Car Talk › Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by Conner44: 5:56pm On Jan 08, 2025 |
remi4ever: Hello Guys.
My Car is a Honda Accord 2009 the 2.0L variant (R20 Engine).
Whenever I turn on my AC on idle the car vibrates, rpm drops to as low as 500 and the car shudders intermittently like it wants to turn off, also there is a drag when accelerating when the AC is on.
If I get close to a road bump, I will have to turn off the AC quickly because the whole car vibrates and drags until I pick up pace again.
I do not have a CEL , and I have also cleaned the throttle body, PCV valve. My engine air filter has been cleaned, too. Without AC, everything works well and it moves fine.
This car uses the DBW (Drive by wire) and I understand that the ECU controls the Idle rpm.
conner44 jceesquare kingreign nurey macmilla You need someone with a very good scan tool to help you recalibrate your idle rpms via the OBD2 system. |

The boy is a confirm scam artist and his modus operandi is to sit on a thread with a burner account and accuse all the members there that are genuine of fraud and when others start believing him he will then turn around and scam them. He tried it in the Uber thread in the business section but I was there to burst his bubble. See the link below for more of his shenanigans I uncovered on this very thread in the past that made even the innocent ones here to almost lynch me lol https://www.nairaland.com/6318352/crypto-currency-investors-thread/3352#126762318He has many accounts and monikers he uses in swaying public opinion to his side. |

In my opinion it makes perfect sense to get moove vehicles and calculate depreciation for 5years cash out and still have the asset after does years.
The whole point of it for any business to to bridge finances and free up your capital for other ventures while u trade and profit with liabilities

TheModerator: Your goat driver drives seven days of the week. He's obviously paying nothing less than N14,400 daily. Do the math yourself to see what he pays moove weekly. For everyday you drive on move, you pay N14400. Are you getting it? I don't know why I have to explain this to a grown man.
I made those fonts big so that you can read correctly, you seem to be blind, deaf and dumb, that's why it's easy to get you deceived on telegram. I bet if you were a woman, you would easily believe lies from men and easily open your legs for anyone that crosses your path. I pray your daughter isn't this gullible. lol Hahaha 🤣 see this jobless mofo lol. And what makes you feel moove requests rental fees for their vehicles for every single day of the week? 🤡 You're as clueless as they come yet feeling funky like a mad man that just got discharged from yaba left See you LYING again about making your phone's fonts GIGANTIC for me to see . . . 😆 You that has always had humongous fonts which we have used to yab you here on several occasions? Show me how your screenshot translates to someone paying moove a total of 100k rent weekly as you claim I know you're stewpid but at least simple basic math shouldn't be a Herculean task for someone of your mental capacity . . .or is it? 🤔 See how GIANT the fonts on your tiny phone looks lol 😆 |

This your brain appears not to have evolved since the day you were harshed from an incubator. Lolz 100k weekly? Haha 😅 this dream you've not woken up from is really a long one Anyhoo, dropping paltry 'daily remittances' while being able to freely go to the lengths and breadths of Lagos not minding the road conditions, traffic or distances due to your 'tool' having the absolute lowest possible fuel consumption, free maintenance and also not bothering about any constant 'depreciation of ones personal assets' is something heavenly 🤗 But of course, a reason for the invention of condoms like yourself would struggle to grasp such ideas It's to be expected |

Between that and driving my own car, i know which I would go for. Fuel and maintainance can't be an excuse. Besides, the moove cars don't run on water. We have to stop applauding and giving stupid accolades to people. I don't see driving moove as any smarter. Seem to me like the very last resort when there's no other option left. The bolded is the simple reason why you'd always remain the most f00lish troll to ever grace the pages of any thread on nairaland I have absolutely nada to explain to you concerning this issue. You should be quiet when grown men are having conversation. Of course that line in his post is not up for debate 😕 see the paragraph I responded to in his post below He opted for a Suzuki HP car so as to avoid major expenses. If it was that easy to have 12M saved up from this hustle, he won't need a cheap bail out to maintain a car that purportedly fetched him 21M in 2024. This is the submission I saw that made me wonder in awe at his logical prowess 😏 he wants cheerfulgiver to use his own personal car and leave mooves 'disposable' vehicles just because . . . ? ? ? Yep, I decided to let the dogs sleep because he would have absolutely nothing logical to say concerning that portion of his submission You can run along now back into the oblivion you crawled out from |

