I begin to wonder after many months of fashola being appointed minister for power, works and housing, nothing is on ground to show that he is working. It seems he is a square peg in a round hole.

Power.
During GEJ era, he told us that power Generation/distribution is not rocket science, that he can fix them in 6 months if given the chance. since Buhari appointed him minister all I know he has been doing is advocating for hike in electricity tariff and junketing from one power station to another while power generation output continue to dance disco.

Works.
The Lagos-Ibadan express way I am used to has remain where GEJ left it. During GEJ era, Julius Berger constructed the road right from Benin/Sagamu interchange to a point before RCCG. since Julius berger packed out of site immediately after GEJ left, the road has remain stagnant. no maintenance, no FEMA workers on site, e.t.c. which is also applicable to other federal highway across the country.

Housing.
This is a ministry that is suppose not to exist, because 99% of Nigerians build their own houses with their fund.

conclusion
If Fashola knows he can't handle this ministries, it is better he let Nigerian know such that a competent person is appointed or the ministries unbundle for better efficiency.

if oshiomole like, he should bring obama from America to contest under APC,

PDP will still win and send Oba/Oshiomole where they belong.

I watched it live on channels TV, I couldn't help but pity APC Rivers cos they are truly orphans! Their supporters were not excited, low in morale and general apathy toward what they tagged "grand finale" rally! Even for the few people there to respond to chants from their leaders was a problem. I was asking myself if anybody forced them to come to the event.

most of the crowd you see came for their money which ought to be paid today.

This is the plain truth. All politicians in Rivers know the system that delivers victory.

Everyone residing in Rivers can decide to vote against APC but there is a system that ensures the party that has done its homework of appointing the REC and has in its custody the original result sheets and has its members as INEC adhoc staff carries the day.

Wike, Amaechi, Odili, Sekibo etc have been beneficiaries of this system.

casted votes is counted, result announced, Party agent signed, photocopy, snapped, film, post online, result sheets,

copy of result sheet display in polling unit. all these happens before the electoral officer leaves the polling unit.

even before collation starts, people already knows which party won each polling unit.

with the advent of internet, the result is already online before INEC start collating.

I have been moving from one filling station to another looking for fuel but no avail.

I remember Femi falana in 2012 led people to protest, cook/eat indomie and dance in Ojota, because of subsidy removal

Today, subsidy has been removed, No fuel available, high pump price, long queue, black market, e.t.c

in-spite of all these challenges, why is Femi Falana and the Ojota protesters kept quite.
