Thank you ojare. It's a matter of creativity and gut. It reminds me of how a friend got a lecturing job at a college of education. He merely wrote to the provost of the college he read about in a news paper of the challenges the provost was facing with the lecturers and staff of the college. He praised him in the letter and related his personal challenge about getting a job and if how he would love to work for him at the college . Bravo! That was how he got his job.

If they hadn't stopped her from breaking free and rather enjoined her to keep enduring evil she'd probably be alive today and better for it. At least the children would be sure of their fates.

Is it now that she's dead and the irresponsible father is probably jail bound that her staying because of the children will make a difference?

Women should never endure violence in marriage worst still with the abuser being a leech as well! Some are locked down because they're stripped of economic n financial wherewithal whilst still producing children but in this case, this woman was the provider. Family sentiments however consigned her to definite death! Probably if she had insisted and left the devil, her own family would have forsaken her and cast her aside. Now fear of losing family support has guaranteed her death.

I hope this family will take full responsibility for her 5 children! Families should support their own especially in clear abuse cases like this. No man has any excuse or justification for being a beast!

Once more may her gentle soul rest on...

This is becoming a good topic for research work. Home violence. Spouse killing each other. Especially the husband killing the wife. One thing is common in all the narratives...the husband is out of job, he becomes frustrated and paranoid as a result, accuses wife of infidelity, take to heavy drinking and drug, easily get agree and eventually violently kills the wife...

My questions huh

Are all these avoidable?

Don't the wife notice or have clues of all this possibilities when dating b4 marriage?

Where things usually truly rosy when the husband had a job and was the bread winner?

Why then does the wife not completely submissive as it were when he was the bread winner?

Why does she wants to play the bread winner role sometimes to spite the man?

Why is she glued to the union in the face of obvious love lost?

Could her continued endurance be due to genuine love for the man or cultural and children involved factors as have been insinuated?

Condemn able no doubt is the man's violent act of killing the spouse, but considering other resultant factors (avoidable)...Especially to prevent re occurring of this ugly menace in our society, can't we consider strongly preventive measures rather than condemning the man after the evil has been done?
