Jaybye: As long as those documents can prove the following; that you are a confirmed employee, show your employment date(s), show your working hours/state that you are working full time (or part time as the case may be), indicate your salary per month/annum, inform them of your roles and are on a letter-head bearing the organisation's name, address and contact details, I think those documents, when merged into one (if you wish), will fly. Brother Collin, those details I listed above are what I believe are required in a reference letter. All the best! Thank you for your response. Must the letter say confirmed staff? I am still on probation and it was stated in my contract that I have to work 1 year minimum before being confirmed |

ednut1: doesn't prove he did the work. Your letter may say something while your actual roles in the company differs. @collineno have you added nysc Yes I have obtained my NYSC reference letter, although no job duties were stated but it states every other thing like salary, date of employment e.t.c. can I use it to claim work experience?? |

Hello guys I just got a new job and was wondering if I can use only my current employment letter, payslips and JD sent to me by the HR instead of the work reference letter thing for my application.
I am still on probation and don't want the company to start having negative thoughts about me leaving the organisation
If I add the new company experience that will shoot me to having 3years work experience.
Has anyone successfully obtained PR by just using employment letter, payslips and JD of current job? |

Please help oooo My former employer doesn't want to address my work reference letter as To whom it may concern. They prefer to send it to an actual person. Please does anyone know the correct mailing address to send the work reference letter to? |

COPR2020: You have no work experience and cant claim points for it. Advise is to be patient and work additional one year Okay thanks for your response. How about if I approximate 2 years 7months to 3 years work experience. Will it count against me? At least one can round off 7 months to 1 year right? |

Collineno: Hello gurus in the house,
I finally obtained a work reference letter from my NYSC PPA. They refused to add my NOC duties as an Electrical/Electronics Engineer. They said that I didn't perform such duties as a corper but instead they wrote I was exposed to basic site inspections and skills (Electrical/Electronics Engineering).
Every other details like date of placement, stipend, hours of work were clearly stated.
Please how do I convince Canny of the duties I performed since my PPA refused to state that in the letter.
Finally, can I still use the NOC of an Electrical/Electronics Engineer when making my application Please assit me on this |

ednut1: you didn't do anything like you said. You can't use the experience You know how ministry work is in Nigeria especially for a corper. We don't do anything. However, I was paid for it aside my normal 19,800 allowee. No duties were actually assigned to corpers. They only wrote site inspections and skills. It got me more confused |

pyruvateluv: Why dont use the 19800 allawee. Anyways, it wont be rejected, but add a salary certificate to the reference letter since you were paud in cash(this should also be cited on the reference letter too) I used the exact amount my PPA paid me because I am not sure the GM will sign it on sighting 19800. Besides the NYSC account used then has closed down since like 3years ago. What is this salary certificate? Does the GM need to sign it too? |

Hello does it matter the amount one is paid at work? For example during my NYSC my PPA paid me 10k per month by cash. If I get work reference letter from my PPA stating that I was paid 10k by cash will they reject my application based on the fact that the salary is very little? A year is 120k. Gurus in the house please help. |

Chidoo1234: yes, you must send waec transcript to WES. but you have to visit the Waec office at yaba for that Thank you for your response. Do you know if I will need to pay for that? and how much to pay? Besides am completing a foreign masters degree don't know if I will still need to go through this WAEC struggle. My bachelor degree was in Nigeria. Please house what would you advise I do? |

Hello guys I saw on WES website that WAEC scratch card is required as the third option. Does that mean it would be enough to verify my WAEC result? Do I still need to send them an official result from WAEC office? |

tolfa: About work experience, you can't approximate the numbers. Besides, no difference between one and two years work experience on the CRS calculator. As per your NOC, your job duties will determine that, not job title. Try and post the job duties, hopefully someone will help you out The job duties includes monitoring of IT system performance and server capacity utilization, First level Technical support of IT applications, Escalating critical issues to second and third level technical support team. Deployment of new IT applications. What will be the NOC for this job duties please? |
