Hello leute,
Can one use Neco result in lieu of Waec or combine both for Visa interview.
I am asking for a friend and a detailed response would be really appreciated.
Dankeschön
To the best of my knowledge. Neco can suffice.

I could be wrong tho!

4-6 weeks
Genau!

But could be more than 6weeks. It all depends on your Ausländerbehörde ( Alien Office ). Some are just too busy. I remember Mine took more than that. wink

But don’t worry it will end in praise just like mine.

See you in Germany bro/sis. smiley

Happy Saturday day!

You definitely need original copies for enrollment.

Now that you have admission. Process your original copy.
Transcript ?
If yes. I don’t think you need for enrollment. I was never asked if my transcript again!

Blissful weekend to you!

Search for anyone over there to pay for you while you pay the person the Naira equivalent.

It's always better if you mention the school so people can directly help or offer solution.
Seconded!

Bachelor at RheinWaal or Masters at Hannover universitat. which one is better in term of hustle?
Hannover is a bigger and better city not too far from Hamburg another big shot city.

But the course of study could be determinant.

Happy Saturday! ..with a smile..

I am planning mobile app and web app class next week i wabt to ask how is the market in germany in related to student work? tho i am coming to study M.sc in Business or Economics related course
Mobile app is hot cake for most companies but companies here are interested in native mobile development rather than hybrid mobile app development. i will advice to delve into android mobile development using Kotlin and ios development using swift. My team we develop in JavaScript/ES6+/React for web, Java/Kotlin for Android, and Swift for iOS. React Native is ok for mobile dev but not all teams/organisation use it for some reasons i cant detail here.

We also connect web and mobile/native by bridging JavaScript into Android and iOS. learn test driven development (TDD). You will be a super star

Good luck mehn! companies dont look at your cert but ur skills. uptodate my Hr/mgt is yet to ask me for my cert or docs. most companies will just ask u for health insurance and ur work permit for students ( ur transcripts will come handy).

Hi,

I am 31,recently married (8 months),i have a job now in Nigeria that pays 170k monthly. I recently got a scholarship to study for my PhD in Germany and a Visa to resume Sept with full insurance and stipends for myself and my wife.

I have never left the country and I feel somehow about it. The uncertainty and all.

If this was you, would you take it?And why?
Good question!

For me the answer is even objective rather than subjective!

I will say yes without hesitation!

I don’t think you have anything to loose especially with fact that you are on scholarship.

In three years your value will exponentially increase. As a PhD student your stipends should be enough to forget that 170k..lol..

The benefits of studying can never be overemphasized.

Exposures, knowledge and practical skills concatenated.

The only thing difficult to deal with is that u will miss ur wife which u can even invite him over for reunion ( 3months Schengen visa). Take her round the world just like you promised her when you were dating. Over 20 countries to explore without additional visa. You can even travel from Germany to some countries for 2euros.

That being said. Monopolize the offer my guy. There is more to life than 170k. In four years time that company may not afford you and u can afford to bring ur wife over.

Schönes Wochenende!

I love this your quick response, man.. I just refreshed my browser and boom you've replied the message already... Thanks!
Pls, don't you know anyone in Hessen, Marburg precisely
I only know about the capital of Hessen ( Frankfurt ) the first city I set my eyes on .... Frankfurt is as expensive as Munich Berlin, etc in terms of accommodation but with good opportunities as it’s known as the financial capital of Europe! I love it’s modern ambience!

Marburg i know nothing about. But I heard there is nothing much happening there ..lol.. don’t rely on hear say ! . Perhaps it will be fine for studies

Hi dear, this is quite an insight, please who has a vital university of bonn? I got admitted into geodetic engineering it would be of great interest to me if i could get people in the university, city or state or preferably people studying the same course give me a detailed insight. Danke
University of Bonn is another great Uni. I wouldn’t reject an offer from them to be honest. I don’t know about the course, never heard of it. Like I said in my previous quotes. Bonn is a great city with UN Campus and prestigious DHL hqtrs. I can connect u to some people in the city.

Schönes Wochenende!

Hello Guys, another quick question

Someone told me to certify my documents in High Court before going to the Embassy?

Please is this compulsory. I honestly don't understand what he was talking about, I just said OK.
Not that necessary. just find out from ur school. Apart from the embassy, u have other options Notary Public and the Fed High courts.

the FHC is the most available if u don't live within the metropolis of lagos and/or the school doesn't ask for that specifically.

