i think chidebe asked why it is difficult to drop a christian sister after dating her for a while without church members raising brow? the thing is,as christians,we are not meant to date until God reveals our true partner.once that is done and the partner to-be is approached and other neccessary members of the church,courtship begins not dating.as far as i know,there's nowhere in the bible where DATING was encouraged.Mary was bethrothed to Joseph.Rebecca was brought to Isaac by Abraham's servant for immediate MARRIAGE.they did not date before marriage.this and other reasons are why church members assume that a brother and sister seen together are altar bound.

i started using make up 3 yrs after sec sch.cos it made me look older.u see,am somone who believes in natural beauty thats why am always on ponytail since my natural hair is long.i decided to start using makeup because whenever i went for job interview,i am always rejected cos of my childish looks.i dont need to tell u the outcome of my applying makeup. i think a girl should start using makeup when she attains adulthood cos thats when her looks start to mature and i believe a girl should enjoy girlhood before becoming an adult cos one cannot go back to being a girl once that phase is passed.as a young girl,my mum apply makeup on me only when going for outings or pictures afterwards i clean it off.i also believe that makeup should be applied in moderation and with skill.u can imagine a day i was returning from school with my friends and we saw a dark complexioned woman that applied silver coloured lipstick on her lips.the effect was terrible and we laughed our hearts out immediately she was outside earshot.really,i see girls who are beautiful naturally with makeup and i wonder if they are blind cos the look awful wearing it

hi everyone,plz help a sister out on this issue.i just found out that my fiance has been telling me lies.he just confessed to me recently about it and am looking for a logical reason and explanation towards why he told those lies.first,he told me that he was the eldest of 6 children,he later confessed that he's an only child.he lied about his surname and claimed another man as his father whereas his mum gave birth to him during her secondary schooldays though she's married now (i have met with the mum and she has met my parents.this was before he travelled ).the latest one is that he told me that he was going to further his education in oklahoma whereas he's presently in kenya.he made all these confessions on phone so now am puzzled.i dont know whether to leave him or not,so help me on this one,advice me before i go nuts
