Most times you foolishly join other fools to rain down your own. IPOB is obviously populated by youths without tact and brain. And if these are the youths that would lead us into the utopian Biafra then we've a problem. You always want things to be done Nnamdi Kanu's style. A style of all talks without strategy and diplomacy.
It's obvious that you folks are bereft of concrete ideas on how to go about this struggle. Many of you plan to draw us into an unprepared conflict with the Federal Government. Unknownwingly, you are playing into the hands of your enemies who have always wish harm on you and we know who these vermins are.
It's high time IPOB separate themselves from the selfish tactics of Nnamdi Kanu and embrace a full non-aggressive struggle devoid of conflict. Because a conflicts of any disguise wont favour our people. The likes of Rochas and Ohaneze knows this and no true Igbo son would allow bloodshed flow in his homeland, not to talk our people in the north.
I think it's time people with brains start owning this struggle. Uchenna Madu from the look of things is diplomatic and a true representation of a non-violent protest. He is the epitome of the true ideals of MASSOB. The dude understand the dynamics of Nigeria better than Kanu and his brain dead deputy Uche Mefor. We cannot afford to lose thousands of lives because of an Nnamdi Kanu who deliberately allowed himself to be cornered by the DSS.

I love you for this.

how i wish we can all reason like this. many other region wants to go there own way too...but surely not through this devilish way. it is too archaic and will not yield the right result. Just the very reason am very angree with the Igbo youths and their tactics.

One thing many people , especially non Igbos , dont understand is that every Igbo man has that Biafra spirit. We believe we will fare better staying alone or with through federalism. I may not believe in the approach Nnamdi Kanu is using to actualize Biafra but know it that when the chips are down every Igbo will support the push for secession.

That is the point. Nnamdi Kalu's method weakens me.

At the same time shooting stray bullets into a massive crowd like that is plain murder! For goodness sake JTF could have used tear gas or even plastic bullets, now lives are lost, dreams were cut short and so many families drowning in tears. Is Nnamdi Kanu worth the price of all those lives lost? How come we didn't see the IPOB leaders leading the protest? When will Nigerian youths stop being scape goats?

You don't go to war with tear gas and rubber bullets. This is WAR!!! Face it

Haha! This rumoured Igbo and yoruba kinship would keep giving researchers sleepless nights because of the many loop holes in West African history.
Lol,according to Acholonu, Igbo and Yoruba were same people before Eri and Oduduwa arrived. According to her, both of them were brothers since they came through same mysterious circumstances but the later went ahead to corrupt the proto language spoken by igbos and yoruba cos he wanted to rule over the people he met. That is why Igbo and yoruba languages are different today. Apart from that,he also introduced his culture and way of life to his new converts(yorubas).
Lol! No piece of work should be bashed unless you have a contrary view or opinion supported by the literary world. I guess the lesson to draw out of this,is that Igbos and Yorubas, including the Edos had some form of kinship in pre historic history, unfortunately, oral records couldn't retain all of it.

P.s This is Acholonu's position on this issue not mine before some people start being tribalistic.

Thank you.
We are on the same page and reasoning similarly
Education / Growth Strategies For Schools by cole265(m): 8:58am On Nov 24, 2015
An overall goal for school growth should be aimed at achieving the school’s vision and mission statements. It is noticed recently, that most well meaning school’s vision and mission statements are obviously directed towards producing and developing confident, well rounded, successful global citizens. This surely is a desire of the 21st century education.
School proprietors’ growth strategy should therefore start with working earnestly and vigorously towards advertising and achieving their laudable vision and mission statements. Success in the advertisement will attract the fancy of the majority (prospective parents and students) who will show interest in knowing if the school can “work the talk” or is “working the talk”.
Growth strategy for schools should therefore hinge on:-
i. Advertisement: to attract the majority (Prospective parents and students).
ii. Achievement: demonstrating the ability to “work the talk” (to live the vision and mission statements)
Advertisement and consolidation strategies: (continuous but more intense in the first and second year)
• Attend and participate corporately in most education fairs locally and abroad
• Adopt and partner with lots of upcoming and established primary schools.
• Attend or be represented at primary school’s graduation, founders’ day, sports day etc. prizes and awards could be donated in the name of the school. (…for secondary school owners)
• Make contributions and statements to topical national and international issues, especially on education.
• Host educational events and activities such as sports, cultural displays, debate and quizzes on the school ground that will attract lots of visitors to the school.
• Hire out school facilities for corporate groups, society or associations to organize events such as interviews, examinations, meetings, tutorials, etc
• Become very active in the AISEN (Association of International School Educators in Nigeria) sports, cultural and other activities.
• Organise school trips within and outside the country
• Participate and register students for competitions in all areas of education within and outside the country.
• Partner with various associations of Nigeria communities all around the world. Attend their functions.
Achievement and consolidation strategies: (starts from the first year and is intensified through to the fourth year)
Growth strategy with regards to achievement is categorized into four key areas. Each category is detailed into developing the various related topics as listed below.
• Pupils / Students:
i. Admissions: - a well structured admission system with a full school enrolment for all classes.
ii. Behavior: - create a code of conduct which will set very high standards of behavior for pupils.
iii. Welfare:- ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils
iv. Administration / records:- develop the effective management of pupils and the administration of pupil records
v. Boarding: - ensure the success of the hostel boarding arrangement

