I'm taking about the actual writing of the books that make up the Bible, not the inspiration behind the writing. Of course we know that God is the inspiration. Xposed2020: so it was no more under Gods' guidance or the holy spirit again? Obara Jesus! So god told the authors to do such blunders? OK. If we can identity more, how then can we trust the authenticity of such book? |
Christianity Etc › Re: The Only Country In The World Without A Single Church by ContractKiller: 10:16am On Jul 27, 2020 |
Those books were excluded because they did not pass the authenticity requirements to be in the Bible. Xposed2020: that's why the same men decide to hide the following; Contents of The Lost Books of the Bible The Protevangelion. The Gospel of the Infancy of Jesus Christ. The Infancy Gospel of Thomas. The Epistles of Jesus Christ and Abgarus King of Edessa. The Gospel of Nicodemus (Acts of Pilate) The Apostles' Creed (throughout history) The Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Laodiceans. |

Go and read your Historians like Jacob Ajayi etc. Edos don't even accept that Oranmiyan was ever a King in Edoland. That is a Yoruba wet dream. 900winer: I don't give bleep where Edo descend from and where did you see Yoruba claim Edo descended from them? They only claim the crown not Edo, so i think you are confused. |
Politics › Re: Ewuare, Oba Of Benin Hails Wike (Video) by ContractKiller: 7:48am On Jul 27, 2020 |
Yoruba claim that Edos descended from them, Edos claim yorubas descended from Edo. If you can prove either one to be true, go ahead and do so. Otherwise just shut up and embrace your ignorance. 900winer: I think you are the one saying nonsense here, who are the benin? From where do they come from? The stupid Mecca Yoruba origin was mainly among the Sarki muslims in Oyo state so it useless. |

Discretion is the better part of Valor. Why should I expose myself unnecessarily so that headhunters will try to steal Awolowo my cow when I know that ileya is just round the corner? Stop disappointing me with this stupid reasoning of yours. Guestlander: See cowardice! No balls, no honor, no shame. This is precisely the difference between you and I. We don't make empty promises. |

It's a hypothesis because most African tribal societies like the Yorubas, Edos, Igbos etc were illiterate and they never kept written historical chronicles so we can only make educated guesses when it comes to the issue of ancestry. A comedy hypothesis wouldn't be taken seriously in any academic or scholarly circles which is why the Out of Mecca hypothesis is not worth discussing by mainstream Historians. PVision2020: Thank God you said hypothesis, not fact. You know a Dog giving birth to an Elephant can also make some comedic hypothesis...lol |

For maximum exposure I would rather parade Awo the cow in social media. Stay tuned for pictures and videos of Awo the cow Guestlander: Ok, tomorrow take your pet to the front of your shop and start telling everyone its name is Awolowo. It won't be hard for me to find you in Agbowo. If you are truly brave that is what you will do. But I bet you will act just like your uncles who ran to hide in the bush after eating all the rats in their houses. |

The hypothesis of Benin as the origin of yorubas makes more sense than the nonsense pseudo history of Mecca being the homeland of yorubas. PVision2020: Please stop letting some old wives fairytale and tales by moonlight becloud your senses of reasoning and judgement. Logic as obtained in the Set theory will inform you that a subset can never be greater than the Universal set. How a tiny Benin Kingdom of some few LGA's begat a Yoruba Kingdom that transcend nations (Benin Republic, Togo, Brazil, Haiti etc) and continents can only be explained by drunks.
How the so called child seems to have so much influence over the father without an iota of influence on the child should be a mystery. You bear Yoruba ancestral names like Ajayi, Ojo etc, you practice the age-long Yoruba elders cult (Ogboni) and still you're claiming one yeye fatherhood, please...lol |

No amount of propaganda can work for them this time around. With everything that has happened recently like the division in the party, insecurity and falling oil prices, it's either APC or Nigeria will collapse in the nearest future. If you really believe that Osinbajo will be the next president of Nigeria inspite of being treated like an untrusted houseboy since 2015 and becoming a mere errand boy for the late Abba Kyari then you need urgent brain surgery. As for Eko Oni ba je even you must know it's a lie. Stop defending the undefendable. Those verses refer to the concept of servant leadership. The idea that a leader must be prepared to serve his people is very different from Arabs buying and selling your ancestors as Slaves. In fact neither of these verses mentioned slaves, they only spoke of servants. A servant is not a slave unless you're saying that civil servants can also mean civil slave. Philippians 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men Xposed2020: But Jesus was a slave Phil 2:7 And all Christians are slaves 1cor 7:22. So what's the big deal about slaves when Jesus asked you slaves to respect your masters. |

I wouldn't be surprised if this character didn't create an alternate profile just to send himself that message Don't think you'll be let off the hook so easily mate. Your unique blend of slavish devotion to a failed administration and your frequent indiscretions and vituperations of verbal diarrhea will continue to haunt you on this forum for as long as you remain a member. I for one will continue to keep an eye on you because I'm not ready to give up my favourite punching bag. Simplyleo: Brotherly, I'm humbled. At least if not for anything else, the time you spent typing this really says a lot about your concern for the well being of everyone.
I read through your comment twice, seriously searching for a word or expression of insult but to no avail. I'm really touched and accordingly, will desist henceforth.
My concern is not even politics. If you insult Buhari from now till the end of time, I don't give a damn. My concern is mostly the way some people have made it a duty to continue insulting other tribes for almost everything. And I fall into one of those tribes.
All the same, I promise to desist henceforth. Thanks for your concern.
God bless you God bless yours God bless your desire. |

Judging from what he said, it seems he has already found himself.

Tough one....
Its not about divorce, its not about the marriage, its not about the woman, its not about the kid....... its about you.
You really really need to find yourself. Do not rely on half baked knowledge or rely on other people's experiences beliefs etc.
Find yourself, know who you are and know for certain that though we have been the ability to make choices. Yet we alone bear the aftermath of that choice. There are risks to every choice.
Wish you peace joy and pray you never lose yourself. |
