As a military power, Turkey is no joke. Exactly.. Turkey is NATO 2nd Largest member/contributor after US. Turkey have always handled Israel with tact/diplomacy.. Also there’s a Jewish community in Istanbul |

Politics › Re: Peter Obi Never Said That Crashing The Price Of Food Would Make Farmers Poor by commoditiesnig(m): 1:35pm On Mar 02 |
Exactly.. well said glolomoh: While I understood his argument that food importation would kill local food production and farmer's business, I must say that the food importation is necessary at this period because when nigerian farmers were given the opportunity to feed the nation during Buhari regime and early part of Tinubu regime, they almost kill us with food inflation, hunger and famine. They deliberately created artificial scarcity in order to increase the price. They thrown the country into chaos for their selfish gain. They make bumper profit at the masses expenses. And, instead of using these greedily acquired profit to improve and enlarge their business, they were spending as if there will be no tomorrow.
I keep on maintaining it that an average nigerian should not be given monopolistic advantage for any essential commodity. Let them compete locally and globally. |