Also note that the embassy is limited. i can't categorically say how many copies u can certify at the embassy.
Notary Public is the most expensive
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by computaholicGoc(m): 11:28am On Jul 05, 2019
X36DD:
No, there are two types of Certification, High court and Embassy, you either use High court or embassy certification. Although some school demands you use strictly embassy.
You missed one more.Notary Public.

tho its expensive but its good to find out what your school needs. during my time the FHC (fed high court ) CTC sufficed for all the school i applied.

Hello bro, please how is paderborn like in terms of living standards and work opportunities. I got admitted to study MSC computer science there
Great school. living standards is normal. To be honest the work opportunities are limited as its a very small city. No tram. No ubahn. No s-bahn ..lol.. i don't mean to scare you or give you a fright. Grace differs and can stand you out, But in our field of Technology it doesn't matter where we see ourselves, what matters is where we see ourselves in the future. I am living testimony. I didnt study in a big city but i ended up in big cities. My advice to all:

1. concentrate on ur studies first as soon as u land. If possible finish your core courses before u start working your ass-off. I did same it paid off.I finished all my core courses in zwei semester. third semester i moved to bayern for my internship and also finished my research project there. fourth semester i switched to DHL hqtrs in bonn from Adidas Hqtrs in Bayern and there i wrote my thesis.
Fifth semester ! there was no fifth semester..lol.. By fifth semester i am already working professionally.

This is just to inspire someone that it doesn't cost'a thing to look at the brighter side of life. SmartWork will always pay off at the end.

The city you study in should not deter you from achieving your goals. I hope i have inspired someone this morning

Other trivial ones include:
2. Learn how to cook before coming here. You shall get tired of Pizza and Fries..lol.. If you can't cook. Youtube is your friend.

3. learn how to ride a car and bicycle. convert the license to german version before the end of six months. Don't do the same mistake I did. there are so much benefits when it comes to having one even biz-wise.

I wish i can rewrite the entire NL portal..lol.. )

Okay, but hope the cost of living isn't expensive and ,accessibility to things isn't that difficult and lastly hope it isn't a core German speaking city smiley. Thank you
In general cost of living is usually same except for rent and semester ticket. NRW isn't that affordable when it comes to accommodation and semester ticket. The good news is what you loose in accommodation you gain from touring the entire state.

You can't compare NRW to places like Schleswig-Holstein (kiel to be precise). the semester ticket in kiel is 115( for FH-kiel) and u can get a 2 person WG for 170euros pro monate (last i paid in kiel was 194euros ). be guided there are more expensive ones. u can switch if u re on a low budget after some months.

There are little or no professional jobs in lippstadt/Paderborn and most require good german skills. NRW is the biggest state in Germany. Most people speak good german in the west. there is a local airport there too.

You will be fine, there are student jobs to pull you through during the course of studying.

My brother it's really not easy, most of those who crossed still have the thread at heart but no time.

Germany no be Yankee or Jand. Most of us faced that confused state the first day/weeks of class. And it restarts your whole system.
It takes some ppl weeks and others even years to settle. ( in terms of the right course and school. So ppl keep changing schools and courses, na that person you want to come say HI for here) So dont take it that way.

No be beans for here.
Las Las it will end in praise

More blessing....
You are so spot-on. The country formats ur brain and time ..lol..time is of essence here.

If you’re learning German through that Duolingo app, I’m pleased to announce that it is pure crap grin
Waste of time.
Unless all you want to learn is good morning and goodnight. Please use YouTube and some free literatures online.
You see that coming here and desperately struggling to “make friends”?
Don’t.
Be yourself
Many times it pays to relax and observe your environment first.
Be gentle and kind on yourself and every other thing will fall into place.
No two people’s experience are same. The best thing I did for myself was reading stuff here then not taking it to heart and keeping an open mind. It did wonders for me.

All the best guys!
I wouldn't say it's a total crap. Duolingo really helped me especially with writing and reading. so my 2cents would be to combine it with other resources.

Awesome. What can ou say about cologne?
it's a nice city. Big enough to find what ever you are looking for as a student or professional. their semester ticket takes you round the state with other interesting cities like bonn, dortmund, etc surrounding the beautiful city.

i had good memories there! Köln should be the 4th biggest city in Germany. Possible internship/werkstudent destination could be UN, DHL headquarters located in Bonn. i will jump at any admission offer from Köln.

Bro can you help give a quick one about Lippstadt also
What do you want to know?

it's not a big city. But the state which Lippstadt lives in is one of the best state to study in. the semester ticket can take you round the whole state plus upto cities like kassel and hannover.
