MSGAMBLE9: what does an abuser has to say? Am pro-dirvoice if the union is not working instead of the man putting his career and livelihood on the line.
You claim to be a woman and you are yarning okoto, you are a disgrace to womanhood and worse than a dog
I prayed you end up with an abuser while you taste how the victims felt you're a disgrace to manhood yourself. I pray you end up with a bitch who has flirted her life away and starts hounding you when you can't meet up to her past sexual and financial experience in her past life. |

MSGAMBLE9: Channel av no business? Have you ever worked in a cooperate organization before? I think not, please learn about companies ethics and social image..nobody want to be associated with damaged brand or individual e.g. Rapist, convict, abuser etc. Goodluck finding job with that tag anywhere in the world
If my brother is an abuser, i wont assocciate with him cos have got a daughter and i know how i will feel if she is the victim. a rapist and convict are determined by a court, not on social media. |

He disgrace the man? You mean what the man did was honourable and the wife shouldn't av vioce or cried out?
You are a DOG cause you lack honour
Tueh on your asss! you're worse than a DOG passing judgement without hearing from both sides. |

MSGAMBLE9: i pray it doesn't happen to your daughter then let see how patient you are..its better to do away with aggressive women even in marriage than to engage in domestic voilence that can wreck one's career look at the guy now. Do you see Channels Tv retaining him while the station image suffers? It not worth it.
Life no be do or die. as far as I'm concerned, channels have no business with their staff private life, are you following the johnny depp and amber heard case? people are getting tired of the attack on the man's corporate engagements due to domestic issues, you've seen the number of boycotts and petitions put up to counter the recall of his casting for a movie? so many of these kind of women feel advantaged to cast emotional abuse over their partners because the society reserves a soft spot for them. If he is your brother, would you pray that for him? |

MSGAMBLE9: Guy you are talking rubbish! What if your daughter is the victim?
Shame! your brain is concreted with rubbish. BTW, I'm not a guy. From the expose from someone who knows her, if truly she was that vile, I shouldn't be surprised with her coming public to embarrass the husband when better mediums were there to channel the issue. |

Mayweather serves 6 month in prison just for threating his wife
if it your duaghter would you av said the same thing.
Shame! he hit her not threaten. some women with bad character can give so much psychological pain, if he had decided to walk away, she would still have come out to call him in public. we can't judge if we don't have the version from the other party, she may be an aggressive woman herself and scuffle got out of hand. |

oln: Isn't it better we look into the issue at hand which is domestic violence than try in knowing the lady's background. Pls, all of that aren't necessary at this point okay. the lady's background can have a profound effect on the response from the husband to issues. when I was working shift at a hotel, some married women still come to meet their politician lovers, when the man starts getting confronted with these negative characters he didn't notice at onset, it can cause him to lose his mind and act in an erratic manner. most especially when the woman earns more than the man, she would want to be giving laws. |

IkpuMmadu: and they chased away the Ibibio in Aro... that is the truth.... everyone is a settler , nobody dropped from the sky no tribe came from the sky ... the stronger tribe chase the weaker tribes away
that has always been the way it is .... just like the way igbo in Delta North is there ... that's the way igbo in Benue are there also
deal with this or cry me qua ibo river They didn't do it alone, and they were losing at initial attempts. It is the same way you people live your life till today. you would come as traders, business men or help lookers with no suspect of subliminal undertone of usurpation of power. They would come to trade in someones land and join you to go to church, engaging in all social activities your community does, in no distant time, after bringing in a large portion of their brothers, they start clamouring to head the market group/association. Installing their so called Eze in peoples community, we saw the recent problems it brought out in yoruba land. The history clearly states that a problem between step brothers led to this and the Ibibios were not chased out but the losing sides, that's why their culture still remains there till today and eternity. |

