Otti has shown these fools that it's no longer business as usual.

The guy hold PDP for ground.

I thank God things are the way they are now. The fools thought the election would be a walk in the park but God sent His son Otti to redeem the state.

To God be the glory.
If the PDP is really leading by the margin above, then there is no hope for APGA o! They should make sure that those results that were brought back are cancelled again or get the election totally cancelled.

Correct transcript of that video
Total number of registered voters in areas that were cancelled: 179 224
lead (presumably APGA's) : 83 059.

ididnt hear where he said apga is leading by 33,000 votes.
It sounded like 33 in my ears at first, I was wrong, it's 83 059. Although he didn't mention the party that is leading, I believe it is APGA because they are the ones celeberating.

But he clearly stated in d video that d margin of victory I'd 83053,yet u are stating that APGA is winning with 33000.How did u come about your own info?
If Abians cannot resist a family, then they are not ready for liberation and deserve no pity.
Orji Uzor ruled d state with his mother for 8 yrs and abians celebrated his mediocre rule, another criminal has ruled for 8yrs and wants to impose his stooge, another confirmed criminal and yet about 3million people cannot rise up in a common voice to say no,it means d inhabitants are in love with their nightmare.

What you heard is the Taraba result, that is where PDP is leading with over 50 000.
In Abia, APGA is leading with 33 000, while total number of registered voters in cancelled areas is over 400 000.

No, it gives room for the elections in those LGAs to be monitored more closely and for Security agents to concenterate. Rigging will be impossible.

Don‘t tell me these o! The useless old Orji must go!
This is a sign that he is on the way out.
They tried to rig elections in the places that were cancelled and get a heavily inflated result that will Override Otti's lead but many factors were against them: the state's INEC officer was too stubborn for them, the international observers insisted that elections didn't hold in those places, the police commisioner supported the stance of APGA's agent that ballot boxes were snatched, people of Abia were out and ready to burn down the place.
The forces were just too much against T A Orji.

I told those who were mocking him after the Presidential elections that the man did the right thing by joining the winning party in his state.
The Presidential and National assembly result in Rivers was a clear sign that PDP is the only party in the state, yet people kept mocking him. Now that the party has won the state's Gubernatorial election with a landslide, doesn't it prove that he made the right decision by leaving the sinking ship of APC at the dying minute?

Now that Amaechi's political irrelevance has been proven beyond doubt by his own people, let us see the position he can get in Abuja (if he can declare his assets)

Now this is really confusing. INEC says elections are inconclusive, so how come the celebrations has already started?... or are the number of PVCs collected truly less than the gap in votes?
The PVCs collected are more than the gap in votes, but what about the turn out? It is also unlikely for Ihedioha to get 79 000 more than Rochas from those places

The difference between Okorocha and Amaechi is that Okorocha did not spend his time blasting Jonathan at every turn. He handled his opposition tactically knowing that his people are in love with the man.
Amaechi did the complete opposite and attracted resentment to himself.

Rochas will win even after the supplementary elections.
It is interesting to see how the next 4 years will turn out for my state. It is clear that Rochas wants to contest for Presidency by 2019.
1) Will he work hard to turn Imo state around and let his performance speak for him when campaigning for Presidency?

Or

2) Will he resort to his usual pattern of claiming that it is Igbos turn to rule and he is supposed to be the only Igbo politician with nationwide acceptance?

If he does the first, very good for the state. If he keeps doing the second, I weep for my beloved state.

Okorocha's argument is very spot on.

It is the number of PVC's collected that should be considered in arriving at a decision on whether a rerun is required in the affected LG or not.

If PVC's collected is less than the gap between him and Iheodia, there is no point in wasting resources for another election there.

Even by considering the registered voters, you do not expect a 70% turnout on election date and it is also save to say that Okorocha will get at least 50% of the votes in the LG affected since it is his stronghold area.

No how you spin this, APC's Okorocha has won this election.
Okorocha will win, but INEC is right.
The state's average PVC collections is 96% so I don't see the PVC collection rate of those areas being lower than 80%. The issue of turn up is just mere guess work, they cannot use that to make a decision.

MaziOmenuko:
Why is INEC wasting tax payers money on a supplementary election that is not needed? The total number of people going to participate in this supplementary is less than 79,000, a margin Okorocha is currently winning with. WHy base their supplementary on registered voters when less than 50% of those registered voters had their PVC?

This beats logic: but ROchas should go ahead and humor them. Let them organize election for less than 79,000 people when he is leading by more than that margin: he should even encourage all his supporters to desist from voting; let PDP have all the votes from the supplementary and still lose.
I don't know why you guys took what Okorocha said as fact, the tone of his statement showed that he was only making an assumption.
Imo state had a 96% PVC collection rate, I don't think that of the concerned areas will be much lower than the state average!

If the number of registered voters is 144,000, he leads by 79,000 votes..that's grounds for it being inconclusive

But if the number of PVCs collected is not up to 79,000, that is a victory but so as not to disenfranchise people, they must vote but he still wins

If you read carefully, you will see that Rochas wasn't sure of what he said, he only made an assumption.
Unfortunately, he didn't consider the fact that Imo state had a 96% PVC collection rate!
Anyway he'll still win, but INEC did the right thing.

No weapon fashioned against Rochas will proper in Jesus name. Amen!

I love Imo people. They have always been the most liberal SE state. They are wise enough to appreciate the gem in Owelle and vote for him despite his "Hausa/Yoruba" party. God bless Imolites!

I suspect the kicks against the election result are from elites from other SE states who cannot stand a fellow SE state going to an "infidel" party. But they will fail woefully. By the grace of God Rochas will come out with even more lead.
Shut up! The over 300 000 people who voted for PDP are also Imolites, the contest is a close one and there are bound to be disagreements. Rochas is the only APC candidate in the South East who is incumbent, you cannot compare him with other APC candidates in the region.
