ifyalways: gotta laugh. You should be in Abuja. Hehe
Btw, is this election going to be open or secret ballot system?
ify, don't take part in this sham election....you are a woman of outstanding quality on this forum. do not smear your quality with this poorly-organised process. there must be a cogent reason okija got disqualified not the rubbish pointB and his henchmen continue to churn out! if okija has a different opinion to everyone else, does that make him sub-human?
If not that I am a man of 'god', I would have since finished off all these puppies..

They seem to forget that I am a chief priest..

ilugunboy: If truly Okija_Juju is not popular among Umu Igbo....the rational thing is to allow them to express such opinion with their votes.

Let's test that assumption that Okija_Juju is an outcast with OUR votes grin grin
spot on!
i have been saying this for the last 24 hrs! they claim okija is more yoruba than igbo.....why not let the polls decide that? the organisers are afraid okija would beat them @ the polls so they wrote a brainless electoral rule that would work against okija!

okija has been put to several alpha-testing and he's squeaky clean. he has no criminal record anywhere, there are no women chasing him for child support - he's been an outstanding member of his community - he never hesitates to cater for the needy and he's a patron to 7 different groups in the east! what more do these vampires want from okija?

FreeGlobe: I made it clear I don't want to engage Yoruba people. The mod's will not caution you now until I throw caution to the winds ang get banned. You are Yoruba, what is your business here, why not go look for little children to molest as in your bloof line or go and discover more achaic ways of eating amala and ewedu. This is not opc or NURTW amala elections.
i will not pay attention to the blatant tribalistic comments you made - you are only telling the entire forum the kind of shitty upbringing you had! you hail from a firewood background - this is the only reason you can spew such rubbish about another tribe openly without fear or fervour! continue to disgrace the community that birthed you - in another 20 yrs, your children would read the above comment and shake their heads in disgust to the kind of retardëd father that produced them!

i don't like okija-juju.....he's a witchdoctor, he supported the aluu community for what they did to those boys, okija is diabolical, etc......but should my dislike rob him of his constitutional rights? what has okija saying the truth about rochas gotta do with the eze ndigbo? this is blatant corruption rubbed in our faces.....okija should be allowed to participate otherwise i would bring so much pestilence to this thread, the 3 musketeers(dede mabiakwu, pointlessB and onlylie) would cop hypertension this month!

I wonder how a human being can live his life this way.

Our cultural revolution will smoke out of such people and either force them to leave Igboland, or change.
it's now obvious this eze has no brain-cells......
coogar = okija? you should donate your brains to the ape kingdom!
Politics › Re: Eze Ndi Igbo Online Election 2012 - Nomination in progress by coogar: 12:32am On Oct 23, 2012
Onlytruth: Another comment from the Eze.

I have noticed that some of our people are still trying to collect back spilt milk, and in the process unwittingly undermining this process.
I can understand that some non-Igbo may do this for mischievious reasons; I cannot understand why any Igbo would do same.

I don't know whether supporters of Okija_juju are naive or just plain dumb. The man sealed his own fate with Ndigbo last year, and his current behavior has not improved one bit. He even told us some pages back that he would not reject or withdraw some of these views that sealed his fate with the rest of us.

As the office says, it is for Ndigbo ONLY. Then comes the next issue. How do we know who is Igbo here on Nairaland? Okija's words told most of us that he is not Igbo.
I personally still don't believe he is Igbo. I am entitled to my hunch. cool

When I say that his sins are UNPARDONABLE, I meant every word. And yes, there are unpardonable sins! I know that Nigeria has warped some of your minds to the extent that any aru is accepted these days, I would be shirking my responsibilities if I allow that rot to rear its ugly head here. Uncompromising resistance to these types of behaviors (I can get any with anything in Igboland -any aru whatsoever) is part of the CORE of my the cultural revolution launched by ENYI. Disunity (based on all sorts of things) is the greatest problem facing us Igbo. Anything leading to Igbo seeing other Igbo as different IS AN UNPARDONABLE SIN, unless of cours the person repents and asks for forgiveness. If it were in the olden days, I would have sold Okija and all his followers to the Portugese slave merchants in the coast! Yes I would. cool

Only a fool points to his father's house with the left hand (in Igboland of course). cool

BTW let it be known that Okija has at least 20 usernames on Nairaland; and his followers have similar numbers of usernames. So, how can we allow him to contest when his unscrupulous followers would likely inundate us with spurious votes? Onye wetara atumatu ahu, onwekwara ako na uche? undecided

If we are talking about another guy, we could have since added him to the polls.

So, anyone who is still canvassing his candidacy is either one of his countless usernames, or his confused minnions trying to overawe, adulterate and befuddle the process, and in the resulting melee skew the election to his advantage, or defeat the entire aim of the process.