• Programme / Curriculum
i. Core instruction and Assessment:- each subject should be organised and structured to ensure compliance to the school’s policy of standardisation
ii. Support and Extension: - to develop a coherent and effective subject led intervention and improve provision for students with learning variances.
iii. Learning areas:- each subject will be motivated to be the expression of the vibrant curriculum
iv. Promotion, retention and rewards: - to ensure pupils highest levels of achievement is attained.
v. Co-curricular: - to fully develop pupils’ skills, values, capacities and interest beyond the classroom.

• Physical building / Facilities
i. Buildings: - ensure that the buildings and the facilities are clean, functional and aesthetically pleasing.
ii. Facilities and resources: - to establish refurbishment and improvement of teaching and learning centers.
iii. Transport: - ensure the functionality, safety and aesthetics of the school transport system

• Personnel / Manpower
i. Employment practices: - develop strategies to recruit and retain high quality staff
ii. Job descriptions: - create clear job roles and lines of accountability
iii. Employee disciplines and rules: - ensure that the conduct of all staff is exemplary to the pupils and the community.
iv. Employee Appraisal policy: - develop a rigorous appraisal system
v. Staff development: - to offer staff high quality, relevant, continuous and professional development

Culture / Did The Igbos Truly Originate From Isreal (jew) Or From Ile-ife? by cole265(m): 11:30am On Nov 23, 2015
This is a personal investigation and study. After careful consideration, I came up with this possibility of the Igbo’s actually originating from Ile-Ife.
Many historians, philosophers, sociologists, archaeologists and anthropologists have raised a lot of dust on this issue. A lot of views have been proffered but yet the origin of the Igbo’s remained a mirage. A book by Dr. Elizabeth Isichei titled “History of the Igbo People” talked about an elderly Mbaise man from Imo State of Nigeria, who maintained that the Igbo’s did not come from anywhere. But the fact remains that the Igbo’s must come from somewhere beyond the limited knowledge of the Mbaise elder.
Another claim seeks to establish that the ancestors of the Igbo are originated from the area they inhabit, presently known as Awka-Okigwe. Hence, the communities known as Umu-Nri regard themselves as the descendants of a hero called Eri, who along with his wife, Nnamaku, was sent down from the sky by Chukwu, the Igbo supreme God. This is very similar to one of the claims associated with the origin of the Yorubas and the coming of Oduduwa who was let down from heaven by a chain. No doubt, you will agree that these claims sound just like fairy tales and unbelievable.
Majority of Igbo’s are satisfied to accept the Israel (Jew) hypothesis. This assumption however is begging for support by testimonies of oral tradition and archaeological evidence. The origin of the Yoruba on the other hand with a similar theory clearly makes sense, as it is believed that their primary descendents, the Odudua, came from Egypt. This assumption is based on the resemblance of the sculptures found in Egypt and the sculptures found in the mythological center of Yorubalnd, in the city of Ife-Ife.
Based on my careful contemplation, it is safe to postulate that the Igbos were part of the original inhabitants of ile-Ife before the arrival of Odudua. So much similarities in the language; take for instance,
The mouth in Igbo is called “onu” in Yoruba it is called “enu”,
The nose in Igbo is called “imi”, in Yoruba; it is called ‘imu”,
The hand in Igbo is called “aka”, in Yoruba; it is called “apa”
So, so, so many similar words....this can’t be mare coincidence!
Certainly not all the original in habitants of Ile-Ife and it’s environ before the arrival of Oduduawa from Egypt accepted him. Surely, some revolted against the politics, religion and the eastern civilisation brought by Odudua. They therefore receded into the bush (hinterland) away from the reach and influence of Odudua’s culture. These set of people were nicknamed the Bush people – “Ara Igbo” which eventually became the Igbo’s. As the Odudua land expands, the “Ara Igbo’s” further retracts into the hinterlands until they now occupy the place none as the Eastern Nigeria.
This is not an intension to undermine any tribe, but simple thoughts to try and solve the riddle of the Igbo origin. It is also to highlight the fact that the Igbo’s and the Yoruba’s have very close linkage and are true brothers and sisters.
