What Igbos need is a stand alone political party but unfortunately they have killed Apga. This new found alliance with the south south is an unholy alliance judging with the past.
Wait till Saturday before pronouncing APGA. dead.

I got no problems with whatever Rivers residents choose but it's treasoable offence for Wike to threaten war against Nigeria. He really needs to be picked up already.
He will be picked up after the Oba of Lagos has been sentenced.

Wike stop dragging the SE (Igbos) into your personal politics. Igbo's supported Buhari too. Politics is not a do or die affair. Before you start a war, first return the so called "abandoned properties" back to Igbos.
We don't want war again. The war has been fought 45 years ago and lost. We believe in one Nigeria. A fair Nigeria where we can all co-exist. Where our properties and investments are secure even in the face of political disagreements.
Have you noticed that during the civil war the Igbos fought against the SE and North, but our properties remained intact after the war ended. We didn't fight against your people the SS, but you seized our properties.
Start by working with Jonathan and all prominent SS politicians to return our properties, before dragging us to war.
We are not interested in another war.
Unlike the SS, the SW have been excellent host to us.
Instead of fighting, think of building a formidable opposition to APC.
In a democracy, the opposition can be just as strong.
Who appointed this one as spokesman for the Igbos? Common shut up there!

With oil producing states in the opposition, for the first time we will have elected officials (governors, senators, reps) leading the clamour for control of their resources rather than militants and other pressure groups.
The elected officials have been silent about this in the past because of their so called alignment with the center.
The next 4 years will be like never seen before in Nigeria.

This is what I wrote in another thread even before hearing this statement from Wike.
Collynzo9:
Amaechi killed and buried PDP in Rivers, but Wike single handedly brought the dry bones back to life even while he was still a minister.
PDP is now the only party in Rivers state.
A strong man like Wike governing Rivers is an asset to the opposition and Nigerians in general.

This is not good for our democracy. We need a strong opposition to the APC that will put everyone on their toe.
That is why we need strong men like Wike in charge of key states like Rivers.
That man brought PDP back to live in Rivers after Amaechi killed it, he can do it nationally.

But his ideas on power are working in Lagos.

I sincerely wish he gets the portfolio.
The idea that powering a few street lights and government offices with 2MW generators is more important that supplying electricity to homes and industries?
Please let that idea be restricted to Lagos or even the South west.
We don't need it here.

I heard Ibo people lack respect. Yours is classic.
There is no amount of insult Igbos will give the Oba that will come close to what Yorubas gave to President Jonathan.
Anyone who wants to insult the Oba should feel free to do so, afterall he is a mere Tinubu stooge.

see your life -- so building power stations is now a waste of money....

You are confused -- Do you want 24hr electricity or not
2 megawatts generators cannot give me 24 hours electricity.

I said it before that the 600 000 with which Buhari won in the South west was wiped out by Anambra alone.
The likes of Kwankwaso will always remind them of that when the make too much demands.

If you did watch it, did it look like it was doctored or the raw clip of what went on that day? Irrespective of the TV channel that aired it won't it be fair to say that the masterminds of the captured acts were in-fact against the Political party: APC?
I am not calling APC saint nor sinner likewise PDP, but my message is clear; BRING ALL PERPS to BOOK!
Your comment really has nothing to do with my post.
However, I must say that there is really nothing in that documentary that call alter the results of the Rivers election. A large chunk of the video was spent interviewing APC members who gave obviously biased opinions.
At a point in the documentary, the narrator mentioned that they were about to show a scene where INEC officials were thumb printing ballot papers, I opened my eyes wide and even went closer to the TV, but instead of me to see the so called thumb printing action, they showed some INEC officials taking their materials back to their vehicles and then went back to interviewing BIASED APC members.

But I sometimes shudder to think; so if GEJ had won or northern votes had not neutralized d magic votes from d ss,people would have been praising GEJ for winning in a free/fair election?
Everyone knows those votes from rivers were a joke;jega just had to accept it because d outcome was still gonna be d same.
AIT is just trying to buy favors just like many other people and organisations are doing,I don't however see ait surviving for long because govt patronage would soon dwindle.
APC and Amaechi paid them to air the documentary or whatever you might want to call it, just the same way PDP paid them to air the others.
You guys keep fooling yourselves forming angry while the TV station keeps smiling to the bank with money from both parties.