No be by chochocho, na by logic. Hmm, this your own type of logic is not really computing to me . . . Even a whole African richest black man Alhaji Aliko Dangote still goes to beg banks for loans (as your so called cheap bailouts) upandan to do his businesses talk-less of someone like cheerfulgiver who is just a normal guy trying to hustle his daily bread So someone should overlook something that will work to his advantage just because he has all the money sitting in his bank? dapotemi: It's a public forum but still mirror who and what they are ...I can tell you the kinda of person you are by merely going tru few of your post...Nothing extra-ordinary, people just need little more education/exposure and they'll act better.... Someone said and I quote;
If you feel the need to insult.
Don’t fight it. Use it against itself.
Here’s how.
1. Write the first response WITH insults. But DON’T post it.
2. Review 2 hours later and ask yourself: “Does this response align with how I want to be perceived?”
3. Edit and post accordingly.
This is how I use social media to train myself (I sometimes fail 🙈) but it’s the ultimate lab to build and test self control and restraint... Most importantly, ask yourself if the person wey u dey insult dey feel anything, me wey I focus like mad send insult..wetin consign me So you usually don't wait up till 2 hrs before posting your insults to me all this while? 🤔 No wonder . . . so you are using Conner as your online 'lab rat' to practice 'self control + restraint' and still fail woefully Everytime right? CheerfulGiver: HOW TO BE A SUCCESSFUL UBER PARTNER IN 2025.
You have to have driven on ehailing platform before. If you haven't been a driver, you CAN NEVER understand what a driver goes through to make the money to pay you weekly. It's not enough to simply call yourself an investor, buy a car, register it and give out to a driver, sit back, relax and expect millions. Drive that car for a week at least. You may skip this part and still be successful, but you won't be as successful.
If you have driven on the platform you'll understand better how the system works. How long it takes to make that money, customer relations, bad days, driver psychology. Things have changed. You cannot keep doing the same things and expect different results.
Type of cars to be put on the platform are small cars. Don't go for expensive. If you think going for expensive means higher returns, I have a plot of land to sell to you at eko Atlantic. Do not make the driver over compensate you for your foolishness or miscalculations. You have to have the right information about any business you're embarking on. It's your duty to do due diligence as an "investor" about the appropriate car to use. If you fail this step, do not make the driver pay for that.
Your car should be top notch before you give it out to a driver. You have to comprehensively insure it, and have a tracker on it. It's a disgrace that many partners take advantage of the desperation of drivers to coerce them to drive stupid cars they know is not in good condition, sometimes with the promise of "start work first, we go dey fix am small small". If you do this, you're a bad person and you deserve anything negative that comes your way from that nonsense. Tires on the car should be good for 3 months minimum. Battery should be good. Alternator good. Breaks, shocks, hub everything should be 100% before you give that car out to anyone. You cannot demand 100% efficiency from a driver from a car that is not 100%. That's unquantifiable stupidity.
All car maintenance must be on you. Raise the weekly remittance to cover the maintenance bills, but you must be in charge. Except of course it's and emergency and your mechanic won't get there in maximum of 2 hours. You have to know the repair and maintenance history of the car. A driver will tell stories if you leave him to maintain your car. Charge for the maintenance in advance and structurally imbibe it into the remittance.
4. Your driver should make more money than he pays to you on a weekly basis. That's the only way to keep him happy and you happy. If you overcharge him, he won't give 100%. If your car is a stupid car and you're making him drive it, he won't make money but will find a way to pay you because you've threatened him. That's wrong. Encourage your driver to make more money than he pays you and he will value you as a good person and he won't want to lose your trust. Encourage him to try and buy a car from the money he makes driving your car and you have just unlocked motivation level 100. If you're getting your weekly payment as at when due, everything works as it's supposed to. If a driver sees your car as a wealth builder, he won't mess around with you or your payment.
Try not to tie your building project to the one car you gave to a driver. If you have 100 cars, the discussion will be different. It will be criminal of you to spend all the money a driver pays to you weekly, INCLUDING the structure of maintenance money you've added and tell him stories when it's time to fix a problem.
The more genuine a car part is, the more it will last. The more it lasts, the more your car remains on the road, guaranteeing your income. Therefore, as much as you can, avoid repairing a part you have been advised to replace. Don't buy a hub bearing if you can buy a complete hub, for example.
Be Nice to your driver and try to understand his explanation if something goes wrong. Use your tracker to establish the truth and deal with the situation accordingly. He's a human like you. If you have an irresponsible driver, 4 fingers are pointing back at you for failing to do due diligence. This is a serious business and you have to treat as such. The more responsible a driver is, the less stress you'll have. Even the most responsible drivers will be victims of circumstances out of their control once in a while. Be a decent human being and try to understand.
Do a background check on whoever it is you'll be entrusting your car to. You have to know his family and his relatives. The contract you sign with a driver should not be too strict or you'll learn the hard way.
Limit contracts to 3 months. If a driver is in a short leash, he usually performs better. There's an erroneous thinking that putting a driver on HP makes them more serious. That's not the case, but I'm really not here to convince you of what I know of. Your hp is usually 30 months. It's better you have a car on 3 months short contracts and be renewed 10 times and after the 10th time you sell the car to the same driver or you sell the car. The maths is the same. The difference is that the driver or drivers you use to get to 30 months know what's coming after 3months if you're not satisfied with them. In the case you'll be replacing a driver after 3 months, have a replacement waiting to avoid downtime.
I'm constrained by time to finish this. You may not like it, but I really don't care. I'm good. These are just tips. You don't have to follow them. Wise words set in stone |
