drew the building plan, someone sold the land, supplied the sand, cement, wood, stones gravel etc. And in running the hotel also, people will be employed as well as other affiliated service will be created

3) Building a power generator is the DUTY of the federal government, not even the state government can.

4) A world class stadium is not a bad idea, but who will build it? Who will use it? Who will maintain it? Does owerri have a competitive advantage in sports and sport affiliated businesses? And who makes the final decision in building such a facility, Government or the private investor?

5) Finally, all states or cities, don’t have to be factory zones. Let Anambra and Abia continue with their factory development, while Ebonyi focus on agriculture and solid minerals. After working and making money, then come down to Owerri or Enugu to enjoy your money. If we build factories in all our cities, we are still going to be the ones to complain about Air and water pollution sometimes in the future.

How many factories do you have in Dubai, yet people troop there for work and leisure? Use you head and stop exposing your ignorance. For every hotel or mall or supermarket or whatever that is built, value have been added to the economy of the state, just as value of land have increased.if nigeria was a working country where policies are consistent and functional, do you know how much money can be made from taxes on land use, asides taxes from businesses?
This assertion is very false.

IMO state hospitality business ain't favorable.

Even if we can't focus on industries we should focus on ict

Yampotatocarrot:
Well, every state has something that works for them. Imo has decided to pick the hospitality business and it is working for them. Let me add that putting aside personal bias, some of the hotels in Imo state will stand side-by-side with major hotels in Lagos. Only thing they don't have yet is *a known brand*, which I believe they are working on.

We should note that the presence of hospitality has opened business for other sectors such as agriculture sector..

So, I don't think there is anything wrong with Imo state being a hub for hospitality in the south east
Imi state needs to diversify. The hospitality business is not viable and favourable to us

My friend, you are claiming igbo but I'm yet to see the igbo blood in you. Ohaneze Ndiigbo has been clamouring for a transparent census that includes ethnicity, religion, but Nigeria government is shying away from it. Igboland is not south east and the thread is talking about ethnic census not regional census.
Its only the igbos who demand a transparent census with ethnicity and religion in Nigeria, it's only the igbos who demand for equity and justice in Nigeria, It's only the igbo who demand for fairness and level playing ground. Because they know they are the largest single ethnic group in Nigeria, they know they can do better, they know they can play well, but other Nigerians are shying away from it. Some hide under one Nigeria to form sophistication.
I sensed your base is not in igboland that's why you are talking ill of igbo self determination. One thing you must know is those who are agitating for Biafra are by far more than all you outside igboland. The well being of millions of igbos in igboland is much more important than the investments you are trying to protect.
These are the lies you tell yourselves just to feel right.

You always shoot urselves on the foot, where you are too much in a haste, if they were to do any census that you people are pushing for, and it turns out the south east has become the least populated region. Are u aware that federal allocations to us would reduce drastically?

Are u aware that if they do any new census and put tribe that same u is pushing for, and it turns out igbo population is no longer 3rd largest that maybe a northern or another southern tribe has taken over, then we start being treated as a minority ba still una go complain.

Its this same haste that made our people refuse secession clause proposed by the west 10years later we start crying that we want to seceed.
This same haste made us see that there was crisis in the west we carry the matter for head go start coup, start to regret later.
Its this same haste that has been fvcking us up over and over again sense our people no want get.

Even till now we still make foolish mistakes cause we can't think strategically.

U are following Nnamdi Kanu, someone who single handedly handed over Presidency to Buhari on a platter of gold, then u come online and start crying up and down that u dont want Buhari.

Its cause of the way a lot of u think that will make me never support Biafra, a lot of igbos are being lied to, they don't know the reality on ground, but they have been indoctrinated with this lies that they don't want to hear or even accept truth.
