Hi, so if it’s just a stop at LHR then you’re good. If it’s 2 stops (lhr & somewhere in the usa) then I’m afraid it won’t work. But since you’ve said it’s just one stop then it’ll work.

If you use BA You’ll most likely have a connection in the usa that’ll require a usa transit visa or visitors visa.

dont use British airways and dont transit through USA unless you have a Us VISA. carry proof of relationship to student.
btw please what was the timeline of your spouses application and was it the new portal or the usual GC key?

Where are the 2 students? call them out to come tell the house how they did theirs.. You are the only one talking about it and it seems many here do not really understand all what you have been saying..

Its either you call the students here to come drop the guidelines through which they successfully did theirs or

You give a comprehensive guideline here which applicants here can easily understand and do it themselves.. Let applicants here benefit from this new way..

You can also drop a link on the IRCC website where IRCC stated that application on Study permit can also be done on this portal..

I'm not sure the NSE route still works. There is a new directive for visitor and students to apply on the new IRCC Portal account. This account is different from the GCKey account. Below is the link

Application on this new portal guarantees a decision within 14 - 30 business days. I've seen people get visit visa in 16 business days and study visa in 30 business days. No IELTS, no upfront medical and no mybankcertificate is required to apply.

I got admission to Conestoga College for May 2022 intake. Can someone kindly explain how I can go about starting my Visa application.

Yes. IOM are doing upfront medicals now. Google them and send an email requesting an appointment. They will respond and give you details of account to pay in and date of appointment. You pay then go on the date with your evidence of payment and your intl passport.

Yea, its okay to have both Express Entry and Study permit application at the same time.. But the disadvantage to this is that ur Study permit application will most likely be refused cos the VOs will know about ur EE application. And when the VO knws a study permit applicant is also in the EE route, he or she will refuse the applicant cos for an applicant to have an EE application, it means the person isnt having any plan to return back to his home country... And we all know its a NO NO for study permit application.. Peace