So, let's move on. cool
with all due respect, you are a disgusting idiöt!!
i actually think an extensive IQ test should be taken to determine this kinda stuff! i actually thought the incumbent eze was a sensible human being but i am disappointed with the comment above! baseless conjectures devoid of facts and substance..... okija juju has 2999 usernames, what are those names? if he indeed has a thousand usernames, how come his nomination is less than 15 since this process began?

onlytruth, your name should be onlylie!
Politics › Re: Eze Ndi Igbo Online Election 2012 - Nomination in progress by coogar: 12:24am On Oct 23, 2012
PointB: The ugly situation is clearly a figment of your imagination. Okija_juju is in breach of the rules, he failed to appeal. There are many leading Igbos who satisfy the rule, why must we make exception for those who fail? Guy, stop shouting your voice hoarse, no one is moved by you false sense of concern.

We remain strong and resolute. We must see the process through. In my opinion, Eze OnlyTruth or whoever succeed him can call for a review of the process. But as for now, we have election to run, and agent of confusion are advised to stand aside. Their opinion are as irrelevant as their presence.
someone should send this faggöt to aluu where he would be bruised, beaten and eaten up!

ogugua88: Shout out to Ifyalways. I admire your courage on this thread.

Some things:
1. I nominate Odumchi.
2. I believe Okija has the right to contest. No fellow human being can deem another's past behaviors as unforgivable on behalf of an entire group. I don't feel that way and I'm sure others don't as well.

Some conditions must be met, however:
A. Apologize to those you have offended
B. Make peace with those who were offended by his remarks. (whether they accept his offering or not is another issue)
C. Unlike others, he should be required to state his good intentions for brothers and sisters of Igboland.

I did not see Okija's past remarks so I can't hold them against him. If they true, however, then how unfortunate, but I do believe in people changing. I don't appreciate people holding on to old incidents and trying to make them current issues again. PointB did the same to me just last week or so. We're all adult men and women. It would be nice if we can act as such and construct rational solutions to whichever issues are plaguing us. If what he did is so unforgivable, then surely no one will vote for him, or at least he won't get the majority. Right?
this!!!!!
Nne Okija juju wants to be a selective eze who will stand for some igbos and will not stand to defend some, with such mindset in him i personally disagree with him.Can yoruba's allow anyone who cannot stand to defend their heroes and leaders in public to be oba? take a look how yoruba's had been firing e- missile from all angle since chinua achebe wrote his book about what he experienced during Biafra/Nigeria British war. Men it's a high time we try to look inward and stop every element of divided spirit among us. Each time Nigerian people kept saying Igbos are not united they have used this single terms to manipulate us for decades now and we can't learn. If Okija juju had any beefing with our past or present leaders, Okorocha , ojukwu and co he don't need to come openly in a forum such as Nairaland where others are very much alert to see reasons to bash us.Our people said onye jiri nwanne ya ga izu onwe ya ka o jiri ga.Meaning him who gossip about his brother with outsiders gossiped himself.Okija Juju no matter what you feel about any of our leaders pass or present you are not suppose to join enemies to castigate them and expect to be an eze or leader.
you are an unrepentant dolt!
let the polls decide if people want okija juju as the eze or not - why are you putting the cart before the horse? if the cabal believes okija is an adulterated igbo man, the poll would certainly reflect that....there's nothing to be scared of! if your opinion is the general perception of the members of this forum then there's nothing to worry about - let the people decide who they deem fit to wear the shoes of the eze-ndigbo of nairaland!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by coogar: 7:07pm On Oct 22, 2012
chamotex: How many keepers can you compare with those two. Compare their wealth of experience and age to Mannone - that's the difference.
They are world class goalies.
what about de gea? he always manages to parry the ball away from danger! these goalies train every time you know.....and these sort of scenarios are simulated for them everyday of the week.....mannone lost the match!

coded guy: @ Coogar
A few keepers might be efficient in the art of diverting a shot from danger. Buffon and casillas are very experienced compared with manonne.
we are saying the same thing here......
arsenal lost via a rare mistake from their goalie - not necessarily because they were outplayed or outfoxed by norwich. with szczesney or fabianski in goal, it could have been a different outcome. i wouldn't pay attention to that match sha....it's a one off!

With your analogy every shot, header, pass, cross freekick must be controlled and that's impossible, its also what makes it a game.
at this level, that was a cheap goal to concede! the shot wasn't even at close range......a decent goalie should be catching that or in a worst case scenario, parry the shot to safety!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by coogar: 5:55pm On Oct 22, 2012
chamotex: People talk about goalies should have parried it out of play or away from danger. That is easier said than done.
You don't have the time to think about that...your first instinct is just to get your hand/body behind the ball and save.
Otherwise nothing would be stopping all goalies from diverting it away from danger.
watch buffon, casillas, etc when they take shots.....
