tbaba1234: It is under this administration that our troops went to Mali without boots or guns... What are we talking about??
Nigeria was one of several west African countries that sent 3,000 soldiers to help regain control of Mali’s north from Islamic extremists. “When the Nigerians said they’d send troops, we all breathed a sigh of relief,” recalled one Western diplomat based in Abuja, the capital, who requested anonymity. “But they turned up—quite literally, in some cases—without boots or guns. That was a real wake-up call.” http://gga.org/stories/editions/aif-30-broken-ranks/wounded-eagles#.VMyki7fm37o.twitter
Weapons need constant repair and renewal.. The Nigerian army went to sierra leone and Liberia and restored peace.
There is a fundamental problem with our military and I do not believe GEJ can fix it. One minute you are saying boko haram gets its weapons from Nigerian military, the next you are saying the same Nigerian military do not have guns, what is your point exactly? |

tbaba1234: Yes but not with them in Nigeria's territory.
A 1998 Nigerian army would have crushed BH. Nigeria isn't the first, neither will it be the last country to have troops from other countries fight insurgents or rebels in its territory. Chad is our neighbor, AU is about to send 7500 men from all over Africa to Nigeria for the purpose of fighting the same group. If our army would have crushed BH in 1998 why is the OP crying about weapons? Were the weapons they had in 1998 sold off or what? |

Boko haram insurgency is centered in an area bordering about 4 countries. There is no way Nigeria can defeat them without the help of those countries. |

If you don't tell us the special weapons the Chadians are coming with that Nigerian military doesn't have.....may God punish you for this post. Some of you know what the real problem is but keep living in denial. Next is to accuse Chad of genocide and human right abuse. Rubbish! |

doctokwus: With all due respect to you.Though the period wen this sale occurred was not given,it likely occurred with children from his first marriage. At present GMB doesn't have any house in abuja or Lagos which no other high placed public official can say for his/herself. U pple were insinuating he cudnt have been able to fund the kids education abroad without embezzling public funds. Here is d proof he didn't!Why can't u admit that for once,it wudnt take anything away from u!! Chris, look for another lie to tell us. So his daughters from his first marriage also schooled abroad? Which house did he sell to train the ones presently in the UK? We know the daughters that have been in the news recently so there is no twisting this one. |

doctokwus: Its even most likely this was several yrs ago. Its his unparalleled honesty and integrity that made him sell what he felt was of no significant value to his life to fund his children's education. He cud easily have borrowed money from a bank with no intention of paying back as the flock that throng GEJ are notorious for. Several years ago and those daughters are still in school? Abegi tell us another story. |

SomebodyLovesMe: Education in this country is a shambles. See an example above.
If Buhari had a house in Ikoyi (past tense), and the house was sold (past tense), how could you say that he 'has' houses in Ikoyi (present tense)? The story of Buhari having just one house in Daura and squatting in friends' houses whenever he is in Lagos or Abuja did not start today, his agents have been peddling it since he started contesting elections. So why are they now telling us that he sold a house in Ikoyi RECENTLY? |

Effiong
Does that name sound Igbo to you.? So because Effiong was second in command to Ojukwu, it means that everyone from the different tribes in the SS are interested in your by force union? Tell me one person from the SS that is regurgitating this SE/SS nonsense like you do today. |

Please read sunset in Biafra and you will see where the author acknowledged Ojukwu's meeting with leaders of all ethnic nations of old Eastern region.
Remember that the author was an anti Igbo traceable to Zik's anti minority policy
Guy
Go back and study our history
Even before Ojukwu died , he rebuilt the ancient bridge destroyed by Zik. After the so called meeting what happened? Have you heard one SS person yelling this nonsense SE/SS you always do? Where is the bridge Ojukwu built and what is its effect? Can't you relate or do business with the SS people without necessarily forcing them to be one with you? People like you disgrace Igbos. |
