kagari: Thanks so much for this. I'm sure of the travel date so I will just buy my tickets now. Could you please advice on the cheapest airline to book? I would be grateful if you could assist me in this regard. Here is my itinerary again: One way, 2 adults, economy from Lagos to Vancouver int'l to depart 22 August 2019. I look forward to your kind and prompt response. Regards. |

truthsayer009: Thanks for your response. I actually thought it would be cheaper to buy ticket now given that there's a longer time to the travel date. I just hope d fares won't go up by May/June. The school is Thompson Rivers University, a total tuition of 36,000cad with a deposit of 9,500cad for an MBA. The fees quoted are for 2017/2018 academic year but I deferred my resumption to fall 2019. U can Google the school for current tuition. Cheers! |

Ymin: Hi, My response to your questions are as follows: 1. We submitted two SOP/LOE - one for the applicant and the other for spouse to support the application (I did this for my husband) 2. It's important that she has the required amount in her account being the applicant. It's also good for you to have some funds in your account, if you are submitting it. Although, i don't know if this is IRCC requirement but I did it and it worked. 3. I have no response to q3 as i don't have kids yet. I hope this helps. |

Hello, I've been a silent reader on this thread but i decided to share my testimony with the house to encourage someone. I applied and got my study permit approved in September 2018 after I had deferred my school admission to September 2019. On 19 October 2018, my husband submitted his SOWP application (online route) contrary to many people's opinion that SOWP can't be granted when the spouse has not been enrolled or has not resumed school in Canada. Unfortunately for us, he got refused on 19 November 2018 for failure to submit evidence of LMIA or LMIA exemption. We then responded to the VO by referencing a CIC link where it was clearly stated that LMIA is not required for SOWP. A new application (paper route) was submitted on 23 November 2018 and his permit was approved on 14 February 2019, best val gift ever! We will both be going to Canada in August 2019. It has ended in praise las las!!! 5 Likes |

Hello seniors in the house. Please I have a question concerning my credential evaluation with WES. I completed evaluation of my first degree and ACCA certificate in February 2018. At this time, my final secondary school result was not required. I completed my MBA this December and I intend to evaluate with WES but I was required to send my NECO transcript. My question is; Can I use other evaluating body to evaluate my MBA or must it be WES because I used WES for my other certificates? I'm asking because I'm trying to avoid the stress and cost of going to NECO to lobby for my transcript to be sent to WES. I will appreciate your kind and prompt response. Thanks. |

backrub: No, my account was not updated for the passport submission. However, I tracked my submission with the reference number on the submission slip I got from vfs. I also received a mail from canada Visa application centre that my passport was ready for collection after. 2 working days. I also think you should contact cic as earlier advised by mcobex. |

Good day All, I'm new here and I appreciate the explicit information being provided by the gurus. I have been reading from Part 1 of this thread but yet to find answers to my questions. I intend to apply for PR as principal applicant and obtain the available 5 point for my hubby. However, I'm an internal auditor with ANZSCO Code 221214 and my hubby is a Fund Manager with ANZSCO Code 222312, can we possibly get a full skill assessment from VETASSES and submit EOI with me as the principal applicant while still claiming the 5 point from my hubby? I'm asking because we do not have the same ANZSCO Code and I don't know how this works. I will appreciate your kind and prompt response. Attn:bellong, Alphadoor, Jayooh, highway007 |
