Rostikol: Please what is Peter Obi’s job?
What does he do for a living?
I ask because I see him everywhere, travelling, attending events here and there, donating money, etc etc.
But I’ve never heard of him going to work, or engaging in any meaningful business.
Can somebody shed some light on this, please.
What is Peter Obi’s source of income?
What is his job? Very insightful point you raised here! |

CharleyBright: American University of Nigeria, Wigwe University of Nigeria and all other business and Stores that are transacting businesses in dollars should be made to stop immediately. They are part of the problem why the Naira is sliding against the dollars.. These businesses should be closed down outrightly if the fail to comply. No more time for rubbish again. It's unfortunate |

Who else wants to win Surulere ??
Gbaja is the sole proprietor of Surulere. Go and see the roads, schools, hospital, street light, Painting and plumbing work on houses in shitta, National Open University etc the man rehabilitated in Surulere.
Gbaja brought back Surulere to its rightful position as the elites Environment of Lagos it used to be in the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 2000 . Gbaga really try.. I'm told I can't even recognize the area I grew up in 'lere anymore. Gbaga has transformed everywhere |

Banks will only do officially payment like school fees, hospital bills, etc ... Sorry I corrected myself. I meant that why are those countries not experiencing issues the way Nigeria is? |

Business › Will Allowing Only Banks issue/sell USD Solve Naira Slide? by commoditiesnig(op): 1:27pm On Feb 03, 2024*. Modified: 1:56pm On Feb 03, 2024 |
All the years I was in an European country I didn't see any "black market" USD sellers hanging around Banks selling dollars. Only licensed BDC shops exchange USD, €, £ to any currency you need. If you had dorm account and needed Dollars you walk into your Bank to cash it. The rates had little price changes.
I don't understand why our country own is different. Why can't the CBN direct only Banks to issue Dollars to dorm account holders only and desist bank from dealing with 3rd party sellers hanging around banks?
Also will unlicensing BDCs to issue dollars stem this Naira to Dollar slide as well?
I read somewhere (although debunked) that CBN plans to convert about $30b in dorm accounts to Naira. Will this solve the situation?
In an European country, the Govt. offered incentive to dorm account holders to swap their dollars for local currency. Can't the CBN do same as well.
Also FG needs to encourage SMEs like myself to do more export to bring in more FX. So many commodities to export but little capital to carry out export.
The FG and CBN need to holistically do something drastic about this Naira slide against USD.
What's your take on this matter everyone? |

Sports › Re: What Do You Have To Say About Nigeria's Coach, José Peseiro So Far? by commoditiesnig(m): 10:01pm On Feb 02, 2024 |
brilliant analysis.. Spot on. Kenochi: Coach Peseiro has gotten his tactics spot on and to be fair to him,he is making the best of what is available to him It is not a matter of luck, the man has shown an understanding of reading our opponents and creating a system to contain them From the first game till the one against Angola,he used a very unfamiliar system that is working The only issue I have with the coach is his inability to make certain changes during our games. It seems he always plays the same team and he is always reluctant to make changes when the team needs it. A very good team just needs to study the Nigerian team,it is very obvious that they get tired from around the 60th minute, all that is needed is to bring in fresh legs from around this period that will run at that Nigerian defence, they might eventually collapse We all Oshimen,Lookman and Simon have played out their hearts and this guys need to rest Let the coach start the semi finals with one or two fresh legs, why take over 23 players to a competition and you end up playing less than 13
