The ISIL (ISIS) group has released a video claiming to show the execution of 11 Christians in northeast Nigeria, one day after Christmas.

The footage posted in an online Telegram news channel late on Thursday by ISIL-linked propaganda arm Amaq showed 11 blindfolded men being lined up at an unidentified outdoor location.

Attacks intensify

In recent months, Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) has intensified its attacks on Christians, security personnel and aid workers, setting up roadblocks on main roads and conducting searches.

A previous video, seen by Reuters News Agency, said the captives had been taken from Maiduguri and Damaturu in Nigeria's northeast, where fighters have been attempting for years to set up a separate state under Islamic law.

In that earlier video, the captives pleaded for the Christian Association of Nigeria and President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene and save them.

ISWAP split from Nigerian armed group Boko Haram in 2016, pledging allegiance to al-Baghdadi.

It stepped up attacks on military outposts and troops in mid-2018 but has increasingly begun targeting civilians.

The decade-long armed uprising in northeast Nigeria has killed 36,000 people and displaced around two million, according to the United Nations.

The violence had spread to neighbouring Niger, Chad and Cameroon, prompting the formation of a regional military coalition to combat the fighters.

With due respect the reason you titled the topic with inconsistency is because in one verse it is said that the prophets' wives are the mothers of believers and to your understanding it is contradicting the verse that is saying the prophet is not the father of any of the believers.which you claimed the reason for that is because the prophet want to have as many women as he want,but after being explained by a humble Muslim the reason why the Qur'an said he is not the father of any believer is because of his adopted son Zaid whom you even later support by executioner bringing the story of Zainab and after it is clear where Allah put an end to the prophet ever marrying again now you are telling us the reason for naming the topic Allah's inconsistencies in the Qur'an is because of Zainab and Zaid that you did not mention even once in your post. Nevertheless can you show us Allah's inconsistencies in the Qur'an in the story of Zaid and zainab so that Inshaa-Allah we can clarify it.

The koran refers to Muhammad's wives as the "mothers of all Muslim believers":

It is for this reason that the koran forbade any muslim man from marrying any of muhammad's wives after his death:

So far, all of this makes sense. If muhammad's wives are the mothers of the believers, then marrying any of them after muhammad's death would amount to incest.

That is a very good question and it brings us to the topic of this post. Logically speaking, if muhammad's wives are the mothers of muslims, Muhamad would have to be the father of all muslims, wouldn't he?

This is where things begin to get messy.

The koran explicitly forbids anyone from referring to muhammad as the father of Muslims:

But why is the case? Luckily, the koran provides us with the reason:

So as we can see from the foregoing, allah sent down a special revelation containing a special privilege allowing Muhamad to be able to have sexual relations with any muslim women who offered themselves to him.

So Muhamad gave up the privilege of becoming the father of Islam because it would have interfered with his special privilege to engage in sexual encounters with Muslim women who offered themselves to him.

This would have been impossible if Muhamad had allowed himself to be called the father of muslims because then, muslim women would have become his daughters and as a father he would have been forbidden from engaging in any relationship of a sexual nature with them.

In the end, these extremely self serving "revelations" in the koran which only benefit Muhammad's sex life calls into question the authenticity of the koran's claim to be the word of a righteous God and casts a strong shadow of doubt over Islam as source of truth and high moral standards.

so, with this conclusion you think you are smart, if you are a Christian, the true Christians know that similar verses to the one you quoted can be found in the Bible, and if you are atheist. For a Nigerian to call himself an atheist, weed must have stucked on his brain, that's the fact.

The Quran as a whole, doesn't only contains story of other prophets, Jesus Moses Adam etc. It contains guidelines on how to worship God Almighty and how to live a very good life acceptable by God, just like the Bible which came before the Quran.
As in the verse you quoted, you will gain nothing from such, but a miserable hereafter. As I do say, you don't just quote a sentence of a passage, or tell people a phrase you heard from someone, with out telling what the passage says from the beginning or what led the person say such phrase, respectively.
The second verse after Bismi Lah, Gives Thanks to Almighty God, the Lord of all mankind, the third verse calls him the most merciful and the most beneficent, the forth verse says her is the king/Judge of the day of Judgement, the fifth verse, the one the OP quoted, in simpler English, You alone we worship and You alone we seek for help, the sixth verse says Guide us through the straight path, and the last verse says the way of those you have bestowed your grace upon, and not to those who earned your anger.

Narrated by Abu Sa'id bin Al-Mualla, while I was praying in the mosque, Allah's messenger(SAW) called me but I didn't respond to him, Later I said 'O Allah's Messenger, I was praying, He said "Didn't Allah say, Answer Allah(By obeying him) and his messenger when he calls you(V. 8:24) he then said to me, 'I will teach you a surah which is the greatest surah in the Quran, before you leave the mosque', then he got hold of my hand, and when he intended to leave the mosque, I said to him, " Didn't you say to me 'I will teach you a surah which is the greatest surah in the Qur'an?" He said Alhamdulillahi rabbil alamin, which is the second verse of the surah the OP quoted.

I'm not writing all this to prove the OP wrong, or to bring any disbelievers to the way of Allah, but to serve as a guidance to Muslim who might have thought the OP has a point, It is said in the holy Quran 'the believers will never be in peace with you unless you join them. And any disbeliever that leaves the way of worshipping idols, carved Mary statue, carved Jesus cross, rosery etc its by Allah's knowledge and wish, those that are destinied to end up in hell, will end up in hell, expect Allah says otherwise.
