This in my view will be more ideal than state police commoditiesnig: https://www.nairaland.com/8625229/tinubu-urges-senators-amend-constitution
In response to advocating for State Police, mr President, National and State Assembly members, let’s push for REGIONAL POLICE instead of State Police
I feel the State Governors may not be politically matured yet to handle state police, this may be turned to political tools in their hands
My take since this state police discussion had been on front burner.
Let’s Advocate for REGIONAL POLICE instead.

Let’s Advocate for REGIONAL POLICE instead. 1. The regional governors agree on the Regional HQ 2. Regional Police heads will be rotated among each states in the region 3. This aim is to quell perceived totalitarianism issue with state police. PS: someone stated that Regional govt isn’t in our constitution.. fair enough, however I think our constitution can be amended to accommodate whatever will be good for the country Cc: Mods front page pls |

Politics › Re: A Disgrace, There’s No Opposition In Nigeria’ – Odinkalu Slams Atiku, Peter Obi by commoditiesnig(m): 11:51am On Feb 24 |
It’s difficult to speak to the ineptitude of political opposition in Nigeria. They are not serious. And I think anybody who looks at the system has got to say that, at the moment, there is absolutely no opposition. Well said mr Odinkalu Mynd44: I don't agree with him. 24 hours before an election, you are prohibited from campaigning or holding rallies so how were they supposed to have held it?
The only ways they messed up was in choices of candidates and ignoring the rural areas where most of the votes come from. Very true. |

jaxxy: Obidents don't really know how to engage in diplomacy, it's either my way or the highway... This can work sometimes but definitely not all the time.
Even within themselves or ourselves (since i am Obident tho not with such mentality) they/we are ready for war at the slightest varying opinion or thoughts. How does this attitude build trust or unity? Exactly.. very unfortunate |

Jorussia: But Joking aside,Peter Obi, Amaechi,Atiku and other ADC Stalwarts who campaigned vigorously for the ADC candidate are a complete waste of political space. The problem with ADC is Peter Obi has refused to bring out the money he stole as governor of Anambra to fund the party.
Peter Obi supporters should realize that this is not 2023.Peter Obi grossly overestimate his popularity and influence.Peter Obi 2023 was a product of d division in APC and a president buhari who didn't support his Party's candidate. Absolutely spot on |