Arochukwu is called(Okigbo great igbo ) read this
Arochukwu is a small town located at the Southern end of Abia State in Nigeria. The Aros, as other Igbos, migrated from the Middle East to their present location in then Eastern Nigeria. You cannot mention Christopher Columbus who discovered America, without a short history of the Indians who owned the land. Also, in retrospect, the Aros came and won the land from the inhabitants, the Ibibios, after series of wars. These wars had a historic impact on the town. For instance, the leader of the Ibibio warriors who fought the war was captured and slain at Oro Village and this is why Oro became the chieftancy village. Amikpe Obinkita became the center where these defeated warriors were judged. This also is why all Aro villages assemble at Obinkita during the Ikeji festival. Any village that is not represented was fined by the entire Aro. Arochukwu, sometimes referred to as Arochuku, or Aro-Okigbo, (pronounced Aruchukwu) is the third largest city in Abia State (after Aba and Umuahia) in southeastern Nigeria and homeland of the Igbosubgroup, Aro people. It is composed of 19 villages with an overall leader called Eze Aro. Arochukwu is a principal historic town in Igboland. It was also one of the cities in the Southern protectorate conquered by the British colonial government. Several historic tourist sites exist in the city. The mystic Ibini Ukpabi shrine, the slave routes and other relics of the slave trade era are frequently visited by tourists. It is also in the food belt of Abia state where most of the staple foods are produced.http://igbohistory..com/2015/10/history-of-arochukwu.html?m=1 Google searching would give you a perfect narrative of what happened. |

ChinenyeN: Ngwa was not coined from “ngwa ngwa”. See, this is how stories get distorted and people start claiming/believing Ngwa is from Umunneoha. The same Umunneoha that was only founded during the later part of the Portuguese era, making them younger than Ngwa. Ngwa originally shared an autochthonous tradition with Ohuhu that they were created by Chileke Ohna. That Imo tale is an allegory to explain how the landmass was separated and our ethnonyms. Also, for the record, "ngwa" was not coined from "feather". In fact, the Ibibio and Annang word I know for "feather" is "ntaang", unless I don't know well, or there is an obscure dialect I'm unaware of.
@topic Ngwa occupied most of the region without any contact with Ibibio or Annang for centuries. The clashes that occurred happened after the Portuguese era. It was an on and off thing for centuries that eventually led to the establishment of a “no man’s land” zone between Ngwa and Annang/Ibibio. The reason for the clashes is that Annang wanted to expand. Prior to this forceful attempt at a secondary expansion, Annang and Ibibio etc were trading and interacting just fine at markets like Ohia Ukwu in Ohanze. As a result of the open trade legacy, there are some Annang and Ibibio who settlted and are now naturalized Ngwa. Also, many of us Ngwa in the former Obioma Ngwa area speak Ibibio and/or Annang as second languages. Annang's later attempt at forceful expansion was not met well by indigenous and naturalized Ngwa. By this time, Ikheohna and Uduagha militaristic mindset was well-developed. It was a relatively easy thing to push Annang back.
I'm inclined to believe that this history is where the main confusion is. British anthropologist or colonial officers like G. I. Jones made a great many assumptions, without asking the right questions. Yes, eastern Ngwa can be thought of as a fusion of Annang/Ibibio and Ngwa people. However, Jones and his fellow countrymen took it too far and assumed that the Ibeme and Mgbọkọ communities were the root of the fusion and that they were Ibibio, when they in fact were not and are not. If they had asked the right questions, they would have learned that Ibeme migrated from within or near the Ohambele community within Ikwueke clan in present day Ndoki, and that the Mgbọkọ are an offshoot from Abala Ibeme. Anyhow, long story short, Atouke, the information that you are trying to base your claim off of does not seem to be well-founded. Perhaps do some more holistic research. and In your mind, you think you know better than historians that studied the migration trend? you guys are land grabbers deal with it, it's very hard to see a typical Igbo accept another person's culture, these can only happen when they settle in peoples land and try to displace the aborigines. |

AmuDimpka: The history of Aro confederacy is there and we know that ibibio are migrants and we're defeated in Aro chased away .. that's why Aro is callers Okigbo (great igbo today ) go and ask around and stop fooling around you're the one fooling yourself, just a simple google search would give the true story of what happened. by the way, a large percentage of the Ibibibo's remained and that's why their culture is still strong in those regions till date. |
