TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by colossus2: 1:12pm On Jul 19, 2016 |
TonySpike: The movie is not lame by my standards, it is just because you failed to understand the deeper context of the Martha moment. The moment Superman mentioned Martha's name, Batman froze because it reminded him of his Father's last word. That moment alone shows how traumatized Batman's past has been since the death of his mother. In today's world, Batman is a living PTSD zombie. If you follow the chronology of this movie very well, Batman is angry at anyone who claims he is a saviour partly because of the death of robin. In that scene, Lois came at the right time to explain how Lex had manipulated them all. At the end of the movie, Batman was able to see that he was the villain afterall because he failed to reason properly largely as a result of his pent-up anger and needed just the name "Martha" to come back to his senses. This is the way I understand the movie, it has a deeper psychology than you think! ✔✔✔ |

T3ndrils: Bro... listen. and answer this,... has hulk ever died? has he felt the heat of the underworld? not to talk of escaping it twice?.. and what's with all this world breaker hulk stuff, dude they are comics! haven't seen hulk smash any planet (neither in game nor movie). about the hammer, the great 'hulk' could'nt lift it and am not saying that kratos can either but there is a chance he can since the hammer is a godly stuff and kratos being the son of zeus may stand a chance. your last words "hulk never quit"... dude even ironman knocked him off in 'age of ultron'. saying that kratos became a god via athena's help dosen't matter afterall hulk is what he is by accident. kratos defeated upto 5 or 6 gods including hercules, but hulk could'nt even defeated one. i even doubt if hulk would stand a chance against dhoomsday. Dude, leave them with their comic book or whatever world breaker hulk no one has seen perform. Going by what they describe, no one then can defeat hulk. According to their comic logic, shegz is the best footballer in the world by reading comics other than watching shaolin soccer.

Cutezt: In 5 years time, wheeewww, first of all, I am a very reserved person, I am a positive minded individual with great vision, I am result oriented and a team player, with the few aforementioned qualities, I can say that with God's backing, in the next 5 years, I see myself at the peak of my career as a mass Communicator, say it is too small, but I believe a man is limited to what he thinks of himself, with the right belief, then nothing will hinder me, I have this yearn for justice, one of the main factors that influenced my decision to be a mass Communicator, is to expose the wrong doings, and give the masses a voice, I intend to give out accurate, factual and unbiased information to the public, which I have started doing already, because I double as a cinematographer, I do go to news stands and to the public with my team, in order to cover the hearts of the public, to give them a platform to express their despair, my works have been shown severally on TV, I intend to use the position I find myself to touch lives, to win souls, but most importantly, to give the people a voice.
B) First of all, every contestant here is a winner, we were all born to be winners, I admire the courage of all 30 contestants, Nairaland is a forum which attracts millions of viewers monthly, making up one's mind to contest for this amongst the millions on this forum, deserves to be acknowledged, let me use this opportunity to tell my fellow contestants that I ADMIRE THEIR COURAGE, and I wish them Goodluck in this, however, aside the past experience I have in pageantry, I feel I have even more edge over other contestants because I posses certain rare leadership qualities, throughout my life, I have come across so many people, young and old And in my journey in life, one way or the other, I always have that influence, I have been in the midst of people far older than me and I was amazed at how they all came to me for one issue or the other, they all look up to me, guess it's inbuilt, The quality of a leader is reflected in the standards they set for themselves. my set standard pulls them to me, In life, I realized that As a leader, you have to not only do the right thing, but be perceived to be doing the right thing. A consequence of seeking a leadership position is being put under intense public scrutiny, being held to high standards, and enhancing a reputation that is constantly under threat. You don't necessarily need a title to be a leader, this title is just but an added motivation, Winning this contest is not about the cheers of individuals, Winning is not about the waving of hands, not the popularity you will gain here, and in no way, just for the wearing of crown. It is more than that, leadership is not about glorious crowning acts. It's about keeping your team focused on a goal and motivated to do their best to achieve it, especially when the stakes are high and the consequences really matter. It is about laying the groundwork for others' success, and then standing back and letting them shine. To be a leader is difficult as it appears, you must be the absolute best in whatever you do, The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor, but without folly, Furthermore, conquering all others and grasping the crown is not simply being the most attractive of every one of them. It requires lots of work , to be grinned and to be spotlighted, as a leader, you are always in the spotlight, all eyes will be on you, and of course there are those who are watching your every move, looking for where you will go a little wrong, being a leader, you have to have a large heart, ready to take corrections, and be able to work with others, as a leader, you must poses a vision, because where there is no vision, the people perish, leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality , being a leader, you have to thread with caution because pride may accompany your role as a leader, so in every situation, you have to be low headed, winning this is not just about the looks, it's about your personality, the kind of person you carry in you, your attitude towards things, and your passion for humanity, I deserve to win this competition because I have this undying urge to serve, the first responsibility of a leader is to define reality and the last is to say thank you. In between, the leader is a servant, I want to serve this wonderful forum which I have learnt so much from, Moreover, the adventures and anamnesis I may experience here are past quantifiable on their value enlarging my social skyline and comprehension of individuals. I have all these qualities, and many more. The push behind my decision to contest is to grow mentally, and also, to boost my self-regard and self-confidence, In like manner, it is an incredible honor and respect to wind up as one of the contestants. This thrash is too long It's an interview that that requires brief answers. This is not a presentation |

ichommy: A Nigerian, Ejike Okoye, was nabbed on Tuesday by joint elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 3 (PDEA RO-3) and PDEA-National Capital Region (PDEA-NCR) in a drug sting inside a resto bar along Sumulong Highway in Philippines. He was caught in the act. According to Manila Bulletin, 33-year-old Ejike (alias "Martin" is said to be a member of West African Drug Syndicate operating in Metro Manila and nearby provinces of Central Luzon. PDEA RO-3 director Emerson Margate revealed that PDEA RO-3 agents were able to secure a drug deal from Okoye to purchase of 300 grams of shabu for PHP360,000. They agreed to meet inside the resto bar in Marikina City. That was where they arrested the suspect. Confiscated from the Ejike were six medium-sized resealable transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with a street value of PHP1,050,000 and the marked money used in the anti-drug operation. Ejike was brought in PDEA Jail Facility in the City of San Fernando for further investigation. http://www.emmanuelbabatunde.com/2016/07/photos-nigerian-ejike-okoye-nabbed-in.html
