rose54321: My brother, condemn the man action. You can criticise the president and call him any name directly or indirectly like we all are doing on social media every now and then. But the man's action and those of his cohorts now on the run is abnormal. It is capable of creating serious crisis in the state. Thank God the Housa man displayed unusual sense (not characteristics of of the northerners) to report the matter to the police ( very civilised) Imagine an Housa man parading a monkey with the inscription of ojukwu at uperiwaka in Onicha during the burial week of Chief Ojukwu. The man is very foolish. I sure trust you personally will not behave stupidly. Igbos re smart people now...what is really happening 5 Likes |

ivandragon: Not that I support the arrest of the dog owner o. But ur example of a goat being named after Jonah no hold water o. Perhaps there was no issue from that because pple actually believed Jonah chopping of yam is very much like that of a goat...and kind of agree that GEJ resemble the goat. |

[quote author=fiizznation post=48714478] You shut up my friend. Only a sick fellow like the ugly lunatic up there will inscribed the name of a seating president on a dog hoping his action will spark some sort of crisis. He should thank his star that the issue is handled in a civilized manner. Why didn't he inscribed ojukwu's name or any of his leaders cognomen on the said dog if he wants to show how miserable his life is? You don't go about looking for trouble and when that trouble finally finds you, you begin to play the victim card. Maybe if he'd call his name buhari without inscribing buhari's name on the dog, just maybe nobody will have any problem with him. But what that sick fellow did is an 'act of provocation', a breach of public peace and an evil intention to instigate violence. Like I said earlier, he should thank his very tiny star that the authority stepped in to calm every boiling nerve down. Again he should thank his 'very very tiny star'. [ The police got it wrong at the point when they had to re-arrest the man. They should have counselled both parties and ensure the matter is put to rest instead of escalating it to this point. The man who reported to the police did the right thing instead of taking laws into his hand and instigating violence and communal clash. He could truly be offended by the action especially as he claimed it has got something to do with his dad Alhaji Buhari. More to the fact that there was apparent animosity between both community. The owner of the dog has the right to name his dog by any name. He could be wrong however, if he did it maliciously to spite others and instigate crisis. The real culprit here is the police, for not managing the issue well. The two parties could have been educated and the matter settled amicably...but they choose to make issue out of it. Now enough of this useless nonsense. We Nigerians should work more on living together happily than get excited about issues that further divide us. 1 Like |

frinx: If you follow this matter carefully, you will understand what this Northern guy is grouseing about. I always view things as objective as possible to reach the crux. It is not about the president. He has been called worse names and even wished death and he never show any concerns, just like many other former presidents and public figures. Intact Aisha directly called someone a bull dog bla bla bla. This Northern guy said he is only trying to avoid communal clash. Go read the tory again |
